İcs game screen touch problem

Hi,,, i am use ics a100.12.00 rom

These issues are known. There is current no way to fix it. You'll just have to wait for the official release (it should be fixed by then).

This is one of the main reasons I have not stuck with the ICS upgrade....if your want your stuff (games) running without "too much" issue then you need to revert back to HoneyComb

It seems that android ics 4.0.3 has lots of problems with the touch screen, Every game haw problems.
Backstab will randomly stop responding to until you click items with both hands
nova 2 wont stop shooting or moving
shadowgun the same as nova
samurai 2 vengeance doesnt have a lot of problems but sometimes it will thing that you still touch the analog for it to move althought you dont.
AND a lot more games...
I had seen a costum kernel that could allow you to play shadowgun without problems but i dont remember its name...
it might work for others games aswel

to properly play nova on any of my devices i have to have 3 fingers touching the screen i don't know why nova does the stuck controls bug on my captivate aswell.

012 is not an official rom....it has problems!
014 fixes the problems...download it from the devs section and install it...

The a100 has problems with this in general the digitizer loses track off your fingers I would imagine Acer will address this in an update.

Wiui..modern combat

Hi, Im new in the forum.
I have a Defy, and once a week, I change my ROM.
The last ROM installed on my DEFY was WIUI.
Everything was OK..but when I Launch my games...it says FORCE CLOSED...
By saying games, Im talking about: Modern Combat 3, and Asphalt 6.
Does anyone have any idea...or a patch to solve this problem...??
WIUI is awesome..but if I cannot play my Gameloft´s favourite games...then I preffer Cyanogenmod 7.2 ....

Problem with some gameloft games on ICS/JB

Many of Gameloft games closes on ICS/JB roms,,mostly due to some problem in multitouch..i found http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1443949 where some tweaks have been done to the zoom to make the games working.can these be done to the epic too??

I have quite a few running on my Epic with CM9 RC2 with no issues, such as Asphalt 7, Asphalt 6, UNO, and N.O.V.A. 2 - Near Orbit…
I did not do any special configuration to get them to work.
side note: I DID add the info from THIS THREAD to the end of my build.prop, but that was to help with the battery life

try running the old spiderman hd,gangstar 1,2, gta 3 etc ..u will know what i mean..

I had GTAIII on my Epic when I was on CM9 and it played fine.

Maybe a bit off the subject, but I had GTAIII on my HTC EVO4G (unrooted) and I loved it.
Now, I have the Epic 4G (rooted) and I have the game purchased on the market but of course it isnt compatible.
So, I notice some people doo have it on their Epic, I'm wondering how you get it to work ?

I run GTA3 on my Epic all the time, luv'n the save game with a Tank!
I do tone down the details and OC a bit, but it does startup and run with no issue.
Also run Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation and Backstab with no issues
In general, I have no issues with Gameloft games, so I would guess this is just an issue with games Gameloft has not bothered to update for ICS, which kinda sucks for those that paid for them.

I dl'ed it on another device, and copied the APK over, then installed.

Asphalt 7 gives me fc everytime upon startup closed unexpectedly everytime

That is so weird that it works now because I've tried awhile back and it didn't work, it'd give me a black screen after opening it. But I checked out that thread which helped a ton, and I got it installed and working! 100% .. not one problem.. yet haha.
Ahh, just like PS2 lol, lovin' it! I just found the GTA||| v1.2 apk and downloaded the SD data once (which I've read you may have to d/l it twice) and once it was done it opened just fine and has been working great ever since.

1) Watch where you're posting. I know there might not be a separate forum for Micromax A89 (and there will not be!) but anyway one can always go to Android General/Apps and similar sections for this kind of problems.
2) As for what you mentioned, yes I'm experiencing the same with an older version of Asphalt 6, only that it exits ONLY WHEN I do a multi-touch action. The problem exists across Android 4.x. I don't care about that game so I deleted it for all my Android 4.x ROMs. Best bet for you is to see if the game you're playing has any recent upgrade. But then again, if you happen to be playing Asphalt 5 or even older games... Time to move on to better games and a better phone!

Glu games on rooted devices

Anyone here that experienced that Glu games are not working on their rooted devices with custom ROM? I just found earlier that all of my Glu games aren't working on my rooted phone with Cyanogenmod 10 M2. I tried reinstalling, clearing the cache, and clearing the data of the game but none of it worked so far. I also found out that Dungeon Hunter 3 doesn't work and Dead Trigger has some graphics issues (flickering). Anyone that have/had a similar experience and can offer any solutions?

Super su had an option, i believe, to temporarily Unroot the phone (pretty much specifically for this reason). It worked for me on 9 innings 2012.

For dead trigger turn off hw overlays in dev settings and it works flawlessly.

Thanks for moving this, kind moderator.
I managed to fix almost all of the problems. The flickering in Dead Trigger was caused by HW overlay so I did the appropriate setting for it. The other Glu games that worked I don't have any idea how I fixed them. Although Deer Hunter Reloaded is still not working for me as it's stuck on the Atari loading screen. Also, thanks for the temporarily unrooting advice through SuperSU - I might try this solution once I encounter the same problems again.

LT28at Games Crash

I recently traded my iPhone 4 for an Xperia Ion(LT28at) and first I noticed was the default launcher(Xperia Home) wasn't on it so I had to be put a different launcher on it. Then I started to notice that many ram-hungry games would start to crash.
I would try to launch NFS: Most Wanted and it would load some then just force close it back to the home screen without saying it stopped responding or anything. Same happens on Dead Trigger, Dead Trigger 2, Real Racing 3, Modern Combat 3, Modern Combat 4, and even Respawnables. I'm surprised that the DraStic DS emulator runs but then after ~20 mins of playing it starts to say I'm running low on ram(possibly because I play a 512mb ds rom mostly).
My Ion is still on stock ICS (haven't found a rom to flash yet, and I can't upgrade to JB because its the at&t model..). And it is Rooted.
Anyone know what could help? Maybe a different rom to flash? Just let me know what could help because it always make me become enraged with my new phone.
And if someone knows, I would really like to get the stock launcher back on since it was off when I got it.
