Camera lag? - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Any one not getting the annoying beep screen shutter sound freeze then about a second late on the actual picture? Blink detection off. I don't remember the demo being this slow

Faster shutter speed

I've looked thru and haven't seen anything for gs2 about if it's possible to increase the shutter speed on the camera..coming from sensation it's a noticeable diff. And the instant shutter was handy when trying to capture pix of my on the go toddler...anything known to help?

If you tap the screen to focus first and then tap the shutter, it works much faster.

(TIP) Xda app not displaying pictures.

Hi all just a quick little tip, i find if i have force gpu rendering enabled, the xda app wont display pictures. Today i found if i flip the phone to landscape and back again, the pictures will display.
Its not much but thought i would share.

Thanks man, I was getting quite bugged by that issue. I confirm turning off 'force GPU rendering' causes pictures to display fine in both orientations. With GPU rendering on, pictures didn't show up in portrait and showed when I changed the screen to landscape, but only a moment and then disappeared again. Turning it back to portrait too caused them to show momentarily and disappear again.

[MOD IDEA] Phone Turns Silence While Using Camera

Yesterday, while I was taking a video, a SMS came to my phone and screwed my video with notification tone! So I thought a mod which turns phone to silence while we're using camera would absolutely awesome. Can anyone make a mod like that?
Use tasker to set silent when camera app is launched, works for me

Screen fade?

I have a question in regards to the screen dimming feature. So for example when the screen dims after 30 seconds of inactivity or however long each of you have it. Has anyone noticed that the fade from high to low looks choppy it doesn't seem fluid it kind of stutters to the lower brightness right before the screen turns off. Is this normal.

That's not normal.. mine fades as it should.. no chopyness or anything
http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii/187052-automatic-brightness-still-occurs-when-disabled-also-stutters.html
this is what i meant
Go to settings display auto adjust screen tone and make sure its not checked that should fix it.

I think that is caused when you have it set to scan your eye movements to detect you reading before turning off screen. Its in your settings airborne, GREEN LIGHT, GO
