[Q] Recommend a case for Galaxy S

Hello
ive just got a Samsung galaxy and I am looking for something to make my phone a little different and look nice from others.Can anyone recommend a case for my Galaxy S?just perfect and fantastic.Thanks for any help.

I got an Otterbox for my Captivate and love it take a look at Otterbox's website

Im using the Trident Cyclopse case on my Vibrant. Great durable case and has a built in screen protector.

Thanks for recommend.However,I am looking the case is special on design,there are too many cases on the market,but almost the same.It is not my style,although it is durable.

Thanks for recommend.I have seen many Otterbox cases,they are durable,but I do not like so much,what do you think there are some one unique on design?

I wanna collect special cases.but why no one interested?do you buy a case for your phone?if you do,which case you are using now?I think it is very intesting.

I don't know if can see the posts but otterbox replied to a friend of mine with, "Unfortunately we will not offer a case for the TMobile version. So sorry to disappoint."
I am dissapointed....

Otterbox is up the ass of AT&T as well as Apple and it really pisses me off. The alternatives like Trident and GumDrop are slowing going to gain ground on them.

That is such a bummer! Ugh! I really need to find a good kickstand case or a landscape dock.

Check out the Case Mate POP! Case. It's got a kickstand. I have one for the AT&T SGS2 and it's great.

Im not all that impressed with otterboxes anyway. I have a defender for my hd2 & after only a couple months the silicone got all stretched out over the buttons. Trident FTW.

Well I will be buying that case to try it out. Right now I use the D3O and i love it, its a tight fight but i dont like having to press the power button so hard...

Has anyone compared the new SGS2 ATT LTE to ours its the same screen size and if the fronts are similar .....maybe we'll get an otterbox...

I had a Nexus One before SGS2 and I dropped that thing so many times not a scratch or a dent or anything on that. I know that the SGS2 is plastic vs nexus one which is why I want the best protection possible and adding alittle bulk knowing I can drop it and it will be protected.....

For anyone trying or that has fit the SGSII t-989 in a Infuse 4g Otterbox, please upload pics before and after. Would hate to order this and have it fit awkwardly.

I order an infuse case from ebay. once i get it i will up load pic.

i got a really nice hard case from tmobile store today, its a white, hardshell bodyglove case with a gray rubber strip going across where the "hump" is on the lower end of the device. it fits great, the buttons are easy to push, unlike the d30. i have 2 different d30's and this body glove is my new daily driver... its called the bodyglove diamond shell - white... http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/addons/accessories/default.aspx?categorycode=21#tblId3

hi my fellow XDA members i recently have been going through cheap cases of eBay because i cant find the rite one.i bought one last night by diztronic and it looks promising,i also bought one called case mate i seen on YouTube and that also looks promising but expensive! im going to send one of them back.my perfect case would be a tight fitting gel that is durable but not tpu but more of a stiff gel.anyone come across anything that resembles that? thanks

Diztronic or Cruzerlite Androidified A2. I'm currently using a diztronic with no issues. The Androidified is really cool as well just ordered 3

Both are high quality TPU cases. Im using the Diztronic now. Have 3 Cruzerlites on order waiting to be shipped.The Cruzerlites have ridges on the side for grip and a cool android on the back. Diztronic is matte and gloss and offers good protection. May replace the diztronic after i get the cruzerlite...haven't seen anything like it.

I had been using the diztronic tpu version 1 until I got a rearth ringke slim in the matte black color. Haven't taken the rearth off since.

Casemate Tough or Otterbox Commuter coupled with Carbon Fiber Ghost Armor & your choice of screen protector. I've spent Alot of money on cases/skins and this is the best combo for me. TPU'S are also a great value for light protection but my daily setup is the CM Tough & Carbon Fiber Ghost Armor with a Ghost Armor screen protector. These companies customer service is amongst the best in the industry.

The Diztronic TPU case is awesome. I just got mine today and it fits nicely, no shifting cutouts are perfect and adds a good visual appeal to the phone.

i exchanged a noname TPU case for a casemate barely there and much happier about it...phone weighs almost half and case is good enough for light protection.
besides, it's quite classy, TPU or casemate tough don't do justice to the Nexus...

+1 The Matte Black back is much nicer than I had expected to be, and the glossy rim around the front bezel is very generous, and the overall feel of the case is quite classy IMO.

Hey guys I wanted to buy a case mate pop case cuz I like how it looks but I remember hearing somewhere on here that they aren't selling them right now because they are making revisions on them. I seen a few on amazon still and I been tempted to buy one but does anyone know what these revisions are? Like is there something really wrong with the cases?

The current 1G version doesn't have the hole for the camera's microphone. The CM Toughcase and Barely There version does. I don't know why it wasn't included in the first iteration. Laziness, perhaps?

I'm using the OtterBox Defender Case. If you're not a fan of bulky cases it's probably not for you but, it's perfect for what I need it for.

Damn. To me it does seem like laziness lol I guess ill just wait for the revision model

Casemate barely there or Rearth Ringke Slim?

I just got my Casemate in the mail but I haven't tried the Rearth yet. I am pretty sure it is going to come down to these two and will be a tough decision.
Anyone who owns both want to take a shot at convincing me to use one over the other?

+1 vote for case mate. I have used some case mate cases, and these are pretty decent.

Same here. I have case mate and use it. I also have the samsung mesh case. But casemate barely there works for me.

im not really a big fan of cases like that, i like the flip cases more such as leather flip case or the new samsung galaxy flip cases

I personally prefer the metal slim sandy effect one which I've also done a review on. The flip cases do look excellent though. Getting a tech21 case tomorrow to test. Feels really nice to hold
