Dre beats - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

HTC phones have Dre beats integration in their phones. Is there a Port to get that on epic 4g touch
Epic

Nope, since the Beats speakers are built into the Rezound.
Sent from my SPH-M920 using xda premium

Is it really that much better? no matter what they do to it, it is still just a phone with a MP3 player built into it. Tiny speakers with sound software to help amplify lousy MP3 songs can't make things that much better?

Download volume+ from the market and set it to beats emulation. Sounds pretty good.
Sent from my Epic device.

Also fyi You can get the volume + paid version for free from the developers website.

Power amp from the market is the best I found so far. Tried MANY. Comparable to voodoo sound for sure. But I agree, the headphones make a HUGE difference in quality.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk

I came from the evo 3d which had beats ported over to it. Beats is a simple 7 band eq setting pretty much. You can find the settings if you google it. On HTC beats is only available on the stock music app, it doesnt effect pandora or any other music app. If you adjust you eq you will get a very similar effect because our phones have a 7 band eq in the music app.

I just wish it was compatible with our phones so I can talk with em instead of using two different headphones lol

I use motorola bluetooth headset, s9's or something. They are great. I run with them, if I get a call while im running, I can answer with them, talk with them, text with them, and the sound is good on them.

I concur with your Power Amp app statement. Best music player/sound quality i have heard on anything thus far. Not only is it nice on the eyes but you xan boost the volume twice as high as ET4G's can or almost any other music player app. Its worth paying the extra couple bucks dor the full version to support the developer's hard work!

I wish people would realize that this is the same company that created the sham Monster Cable product. They make things that look like they are awesome but they really suck in comparison with similarly priced products. Im surprised Apple hasn't bought them yet.

Just another case of a celeb using their name to promote a ****ty product. Case in point, any commercial on television at this point.
I have some Bose earbuds that I use with Pandora on this device and am using Volume + . It lets me do what I need for them to sound significantly better than stock sounded.

I also have a pair of Klipsch ear buds, and I like them, but you should check out V_MODA's line of headphones and ear buds. They are good enough to make you say "Beats? Who needs Beats?" I've used them on my iPod classic, my EVO, and now on my Epic 4G Touch, and they are still awesome, especially when used in conjunction with the PowerAmp player.

if they integrate my google music account id use power amp again too. But I just use it in my car the most anyway so the eq isn't that much of a necessity for me as streaming all my ****... is. Ics music client for me

Beats audio.

So did the beats audio files every really work on our phones?
I personally couldn't tell the difference, but it may be because I didn't put the files in the right spot because I placed them in the folders myself, not just flashed the .zip.

Beats audio is a built in equalizer which sounds like poop unless you can control it. That I think on phones its all software not hardware like on laptops. I have the DV6 from HP with beats and stock its terrible... had to adjust and even then it likes to dim when treble is too high and sounds stupid.

Something we can agree on, this guy in my speech class said he had paid 400$ for them b/c of warranty and he says the sound amazing, and the bass is good I wanted to laugh so effing hard and state some damn facts of how ****ty they are regardless it his opinion but clearly he hasn't listen to some good damn headphones. I think in all honesty my damn 80$ Klipsch s4's sound better than that POS. The bass go outs in one ear in the beats, design is ****ty. Must I Go ON, with Build Quality.
Its all about the speaker drivers and architecture it uses. The amount of impedance it has, OHM's, etc...
There are two types of main speaker drivers and they are dynamic or something else I can't remember but its more like actual live sound the Klipsch x10 use them if I'm not mistaken

Are you trying to argue for the sake of being heard? I specified what they were equivalent in, they're both garbage. I even went on and gave more descriptive words to define their laughable "quality". Please read carefully or dispute with a bit more of intelligence, but please, do state if you're like 13, I don't find myself a point in arguing with children. Lol, I know you may be slightly butt-hurt / bitter because it was your money that was spent on skull candy's, I'm not hating on the Brand, just the quality sound it lacks to offer. I'd sell your skull candy's to some noob/sucker and invest on some CX 300's on Amazon, you'll want to marry me for recommending such an amazing affordable choice.

Ive always liked Samsung stock headphones. I like the way they fit in my ear, I know they are not as good as some expensive ones but combined with voodoo sound and a nice equalizer they're pretty impressive.
That being said, I use my beats headphones all the time now, They where free with my HTC.

