The only mistake i made which i realized when i uploaded is in build number there is a error in settings. Dont tell me about that. I am going to get that fixed. I'm going to rewrite this thread from my desktop once my ISP stops acting up.
This is the build myself and mikeyman been working on for the past couple months. We came long way and there is little time left before it goes stable. We decided to post it hoping someone could jump in and help us out finalizing this and also to show you guys the progress and of course to shut the trolling and doubters . Its beyond us right now...we're still going to maintain it and update it with fixes each time we find one.
NOTE
This is not a daily driver build. I have warned you. Don't install this if you're looking for stable build,most stuff don't work. Were not going to support the build...at least not under this state.

- Camera/camecorder.
- in call audio.
- Small graphical glitches.
- find out more by yourself and please report back.

Yea, there is some video issues with the build especialy if you have the usb cable disconnected. We think that this is a kernel issue. As far as the widgets, we will look in to it.

are you referring to the skyrocket not running it, because I am and it's great.
only problem i've noticed so far is it doesn't detect the internal SD card and i dont see an option to change the location of it or use it. back to jug for now
Hi Nexus S 4G users. I have made this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20402775#post20402775 for the Nexus S and would like to bring it to Nexus S 4G if I can get some testers. I would need a couple of testers that have like 2 hours to spare so I can build up the ROM as if I had a device in hand. Only way I will build it because it is lots of trouble building blind and then have to wait many hours to hear back.
If you are willing to help me test, then maybe we can meet on IRC or something and I can pump out builds while testing is being done.
I like to make my builds in steps and it sucks with no device.
Or if by chance you are in the lower westchester county area of NY we can meet up and build in person

Hi everybody. I will be getting a new phone soon since my e4gt screen cracked. It still works fine, touch screen still responsive just very badly cracked on the right side of screen. So im considering donating it to some dev out there.
I figure its my way of giving back.
I dont know if its covered under any kind of warranty but I dont care cause sprint coverage is horrible so im getting something else.
I also have an extended battery
So is anybody interested?

I do development for thus phone and I'm often needing a tester phone. I'm a single Dad and need to maintain contact with my kids to o. Right now I'm using my own personal phone to develop on. Check out my latest jb black bean with jelly rom. long as the phone boots normally and all the buttons work.. cracked screen doesn't matter. Hit me up on gt gtalk if it's still available. Give it to droidmodder. He's trying to develop for this phone with no device and keeps getting a bad rep because he can't test hos own work.

That's very kind of you. I suggest giving it to a real developer, and not one of the many Team <Whatever> modders. Modders just change apps, add a 3rd party launcher and some skins/theming, and tack on someone else's tweaked code. The real devs tend to have a github where you can track their code. There are only a handful of real devs remaining, the rest are "developers."
You could try asking chris41g, marcusant, aprosamurai, toadlife, bbelos, or people on the CM team first. I'm not sure how active these people are on the GS2, some may have moved on to newer devices.

Look I really appreciate the work all these Devs do on these roms. But why not just all get together and make 1 really solid 4.3 rom where everything works. Every rom I flash has its own perks but also every single rom has something that isnt working.

I'm sure anyone that has put in any time to make these wonderful roms for us to use will be glad to tell you you are free to not use them if you are unhappy with them. That or you know, put your money where your mouth is and actually Learn How to Program for yourself and Help to perfect some of the things here that you are so clearly unhappy with.

You sir are why devs quit sharing their work with us. You know, the work they do in their spare time after working, spending time with wife/husband/kids etc. Seriously, if you aren't happy with a rom you can fix it yourself, wait for it to be fixed or use another rom. There is no excuse to come here and act like some self-entitled jackwagon.
P.S. Jackwagon was the nicest word I could think of.
No one said "flash my rom or I kill your dog". If you don't like to be a part of a big experiment, go follow a cooking forum.
But to help you understand why a developed rom sometimes has errors:
Developers may get a leaked source and they tinker with it to get it out to us ahead of the official release. Other times they get a rom from a similar device and port it over to our phone, and it takes trial and errors to make the port work.

Check out the guy in the (ROM) Sky Note Air - 4.3 I317UCUBMK6-MJ4 Hybrid 12-25-13 thread, that told Seanz "no rush" when he was told an update was coming.
Dude was up until midnight last time busting it out and went at it again today.
Seanz missed a few things in the first release, but thank the lord, the guy is not in a hurry to get the fixes.
Helluva human being there.
And I was being a **** for pointing out he did not reading ONE fricking page back to see that Seanz was working on a fix.

Forgive my negative opinions/views.
Very bad day at work. On top of the bad day my phone borked itself first thing after I got to work after a restart. Everything started falling apart and I knew I wouldnt be able to fix it all till I got home which was barely 30 minutes ago.
As always my gratitude is extended to all the devs of this community! Ive been a happy member since 2009. And XDA has provided me with plenty of ups and downs.
