They're the ones from the Rezound, so I assume so, but it says

ibeats are over priced
+1 WAY overpriced ...
Definitely overpriced and they don't sound good at all unless you're listening to rap in which case all that matters is the bass.
Get Zagg Smartbuds instead. Sound much better.

Yeah they're great headphones. I just bought a pair.
Get Klipsch Image S4a's. You may be spending more, but they are some of the best headphones on the market

As the saying goes there's no replacement for displacement. Just get headphones with good power handling, frequency response, and a bigger headphone driver.

Music in headphones quality in lumia 900 ??

on small question....
Is the music playback quality as bad in Lumia 900 as the Lumia 800 was when i had it in the beginning ??
haven't tried Lumia 800 after the latest updates, but just ordered Lumia 900 as i miss WP7,5 and it's the only one i like with big ass screen and nice design...
its definitely not on par with iphone 4s, little better than my Galaxy SII not as good as the Nexus S. the headphone jack lacks power is very low. It could not handle my Monster Turbine Copper headphones, have to use my ATH-CKM55.
Having migrated from Galaxy Nexus for a week or so, I am happy with how my Lumia 900 performs except the headphone. It is a little heavy on the bass side and lacks clarity on the mid to highs (compared to the relatively brighter "signature" of the Galaxy Nexus).
I am just an amateur, don't make your decision wholly on my comments. I am using Westone UM3x or Sennheiser mx550 depending on the situation.
It's good but it lacks sound stage. Sound quality for me goes like this.
Cowon J3, Galaxy S with Voodoo Sound, iPhone 4S, G2X Voodoo Sound, Zune HD, Lumia 900, Galaxy SII.
sound quality is good but lumia 900 do not have the sound app like HTC... and my beats Dr. Dre tour pro do not work as headset only as headphones... nokia told me they do not support right now...
over all i am happy with the sound, as my last phone was HD7.

No, is not even near it. Maybe you will not hear the difference if you use some crappy headphones or any of the Dre line,,, but with good headphones the difference is noticeable.
I'd say the Lumia 900's sound quality is 'decent'.. but not anywhere near a Zune HD with EQ enabled.
I hope MS would include EQ settings on the next OS update.

HTC One X + Apple EARPOD == Authentic Sound

Hi ,
I just used my HTC one X with apple new earpods and really the sound was amazing , the punch that was missing in the original earphones is there .
The control of volume up and down was not there but the center click was working fine and with app "Headset Button Controller" you can have all the options available.
I really don't like IN-Ear's so I had no option but to stick with the original but now with the earpods I think that now I have a better option availaible.
Please share you experience with your original earphones and if there is more better option available in the market coz this one cost over Rs.2000. So if anyone can suggest a cheaper option but not IEM's please.
In Search of Authentic Sound Experiance on HTC ONE X ---
Dude the ear pods ARE in ears. Anyways I tried it on with my one v too. Sounds amazing really crisp but for no reason the isolation isn't as good as the beats tour.

Yes I agree they are sort of In Ear but they don't stick in ear like other IEM's do . So that's why I am a little biased towards these. Beats sure has an amazing sound but they have that total IEM like designwhich kindda annoying for me and they are too expensive for my budget
Please tell me how much you spend for them ??

So you want over the head phones then

No I think he means he doesn't want sound isolation in ear headphones, like I beats, he doesn't mind the one that rest in the ear, and just doesn't want the ones that invade earhole

I hate the ones that just rest on the ears. You get the feeling they'll fall out any minute. I like the one that goes into the ear canal
Can someone tell is it any better than urBeats? or the slim cabled new HTC pods(its nt the in-the-box with my One X, dont flame me if it is the one mentioned in the op)
I have no experience with non-IEM's.
I suggest the Sony MH1C IEM's which are boxed with the Sony Xperia smart phones, For a review you can always Google

If you are interested in more IEM's you can see - http://www.inearmatters.net/2009/01/list_01.html
As for the Ear buds(non IEM's) - you can get loads of options on http://www.head-fi.org/f/

I would again Suggest the Sony MH1c or the TDK EB 950. Both come with MIC's and you can pickup both of them from Ebay. Hongkong seems to be a cheap place from where the Sony MH1c ships and i found ebay.co.uk having discounted TDK's
I "DO HIGHLY" suggest drop by a store and try out stating your budget and the type of stuff you want and let your ear test it out for you.
IMO in-ear is in fact the thing to go now, it won't drop off your ear unnecessary, nice noise isolation and with the correct fit you can always wear it comfortable.
I would suggest EP630i for lower budget pretty nice base for its price.
honestly i still feel IEM is the way to go.

