It works on both odex and deodex provided it has modified % battery xml status/loading in framework-res.apk.

No any middle values like 99, 98, 97,96, etc....
Running stock ROM 2.3.6 XXKPU
Appreciate any advice.

Just add the attached service.jar to a UOT-Kitchen-Updatepackage --> system/framework
Your theme has to support the percentage steps.
Atrix's hardware supports 10%-steps only, but Defy seems to handle the 1% steps pretty well.
I recommend to charge till full and wipe battery stats with app, after applying the patch. --> Then it will show 99/100% when charged
Make Backup first!
Edit: Theme for motoginger including modded jar attached, same as on picture.
Remember:
Try at your own risk, I'm not responsible for bricked devices!
And say thanks, if this works for you
I tried it, but it just won't show any difference with the 2.3.4-134 and a modded framework, supporting 1% steps.
how do you make a framework support 1%?
ususally there are 10% steps. The themes i built in kitchen showed 10% steps only, without the modded service.jar
for now i can't say wether its accurate or not because Atrix's hardware seems to support 10%-steps only. when it is fully charged it shows 98%, maybe someone can improve this.
Make Backup first, and try by yourself.
Remember:
Try at your own risk, I'm not responsible for bricked devices!

just curious for accuracy, have you recalibrating your battery?
Yes i wiped battery.stats, the only bug i can trace is that it shows 98% when it is fully charged.
Everything else is working perfekt. Linear and no drain. Maybe the 98% are due to the fact, that i wiped in recovery and not with app.

Install a theme that supports percentage battery and place the services.jar in system/framework
working
It works for me, I'm on latest 2.3.4 based on JBoogie3's blurry ginger.
Does this patch need deodexing?
Do i have to deodex all files in system/app and system/framework to use the modified services.jar?
My Defy runs with SBF 2.3.4_134 from here. And as I have seen in the MotoGinger thread, you can't deodex the stock mediaGallery.
Awesome!
I'm going to give it a try

Thanks spica123, tried it without a kitchen theme because kitchen is down since a few days. No errors but I couldn't verify that it worked (i think it will not because it only replaces services.jar but with an odexed rom there is also services.odex)
Changed now to a modified rom version from walter79 where your patch is already in.

For my know, The 1%battery step is control by "libandroid_servers. so". And I have no change when use the services.jar. Can U upload the "libandroid_servers.so"
file in system/lib for me?
the "libandroid_servers.so" is the same as in the normal release by iaio. this patch seems to work without any other modification, i think. It also worked on JBoogies rom.
The 1% bar in motoginger is awesome

[MODDED APK]Inverted AOSP MMS.APK

Hello GUIse
I thought I'd try my dab hand at modifying the AOSP MMS.APK and see what I could do. As you know, I helped create & ported the Black Android Theme to the SGSII so I love the theme and I love Blackifying apps. So, I present to you my Inverted AOSP (Google) MMS.APK which is COMPLETELY Black (Screenshots Below)
I'm going to be inverting alot more apps to give in mine & Pele's theme.
This should work on all ROM's. If it doesn't let me know and I'll be sure to fix it straight away.

very nice, any chance of getting it with the slide notifications on the lockscreen?
Hi NitrozK, the MMS apk looks brilliantly black. Awesome. I renamed it and replaced it with the MMS.apk in the system folder and it worked fine with the Revolution 2.6 ROM and with JKay lockscreen. But the system stays awake all the time with "Google Services" keeping it awake, hogging the battery. And when I replaced it with the original one, the system was sleeping like it should. I don't know where or what the problem is.
I didn't add it as a separate apk but replaced the MMS one, as I didn't want another one. Can you look into this as this looks superb. I've added a screenshot of the wakelock issue.
Thanks a lot.
Hi Nitroz, all working fine on KH3 stock rom, apart from compose icon when pressing menu, is displaying completely the wrong icon.
Hi may I request you to include this mod into your apk please ....

[MOD][4.0.4]lidroid 15 Status bar toggles for XWLPM (4.0.4)

Dear all,
As Tungstwenty has done a great job to fix the Camera + Video issue on 4.0.4 with non-stock kernels, I believe more and more customise 4.0.4 rom would be released very soon.
Thus here I'd like to share with you the package and some screenshot about lidroid 15 Status bar toggles for XWLPM which is built according to the framework by lidroid & the guideline by WanamLite, believe someone would need that before JKay supports XWLPM.
BTW, please note the followings about the package,
1. Please flash the package with CWM, and the SystemUI.odex would be auto removed when flash the package.
or you can unzip it and copy the apk files to your system manually with RootExplorer and change their permission code to rw-r-r.
(QuickPanelSettings.apk, SystemUI.apk to /system/app and lidroid-res.apk to /system/framework, do remember to remove the /system/app/SystemUI.odex if exists.)
2. The SystemUI.apk is deodexed with Simple Chinese language.
3. It's with Numeric battery.
You can also find the Call rec mod for XWLPM from below link,

If you have an odexed rom you must delete systemui.odex for the mod to work.
@43358005
Your mod works greats thank you :good:
Could you mode you cwm package to delete this systemui.odex if it's present ?

Thank you very much (pressed the Thanks button too). Quick question: what CF-ROOT did you use to root XWLPT? Could you please give me the link to that? Thank you again.
I use always temporary cwm - this metod is functional always (gingerbread, ICS 4.0.3, 4.0.4) from here . I go to orig samsung recovery then I choose apply update from external storage. Then i choose CWM.zip (downloaded here ) and wait until CWM recovery appear. Then i make root or backup,restore or install lidroid 15 Status bar toggles for XWLPM (4.0.4) etc.

How to build apps icon pack:
Things you require:
-Base VRTheme-Here!(Don't worry there are no trojans)
-Some icons-Here are my AOSP icons.
-Required apps from the ROM which you want to modify.
-Notepad++ for changing updater-script.
-Any resizing tool.
-A brain to avoid mistakes and bother me with stupid questions.
-Kindness to press the THANKS button below.
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Steps:
1. Download all the things required.
2. Open your ROM and copy all the apps and move them to a seperate folder. Here we will take only 3 apps-Browser, Messaging and Calculator.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
3. Now extract these apps using 7zip or winrar.
4. Now open the app folder, go to res and find the location where the icon of the app is present. These are generally present in mipmap-xhdpi or drawable-xhdpi. For e.g. in Browser app it's present in mipmap-xhdpi named as ic_launcher_browser.png:
5. Now extract the VRTheme base folder and go to vrtheme->system->app and make a new folder their with named as appname.apk(Here appname refers to the name of the app). For e.g. Browser.apk in my case.
6. Now make res folder in it. And under res folder make another folder which contains app icon. For e.g res->mipmap-xhdpi in my case:
7. Now place your modified icon in it and rename it to the original icon name. For e.g. ic_launcher_browser.png in my case. And resize it to 96X96. Please do not resize mdpi or hdpi icons or else they will pixelize and blur.
8. Do the same for other apps. In my case calculator and messaging.
9. Now give this icon pack your name. Go to META-INF->com->google->android and open updater-script with notepad++ and in second line replace alokbina with your name. You can practically change almost everything under ui_print in updater-script but remember that it should be in the format ui_print("ABCD"); . Here replace ABCD with whatever you like.
10. Now you will be having 4 folders- data, META-INF, system, vrtheme and an image named as preview. Zip all these and rename it whatever you like and flash it with CWM and you're done! Enjoy your own icon pack Feel free to THANK me :laugh:
