transparent facebook widget - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Can someone direct me towards a facebook widget that is transparent for this phone please? i cant find one for this model.

Try Colorize Widget........or try the search function. There's entire threads dedicated to transparent apps n such.

Android pro widgets (apw) is better. Colorize is too buggy.

apw worked great thanks! i did do the search function but it came back with so many results that were phone specific and i wasn't sure which would work with this phone. thanks for the help. one other thing. im trying to find a good alternative to the keyboards that came with phone. a friend said htc_ime however same issue i had with the facebook is that i dont see one that is for the SGS II. is there one that i can use that will work with this phone? or another keyboard you guys would recommend?

I use SwiftKey X. Thumb Keyboard is also a good one.

Stock android calendar widget?

I see this widget is not a part of the vibrant unless I'm over looking it. Does anyone know where I can find it to download it. Thanks in advance

I really like the "smooth calendar" that's available in the market. Sorry don't know where you'd find the stock one.
probably should move this thread to apps/themes
+1 for Smooth Calendar it's awesome.

Alternate dialer

I think the gnex dialer is beautiful but I hate how it does not have t9 predictive text for finding a contact very quickly. What alternate dialer does everybody recommend?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App
Dialer One gives you this option and seems to work fine on ICS.
Check out exDialer - a MIUI style dialer; T9; supports themes (including a nice ICS theme). I had been using DialerOne for 2 years and recently made the move to exDialer with no regrets
I have tried dialer one in the past but just downloaded exdialer with the ics theme and love it, thanks!

Contapps. Great Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare, and Linkeden integration, too!

+1 to this. I love it. it even has an ICS theme if you like the light blue color.
TouchPal Dialer is also nice.

Notigo is nice so that it can clear the missed calls. The zip will no longer work with modern versions of CWM but you can still extract the apk from the zip and put it into /system/app yourself and reset the permissions for the same effect.
Can someone extract the main ics dialer's icon and replace the exdialer app icon with it? Then thankfully post the apk here?

I second this. the exdialer icon is so ugly
Found a solution, desktop Visualizer when you pick an icon select an app icon.

It's exactly what I just finished doing so it looks like I'm still using the stock dialer/contact apps. Couldn't be easier.
Typically I would use an Alt Launcher like Go Launcher, pin the exDialer to the bar, change the icon, then hide it in the main drawer.
Find attached exdialer v59 with main icon changed (the one from default phone app). Resigned. Please uninstall existing version on phone before installing or you will receive a certificate mismatch error.

Most ROMs have t9 dialing enabled in the stock phone app now. This was a big pet peeve of mine too, and one of the deciding factors to flash Gummy Nex. That, and the enabled AOSP tethering.
I'm using android Revolution that doesn't have t9 dialing plus others may prefer the Exdialer.

Sorry, wasn't being rude, I just wanted to let others know if they like the stock dialer and want t9, they have options

Im looking for skins or themed keyboards.

(Dev help) Motorola Photon Q launcher and widgets

I'm trying to get the new Motorola photon q launcher to work on the epic touch running jelly bean. Everything seems to work just needs to be resized. Also the circle widget is really nice and would be great if someone can get it to work with other launchers. Here are the files and thank you in advance for helping on the development for this great launcher and widget.

What have you tried
I am interested in this as well. Have you pushed the app to yhour system/app directory and changed the permissions to match everything else in there?
They install fine. The only thing is when the widget comes on the launcher screen it says that you cannot use with third party launchers. I don't know how to edit the permissions of the widget itself

Talk to a really smart friend today and he was saying that it's in the code of the widget.

Anyway to edit the widget and the launcher? Because I really like both of them.

Took a look at the widget on the photon device and i must say it is pretty cool looking. You would have to attract the attention of whoever took time to port the clock and weather widget from the HTC devices.
Anyone, anyone?????? My wife is looking for this to add to her GS2
Search the Google play market for Rings Digital Weather Clock or One More Clock Free. The widgets o are looking for are in there
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=factory.widgets.bubbledigitalweatherclock here's a link for the widget. Looks pretty good

Transparent s4 weather widget

Hey guys, I just stepped up to the 4 from the 3 and I love the widget. However, it looks like crap with most wallpapers. I've seen several transparent ones in the home screen pics, can someone please give me the link? I'm not a newbie, I searched..Lol. Seems you need to be rooted to use the ones I found. I store I wasn't gonna root this one... it's only a matter if time though...Lol! Thanks in advance.

As far as a transparent TW weather widget, I don't think that one's possible. One alternative that looks pretty close is "Transparent Clock & Weather" from the play store.
Without root, try beautiful widgets from play store. The tw one is from evilart (wicked roms), and its for rooted phones.
