I download the 1.8.8 for samsung galaxy s2, but when I open the software, it shutdown and show that "an error occur". can anybody help? I don know why? the problem start from 1.8.5 on.
You need to have Internet connectivity for the registration.
i use DroidWall and i completly disabled the inet access for TotalRecall, and it works fine on my S2

I have flash the rom I9000XWJM7. and using the OCLF from the appbrain.
i have tried to use Samsung Apps when running on Wifi or data. But both failed.
before the flash, i can access samsung apps.

Try to setup APN for your provider.
APN setup is done - i think?
i am able to download from appbrain, market.
able to surf the net.
I had a similar problem.
It was the APN settings. Looked like my mobile provider has blocked certain Samsung ports. When I changed APN settings (proxy and port) I was able to connect to the Samsung applications.
i tried port 8080 and 8081. but its still not working.
Btw it doesnt even work on Wifi. wifi dont need to configure any ports right?

1. When i try to send apk file with bluetooth,it enters to gmail and appears as gmail attach file instead.
When i try to send file types like RAR,FLV,my phone show "There is no app registered to handle this type of file selected"
2. USB tethering is not working properly.I have to try many times to tether with pc. When mobile data is on,tethering show "tethering error". When mobile data is off,tethering is ok. Sometimes tethering stop suddenly.

Hey guys i have kind of odd question.
but here's my problem. i have a Galaxy s4 SGH-M919 with 4.4.2 Google play edition rom and it thinks it is the galaxy s4 i9505 because it is the exact same as one, specs and software. i would like a boot script that turns on wifi tethering upon startup. the screen is absolutely destroyed because of a failed glass removal and i am unable to see the screen and use touch screen. i do have access to other Galaxy s4 SGH-M919 at my house because their my parrents, but i would like to use this phone's LTE as a hotspot while at school and other places. the home botton still works and so does volume up and down. i am testing ADB right now trying adb but i think it is blocked because i half to ok my computer.
Update: i have adb shell access through recovery and i can read/write system, data, sd card, ect. in android os i have adb access but not su, i think super su is blocking it... anyone how how to fix this? because if i can get su then i can make an app that simulates touches on the screen to open tethering

I play epic seven on nox without problem but on my phone i have some strange error ( this game works only on normal devices ) when phone is rooted they say ( game not work on rooted device )
No i had root and magisk i try to hide root but its didnt work and i try to unroot from magisk i get bootloop so i just downloaded rom stock from samsung and i flashed from odin and made clean install ( all data removed no sd card ) and twrp still on recovery and i get the error again ( this game work only on normal devices) idk what to do guys please how i back my phone to normal without any root files or history of root ?
Solution
To solve it you have to disconnect / turn off the internet (wifi), and open the app without internet, and when it opens and appears the home screen that appears (connecting ...) you can turn on the internet again
(use emulator on the pc, so I did not have to turn off / turn on the modem, just disable and enable the internet network xd)
