HELP~~! How to make the ROM with D2EXT / AD2SDX? - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello everyone.
I am a noob from CN and I encountered a serious problem.
I got the PATCH of D2EXT and AD2SDX
I want to know how to integrating DATA2SD in offical ROM.~
My English is not good, hope you understand.

Can anyone help me ?~

I dunno.. But nice flow chart
Swyped from my CM7.1 Desire using XDA Premium App

You want to write an updater script for A2SD and DATA2SD? How should this work to any rom? Either apps are moved to SD (A2SD) or the whole data (DATA2SD).

Advice on applying MCR R2

I finally managed to root my desire, i want to install one of the pre-baked MCR R2 Roms, was wondering whether the battery mod in this post would work:
it came with the battery mod as well as the usb debugging 'cog' icon [edit] just noticed the new bluetooth icon too, grey when turned on, blue when paired/connected, and a green coloured GPS icon (similar to the wifi one)

[edit] i did the manual install method, but the signed update zip should work too

do not install this on any odexed roms

what would be the best way to install it?
Also would like to ask about the installation about MCR, what do you mean when you say to "Perform a Nandroid Backup first"
How do you set up the A2SD+
This will probably not work as the MCR is odexed In regards to A2SD lots of people are saying that, having installed it, they have lost all functionality in their USB port! So it might be worth just holding out till an update is released (such as android 2.2 )
I've had no issues using MCRr2 with A2SD+ and USB - all been fine for me

I don't believe it...
How about I open one?
CyanogenMod 7 is very good.
Took the plunge and installed Supernova Data2sd version last night. So far am very impressed with the quality and speed of the rom. Went on first time without any errors and have managed to install several apps as well as titanium restore all my other apps. What is even better is i now have loads more room for apps.
Desire PVT4 S-Off
Erase size 40000
HBoot 6.93.0002

1 gig ext 4 Partition

a2sd/data2sd priority method

I understand that NAND is more rapid than sd card and differences between a2sd method, like the picture report in Amarullz thread.
I wonder if exist a method to give priority to some apps rather than others in internal storage.
I mean: for example, suppose that I have 50 apps but I frequently use 10, might be more performant put 3rd part App data and APK (and dalvik if is possible to separate it) of theese 10 apps in NAND and other datas of the other ones in SD card?
Maybe this requires also a GUI to choose apps, I can't imagine what it takes this. Sorry, maybe this idea is absurd, I don't know about programming, it's just.. an idea.

Does link2sd do that? Not sure..
https://market.android.com/details?...?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5idWFrLkxpbmsyU0QiXQ..
Think so..
Im not sure what Amarulz is stating system apk's are in those pictures, but to me they are always on NAND, so those pictures are probably specific to one of those sense roms for cm7 that have to export system app to ext to fit....
Thanks, I didn't know about this. I will try it and post my impression.

you have to tell your phone to move the files to the ext partition
i see you have a rom installed, if you have a superuser app installed (if you dont, download one from play store, i recommend super su) download the link2sd app, choose the apps you want to move (all the ones you wont mind if they go a little slower...) and select create link, that should fix it.
You use Link2Sd or A2SDGUİ .
my guess is that a2sd isn't installed correctly in your case or maybe your ext partition isn't big enough
if you are using cm9 or 10 or aokp michie(hope i spelled that right) made a a2sd cwm flashable zip and some other:swap, softkeys
those will work 100%

With the introduction of 4.1.2 ROM we all were gifted this bug by Samsung.
So, no worries.
okay thank you i am using the Android Revolution HD 9.2 by mike1986 android 4.1.2 you know when will be the fix?
I'm on Stock ROM and I personally don't think Samsung will release an update to fix this issue only. But as you are using a custom ROM it depends on that ROM's developer, so I think you could ask this to that topic.
'Swyped' from my GT-N7100
okay i will ask the developer from that room thx for the help and take care.
i am still having problem with the link2sd app because i got the CWM but when i go to recovery and i go to the advance options in there. you need to create an partition before moving apps to sd but i cant because in the advanced options in the recovery its not overthere anything about creating the partition maybe you will be able to help me,
i am using the app gl to sd but it doesnt moves all the apps that i want only the gameloft games.
