I'm not sure if this is the right section to post it, but it would be nice if some moderator would open new forum sectin for new andorid device Samsung Galaxy W i8150, which was released few days ago. So that possible rom developers could publish their work there.

So, now I also have a Samsung Galaxy W and of course I am interested in all information I can get. I already had two HTC phones running Win mobile from XDA. The last phone already was running Android at the end, also from XDA. I would be really happy if XDA would stay in the tradition of improving my phones.

I was wandering around the atrix forums and i came across a rom for the atrix called LiGux.. Its a cross between CM7 and Miui. In the download directories i also found a att galaxy s2 version of it. Would this help the miui developers with the miui version for our variant of the galaxy s2?
I'm not the original developer, i just found this and thought it could help us out with the development with our phones.

I'm a user of Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom for about a month, and always had Android Phones that were up to date regarding software. Even by the manufacturer or the community.
But the S4 Zoom is stuck in Android 4.2.2 and the development thread is dead in its section of the forum. So I tought of coming here to request a LIGHT. Is there something that I could do to help a start of this? My phone is rooted, but it's the more succeeded that I have been regards this matter.
For dummies, the S4 Zoom looks like a S4 Mini with a camera on steroids, more or less the same specs. Hence I'm here to ask for it

Dude, first off, chill. 2ndly, stop telling people what you want. 3rdly be grateful of what you already have.
The Galaxy W is a pretty old device. Even tho it might be possible for devs to make Android 5.0, i doubt its gonna run smoothly like on Android 4.4. So just flash whatever you have here support them ._____.

Besides, there is no AOSP 5.0 rom yet. Wait for CM12 to come out first, and then maybe we'll get a port some day.

Hey, the first build of CM 12 works smoothier than CM 11.
I dont know if I am posting it in the right place or not. I am new to forums. I have an option of using either galaxy grand duos or redmi 1s. which one should i prefer ? i want the one with bttr gaming options. also i use ipega 9025 for playing games.

Grand has bigger screen,and definitely better devs than redmi 1s.( sorry no offence to redmi 1s devs,but our devs beat u in many aspects).
Redmi1s has more resolution,has miui(which you may or may not really like),has custom roms and a decent dev community.
Reading customer reviews, i find some people saying that it gets heated up quickly while gaming. You must read reviews on websites.
As for grand,it is a solid phone,and if you say that you have only these 2 options,i vote for grand.