No I just don't want the earphones that block the ear canal .
I loved those IEM but they pain my ear too much so just want some earphones which has best of both of worlds . Apple earpod are excellent options but midrange is an area of concern

Thanks for the suggestion . I agree that IEM has great quality and comfort but the main problem is they hurt my ear a lot . I had tried many . So to save my ears from damage and enjoy the music lifetime I just wanna have earphones which doesn't block my ear canal

Can confirm they're good highs and mids, bass is so so. You don't really need an eq to appreciate them but it helps. I will say though they are NOT long lasting, 3 months and broke. That's everyday listening and taking good care of them.
Currently using Urban ears mini headphones. Extremely nice after playing with the EQ for a few minutes.

Sorry Guys missed one point ..
Does anyone has a permanent solution for this cracking sound in the music player , with beats audio switched on. Still having this is kindda annoying, a noise constantly keeps poking you.
Read this on some thread -
1) Restarted the phone
2) Switched on the Radio
3) removed the headphones
4) then play the music without headphones
5) Attached headphones :good:
Problem solved for a while but still you will get that sooner or later. Youtube has same problem which is more constant.
Switching off beats makes sound lil boring , the thump and the volume goes . If it is fixed in Jelly Bean Sense 4+ please confirm the lucky ones who already updated ..

[Q] How would you describe the sound quality through headphones ?

Hello,
first of all congratulations to all the lucky owners of the new Nexus 7 :good: !
I would like to know how would you describe the sound quality through headphones ?
How would you describe it compared to the "old" Nexus 7 ?
Other comparison with for instance the iphone 4s, SONY Xperia S, Galaxy Nexus, Sansa Clip etc. could be helpful.
Please do not forget to post which headphones you are using as well.
Thank you very much indeed!
Best regards,
pootney
I dont have any of those devices, but compared to the HTC One, which has VERY good sound quality, its a little better of not a lot better. I'm using a pair of Scosche earphones. They run around $30. Not even close to top of the line . Just normal ones.
Very good for a mobile device, it can decently drive my HD598 something I cant say about my HTC One XL.
Hello,
thank you guys.
That sounds promising :cyclops:
Best regards,
pootney
I'd say awesome. The franhauser auido really delivers. I have a pair of v-modas that have 5hz-25Khz frequency response, so they're not sissy headphones. Good quality sound.

I am using Shure SE315's, I would say the Nexus has a slight upper hand. Rich (but not overwhelming) bass and decent treble without using an equalizer. On my SIII, I feel the need to use the equalizer.

i use a set of 11mm skull candy FMJ`s, get a lot of bass out of it, its defiantly on a par with the HTC One with sound, i was very impressed, especially with the types of music i listen to lots of old school house and Italian house, old rave tunes and occasional rock music/hiphop a taste i acquired 7 years ago upon moving to the USA lol

I'm no audiophile but they sound very similar in quality. I've even used the SGS3 headphones and it works fine compared to the original nexus 7 that sounded bad with those headsets cause it did not fit properly.
I use my PSB M4U 2s with it and it has good sound quality. I like the sound quality better than my S IV and about on par with my HTC One with the Beats EQ disabled.
Hello,
thank you guys!
That sounds very promising and makes it harder to wait until it's finally available in Germany.
Best regards,

I have definitely sound distortion on my new M9

I was all night busy trying to convince myself that something wrong with a recordings quality and bitrate, trying all possible bitrates. Today my girl friend and cousin, both having M8, after direct comparison, confirmed this. No one from both M8 has this odd sound distortion. I'm just one with this problem? I'm really frustrated, moreover I don't see any significant improvement over M8. I'm really disappointed with a sound, i remember the difference between M7 and M8, and what we've got this time around, same speakers just another EQ settings, Dolby has nothing to do with hardware, just software settings. This is never the M9, this is definitely M8 second edition for 750€. I have a serious question, what HTC did one year long??? I'll try to bring it back to media markt, will see. Hope the One M9 + or whatsoever will offer more for appropriate amount of money.
What is yours experience?
And please don't offer Samsung! There's no alternative on the market, I need design, metal, stereo and Android!
Faulty unit, Bro?
As a total sound and music freak audio is a massive factor for me, I personally have 0 issues with the M9s audio quality, its outstanding, crisp clear and I can't get over how good Dolby is.
Where are you planning from? Do you have high quality MP3's & have you tried playing some HD YouTube video's?

The sound quality difference (including its clarity, detalization and loudness) between M9 and M7 is about 3.5 times - in either way: BoomSound or the ear-buds set..

Yes, 3.5 times, but only through the speakers. Through headphones M7 better in 3.5 times! I was shocked when I heard the sound in Hi-Fi headphones from M9 compared to m7. We expect that the new device should be at least no worse than the old.
I just hope for future updates.
