does anyone know of apps to replace the use of hardware home button?eg:bk soft home .a stand alone app/shortcut would be nice.
Save button or something like this. You can find it on market.
button savior.I know of that one.it uses too much ram.but its not what I want.I just want a home button shortcut that I can place as a toggle on the status bar.there are many status bar apps.I use one with the power button and multitasking button along with buttons for all apps/shortcuts.they are just shortcuts/notifications and not processes see.

Mhmm, but the thing is I cannot drag out the recents button and replace it with the menu key in the home touch buttons section and I'm looking for an alternate way to do it, also an idea is to put a skin over it, but I don't know how.

For those with nova launcher w/ nav bar hidden on home screen...

Does home hard press hold still give you the the 'enhanced google experience' popup from the bottom on nova launcher with the nav bar hidden? It doesn't for me and I was wondering if anyone else had the same issue.

You need to swipe up to show the navbar for hard press home to launch google assistant.

Got it. Thanks. So it's not the 'hard press hold' of home button that engages google assistant... it is the soft press hold of nav bar home button that does it? Correct?

LOS16: any way to change nav bar settings?

Hi,
is there any way to config nav bar settings with LOS16 and BQ Auqaris X Pro?
I need menu button and want to use this with double click or long press for Home button?
any solution for this?
thanks for any hints and tips
got a tip otherwise: Button Mapper
https://labs.xda-developers.com/store/app/flar2.homebutton
Am I right that this allows the mapping of the physical buttons but not that the nav bar is visible again? I didn't find a way to make it visible after switching to LOS.
I using free version of button mapper only and only for emulating the missing HOME button
this works
I do not know an option for making nav bar visible again
