Just recently I have updated my Opera browser to v11.5.2, and since updating I have had a lot of trouble with it becoming unresponsive and calling for a Force Quit / Wait / Report option box to appear.
I have reported using the Report option but I dont know if it would be something Opera related or if its something to do with CM7 or even if its a clash with GoLauncherEX
Situation appeared as I said after I updated Opera to the latest version, this was done via the Market so should be a legitimate good release.
I have also updated the XDA/Quark CM7 with latest builds, presently running the 111105 nightly. None of the last few nightlies have improved the problem though.
The problem seems to appear about 20-30 seconds after opera is opened. I can be loading a web page or just sitting doing nothing when it becomes unresponsive and nothing works, no touches on the screen register until fnally the Application is unresponsive message appears.
This does not happen on any other app, and Dolphin Browser is fine.
Has anyone else had this problem? any one know of any fixes? I have cleared app data and caches already

I used to have the same problem, and as I can see on Opera's Android Market page, a lot of ppl have it too.
I had Opera mobile on CMIUI and after latest update FC was after 10sec no matter what u do.
Yesterday, I flashed new ROM - MS2Ginger and now Opera works just fine.
So, I would say that it is just Opera's problem on CM7/MIUI.
EDIT: Nope...It's not working with MS2Ginger either :S
It is working, I mean...But sometimes lags and u have to wait for a bit to open or go through page. When I installed it 1st and set up everything, before closing Opera on EXIT button, everything worked just fine. After closing it and reopening lags started. So maybe it is EXIT button problem.
Ill just try to install previous version of Opera if I find it.

been running cm7 rc1 all day with no problems. tried to use the browser a bit ago, and it just closed - no fc, nothing. try to reopen it, it starts to load the google.com home page, then just disappears.
i wiped cache/dalvik and rebooted. this let me open the browser. i turn it to landscape, and click the classic button on the bottom of the google.com home page, and the trouble starts again where i can't even open the browser until i reboot.
very strange and anoying!
Well, in my case, it turned out to be an overclocking issue. Had clk3 set at 68/1300 and while everything else appeared to be fine (include the stability test from SetVSel), the browser would flake out. The really strange thing is the way it was effecting the phone - no reboot or any other strange problems, but the browser just wouldn't open.
Anyways, throttled back to 1200 and all is well in CM7 RC1 land! Knock on wood...
Just updated to latest version of Opera 11.1.
But I am experiencing crash, no fc no black screen, the app just exits after starting up at the logo screen.
Running Cognition 1.07. Anyone else having same problem?

I haven't been using it much yet today, but on the stock rom, everything's been shiny . Seems like a solid update.
I had the same issue yesterday on my SGS (v1), so probably a software issue. Tried restarting the phone but no effect, so I uninstalled Opera
Have been using Opera exclusively since I got the phone and never had issues.
It won't start at all on mine...

i wonder if anyone else is having this issue
lets say im in tweetdeck and i open a link and it opens in my default browser
while it starts loading, i switch back to tweetdeck
but when i go back to the browser.the browser opens from scratch and then continues loading?
this is happening with opera,stock browser,dolphin
sometimes if i wait till it loads the page half way then i swop to twitter then after a min switch back to browser its ok.it shows it loaded
its very irritating.
i mean we supposed to have good multitasking but it doesnt seem to work right with the browsers?
help someone?

I had the same.
It depends on free ROM.
Maybe it is very low.. So our browsers are closing..
Try to close all programs, working in background.. Or change your rom)

I have a bit of a weird problem. Tried a lot of Google but didn't even really find the same problem..
What happens effects various apps differently, most notably (and annoyin) when browsing.
Uc browser crashes to homescreen, but all tabs are still there when I open it (although entered data is lost because the tabs are loaded from scratch. Total pain, saved this text 10 times so far and it crashed twice already.)
Dolphin closes all tabs but stays open, basically as if it was reopened except with no time delay, all tabs just vanish and thats it. chrome refreshes all tabs but they stay open.
Whatsapp stays open but the keyboard goes away mid writing. Tatanium backup reloads the apps and brings me back to the top. Sygic navigation crashes. All with no error messages. Just to give a few examples.
While not tested I'm sure calling crashes too, so this phone is almost unusable.
I already did a factory reset with twrp and restored a backup from a few month ago that worked perfectly fine, but the issue came back before installing any apps (!).
Rooted 4.1.1 with "blade elite v.1.1".
To me it feels like its just too much happening for the phone so it does weird app refreshes or whatever.
Any help greatly appreciated.... I'm in Malaysia right now with very limited access to computers, so if there's anything I could try on the phone itself...

Google Chrome is not working on my one plus 7t, it used to work fine . Now it shows a loading bar
I installed Chrome beta and it works fine . tested others browsers too and everything works fine
18th day using phone and now my playstore is not working too now all of a sudden. tried clearing cache and data and nothing works . just shows blank loading page and nothing loads.
Updated 10.0.3 to 10.0.4, even after update no luck
Any solution?
I've been having an issue where Chrome just locks up completely and I have to wait a minute or so before it become responsive again. Chalking it up to an Android bug so far and hoping the next patch will resolve it. Fingers crossed..
