The latest version 1-15-2011 have gmail. It just gives you more options on what you want to install. check the boxes and it will install what you want.
Could someone enlighten me as to how the upgrade path for this will work?
I'm new to the Android scene, and have heard lots about Cyanogen, I'm just a bit confused about all the different versions and such.
I was following the previous thread, which seemed to be about preview nightlies, and now we're just talking about nightlies...
Is this sort of like a RC, or is this the final deal? If this isn't the final deal, how difficult is to to update your phone once an update is posted (nightly?).
Sorry for the newbishness, any guidance is appreciated!

It's the same thing from Zinx previews, but here we will have official nightlies from the devs that mean every night we will have a build from the buildBot. Both Zinx and kmob's are the official CM Teams.
Looks like I have something to do tonight...my bro has been asking me about cm7 on his MT4G for awhile now...
Sent from my htc_leo
Josh, wait for a release candidate. these are more for testing even if they work fine.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
Gotta say that nightly number 1 is flying compared to the rest of the cm7 builds out thee love it!
NIGHTLY are not for noobs
Nightly #1 has broken wifi, fyi. It turns on, doesn't scan for a network, and then turns itself off after about 30 seconds. But in general, I'm excited that nightlies are finally here.
Great job so far zinx and kmobs... thanks.

[ROM][OFFICIAL] CyanogenMod 10 Nightly Builds for SGH-T999

CyanogenMod 10 is a free, community built distribution of Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
This is the support thread for CM10 on the T-Mobile Galaxy S3. It's a major work in progress. It may cause all the things in the disclaimer to happen, or steal your girlfriend while you are busy flashing ROMs.
Known issues being worked on:
* Picasa sync doesn't work (if you overwrite the Gallery with the Google version, you'll break the camera, don't do it). We need someone to port the sync code from the old Gallery3D app!
* 1 frame flicker when transitioning between overlay/gpu rendering.
* All the things.
Install instructions:
1. Install ClockworkMod Recovery for "d2tmo". Sorry, CM cannot provide support for other recoveries, although they may work fine.
2. Get the nightly build here.
3. Reboot into recovery and install.
Google Apps are not included in this ROM. You'll need to find those yourself if you want them.
I'll keep this post updated as the Jelly Bean Google apps get updated! I'll upload to MF since it's more reliable and faster.

This is an early preview of CM10 for the Galaxy S3 on T-Mobile. It's a major work in progress. It may cause all the things in the disclaimer to happen, or steal your girlfriend while you are busy flashing ROMs.
CM10 is in a very early state. Most custom CM9 features have not been merged. Please submit a patch to our Gerrit instance if you want to help out.
Known issues being worked on:
* Overlay for UI (extra butter)- We're waiting on CodeAurora to publish, UI is a little janky.
* Camera preview turns green during animations and may crash.
* All the things.
Install instructions:
1. Install ClockworkMod Recovery for "d2tmo". Sorry, CM cannot provide support for other recoveries, although they may work fine.
2. Get the preview build here.
3. Reboot into recovery and install.

This build contains a lot of patches that haven't been committed to the repositories yet! It's not that we're trying to keep secrets, it's just that they are a mess! Give us a little time
Again, CM10 is not even close to ready, but I'm using this build as my daily driver. You have been warned.

I, IMHO, think and believe that Steve can be considered as everyone's "TIMEX"
No matter how tough the going get's, He always comes back a TICKING !
Your no longer a NOOB if you survive your very first brick and come back for more punishment and you want to learn from the BEST VETERANS AT MODDING !
THANK YOU STEVE! You just made my day. Really happy I bought this phone now!

This is terrific! I'm finding the stock rom to be slow at multitasking when compared with the galaxy nexus, hopefully cm10 can bring us up to speed.

Took the plunge, havent had any real issue other than errors trying to download apps from the play store.
Is Google now in here or in gapps package?

I have CWM recovery 5.5.0.4, to update to the 5.8.4.7 do I need to use odin again? Or is there an easier way?
Also what is "Touch Recovery"?

Just use Rom Manager to update it or download the correct one from here and flash via ODIN.