To be honest i've found the stock headphones fine until I flashed a new ROM with Beats Audio installed. Just can handle the bass now.
They are not bad for the price which is free. I also have a pair of klipsch android version which for the price are amazing, I also have a pair of beats tour which are ok a bit to much base but sounds good with awesome beats equalizer. Now my go to head set is the Bowers & Wilkins p5's they are simply amazing.
The stock Note headphones are on the cheap side and that shows on the audio quality. I use some old in-ear dual drive Panasonic headphones and the difference is huge. The next step for me is the Martin Logan Mikros 70.
not sure...till now its still in the box.
i think their the normal ones samsung supplies cos i got similar ones with my gs2 also
They are o.k for a standard set. - But the quality of the earphones are not as good as in the past. Still have a couple of earphones from my samsung omnia, and they go much louder than these delivered with the note.
But if you want to use them for high end music they are quite rubbish I think
After some good usage out of them I've realised they're not as great as I originally made out... Still good for free and will be ample until I can get a decent set.

They're unmarked noise-cancelling Beats. They're not amazing quality, but they're certainly not terrible. 7/10 maybe. This has been discussed in the other forums for the carriers who received headphones with their phones. Seeing as I didn't pay extra for it, and not all carriers received it with their phones, I'm quite happy with it. The headphones work, they didn't come broken or defective, so why complain? Beats is designed for low bass, so if you're listening to country or pop music, it's not going to sound great. While listening to the music genres it was designed for, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the music came across. Listening to spoken audio or music with little bass will not be perfect on any Beats product, let alone some free earbuds. Bose or Audiotechnica will blow these out of the water across the spectrum, but when you didn't pay specifically for them, these are quite satisfactory.

Bluetooth ones will more than likely have all controls (volume and answer buttons) working. I strongly recommend the Apple Earpods though if you care about the microphone. I have tried many highly praised wired/BT headsets and none of them have usable mics on the N5.

Currently using these Bluetooth 4.0 Headphones with volume adjust buttons, mic, and a power button. Relatively simple. One piece of wire that connects the two pair of headphones and a small battery in the two earbuds that can play about 4-5 hours of music streaming over Bluetooth. I usually work out with these, so I had to get a pair of Bluetooth headphones that are light! So I can testify to their quality! Sound is solid as well, the sound is fairly close to my Klipsch S4 (II) earbuds. Headphones? Meh, I never buy bluetooth for those haha.
I couldn't find the US link to them, but I figured this should be a good lead. :victory:

I found the link for the US a while back, it was pretty recent when I say a while back. Maybe a month at best? So, I hope you find the link, I tried to search for the U.S link briefly, but they are definitely worth the buy.

Monster n-ergy!!! http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009HL54DG/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?pc_redir=1388114642 ... same as urbeats with better features and a better price... They have perfect balance of bass..they have a magnet inside each earbud so u can hang them quickly around your neck when not in use instead of them hanging over ur chest where they can get kinda annoying..they have a pause and play along with mic that i can verify works with the nexus 5..you always get what you pay for when it comes to headphones unless there beats in which ur paying a whole lot for monster headphones with a different logo..at 60 bucks these headphones are the best bang for your buck

These headphones are better sound quality and cheaper. They also come with 3 button controls. This is a way better buy then spending on 60 monsters. I'm an audiophile and use this for the gym and to beat up. My regular studio headphones are vmoda m100s if that helps you identify my music quality.

Yeah man I was surprised by them when I got them. I found them on eBay and I tuned them in viper4android and I was blown away. Really good headphones for beaters.

Yeah, I'm not an "audiophile" (I really, REALLY hate that word) but I am an audio enthusiast (been in the audio industry for 15+ years), and I gotta recommend staying away from anything Monster or Beats branded. You are paying 10% for the headphone, 90% for the brand, and they generally sound like crap.
You want good buds for a good price, go with Yuin. IEMs- Shure or Westone. Cans- Sony, Beyerdynamic, higher end Sennheiser (their low end is crap), Grado, some AKG, HiFiMan, certain V-Modas. Portable supra aurals- Ultrasone has some good ones and the Koss Porta Pro's are pretty much unparalleled for their price and I'm pretty sure that they have ones with mics and controls now.
Bottom line, if they are mainstream and all your friends say to buy them, don't. The best values can be found in brands that don't spend millions on advertising.
