1984 quote ftw.

Running GB stock sense and I don't have it. Definitely let my buddy with a tbolt know about it though.

Almost all the devs have taken out the loggers.apk along with the other associated files from their roms for the Dinc, so there really isn't anything to worry about.

Regarding the dinc maybe. But my buddy with a tbolt flashed a new rom today and sent me a screencap of htclogging.apk in root explorer.

[Q] Most ROMS?

A question of curiosity, does the Droid Incredible have the most ROMs? If it doesn't which phone does?
I don't think so. I know the Evo has us beat.

Yup so does the HTC Thunderbolt with their sensation port which is going well now that they have a workable rosie and lockscreen.

The OG Desire is doing pretty good they actually have a sensation port and we dont.......can't wait till our gingersense ota gets leaked and we can get some good ports up
So, the jist I get from this discussion is that HTC kicks ass at making phones. Yup. I know my Incredible has turned me into an HTC fanboy.
Can't help but suspect that the Droid1 has the most ROMs.

wouldn't the g1 technically be the first "droid"?

Im going to call you on this one. Have you looked at the Android Dev section of the Incredible vs the Thunderbolt? There are 18 devs in Rom Manager alone for the Incredible

OG Droid, first "droid" since Verizon bought the rights to use Droid in advertising for their Android phones.
G1 is the first Android Device.
And of course to answer the OP's original question, I'm going to say either the Nexus One or the G1. Both are known as true developer's phones. I mean, they have Gingerbread running on the G1!
What is the best ROM for the incredible , I am rooting my wifes phone and looking for a good rom. any help would be appreciated....

Z4 Won't work. You have to use alpharevx or revolutionary.
Sent from my Incredible 2 using XDA App

Yeah asking how to unbrick your phone. Look I understand being around the root process, o switched time roms twice a day on my fassy. This thing is a diffrent beast. So humble yourself and read because you need s-off. Then flash a recovery then root by flashing Su or installing a Rom. But welcome.
Ps I hate you for getting a froyo filled inc2. Jk lol

You said something about z4root...something this phone can't use. Then when someone told you that wouldn't work you got all snooty about you knowing what to do. They just don't want you to brick your phone bro.

If your Inc2 would happen to come with 2.2, the most you would get with s-on is temp-root, no custom recovery, no custom roms, no custom kernels, and you'll lose that temp-root after rebooting. Inorder to achieve permaroot you need s-off. Software s-off can be reversed btw. So run Z4 if you want. Most you'll get is temp-root and nothing further with at, if that at all.

Modded MIUI ROM?

I know that on the original Dinc there were a few modded verisons of MIUI. Is anyone working on anything like this for the Dinc2? I'm extremely interested in the prospect.
I never heard of missed versions...even on the dinc which I had for a year

My favorite is condemnedsouls sabotage sense.

My favorite is the ICS one with the full working camera, front/back and camcorder, and that unlocks 4G capabilities. I forgot the name of the Rom.

I've never quite thought of a ROM as being "comforting", but my goto is usually CM7 for now.
I like Liquid GB a lot. It isn't as flashy as some of the other Roms I've been running lately, but it's stable, quick, and seems to be very kind to my battery. I always leave a prepared backup of it on my phone in case I'm ever going to be travelling for a couple days. I load it up and all my worries will be abated until I get back home to flash the newest ICS Rom in it's place and deal with all the quirks.
The most comforting to me is Miui. I love when I get a call and the embarrassing hi res fullscreen pictures that I choose comes up of the particular contact.

Incredible 2 on the way

I just picked up one for my wife that will be here Friday. I would appreciate any suggestions on which ROM is the most stable or any other hints you might have. Thanks!

The most stability definitely comes from the CM7 roms. I personally have not used them but I am almost positive that they work 100%. Another suggestion would be AndyBoneStock, I believe it was same as stock but debloated.
Thanks for the advice! I will check those out. The wife doesn't let me mess with her phone much so it needs everything to work & be solid. I have the original Incredible and a Nexus 4 to take care of my flash habit.

I think Andybonestock has all bloat, hence the name bonestock. Sense m is nice as jizzy said, and skyraider. But if you look, there are already about 50 "what's the best rom for my wife/gf that is fast and stable" threads. Check those for more suggestions.

Of course but its more than being high and mighty. The more threads made, the harder it is to find things. If there's like 30 threads asking the same thing, it gets kinda old. Because usually it means they didn't even bother trying to look first. Which is am XDA rule.
