I really hope google doesn't pull this exclusivity BS for too long.. I can't imagine they won't have this phone out on all carriers for the holidays but you never know what google has in there mind. I think we can all agree that google needs a better marketing strategy..

I'd love to have one next week. I'll stay hopeful.

Well it would be solid proof of a Verizon version here. Weve seen those shots of the 4g Lte logo on the back before but im curious as to where the Samsung logo plays in to this on the final version.

This makes things interesting... pics of description tmrw?
of course, they could just be copying information from the Samsung or Google site right now, which of course lists that there are 2 models.... wouldn't be the first time that a big name electronics store used the wrong description for their system lol. Just something to keep in mind.
Yeah i wouldn't be surprised if it was wrong they also fail to mention ICS or how much memory is on it so i don't know.

Nice. Thanks for the pics. Very interesting it still says "LTE or HSPA+". Still sounds like a general copy/paste list of marketing speak from Samsung given to sellers. Makes me hopeful though.

Interesting that it says 8.94mm thickness, which is the correct thickness for the HSPA+ model, but according to unconfirmed reports from some Chinese sites the thickness of the LTE model should be 9.34mm. This could mean one of two things: RadioShack actually will have two models of the Galaxy Nexus, and they happen to list the HSPA+ model thickness; or like martonikaj said, just a poor copy-paste job from marketing material.

[Competition] Verizon to charge $2 convenience fee

http://phandroid.com/2011/12/28/ver...onvenience-fee-for-online-and-phone-payments/
Ouch, talk about bs.
Update:
http://m.engadget.com/default/artic...s-your-two-cents/&category=classic&postPage=1
It burns when I tapatalk...
From the article it looks like the fee is waived if you pay with ACH or are enrolled in Auto-Pay... Cell phone bills are one thing I like to pay manually, personally, but at least it's an option... I really wanted to stay with Verizon, but I didn't want to pay $10 more than Sprint for limited data... Even if the Verizon network blows away Sprint's out here.
I don't blame them.
They have to find a way to continue to pay all those technicians all that overtime to go out and fix that ultra-superior-reliable-never-breaks-except-more-than-every-other-carrier-combined LIGHTENING BOLT network.

Not even the same. Sprint is charging folks that keep detailed billing with paper bills. Verizon is charging folks just to pay their bills online.

It's really sick how these "news articles" are so biased.
Verizon didn't change their decision based on customer opinion, they did so because the FCC was getting involved

NFC - Google Wallet Info

I have a friend who lives in Singapore & he mentioned that they have to get a different SIM card from their carrier to enable NFC payments.
So I called T-Mobile & the representative looked it up. The option is available from T-Mobile but only in Utah & Texas.
So take it with the usual "he said she said" grain of salt. But thats what I was told.

Such a stupid policy. Blocking built in Google services to make money from their own, inferior products. Makes me bummed
Interesting!
Is this something that could/would be bypassed by a custom ROM? Or is it hardware related?

You can only use 3 different types of cards, in either Salt Lake City Utah, or Austin Texas.
Google Wallet allows you to use any type of credit or debit card at any location that has a wireless payment system.

yes. Sprint is non existent and Verizon is just as bad as AT&T. and Im not talking only booster mode, im talking the locking bootloaders, unlocking phones, prices, bloatware... and your typical carrier practices.
Here are the T-Mobile settings in comparison... Looks like the differences are:
Wifi calling
Car mode
Download booster
Att probably need the extra room for the excessive amounts of bloat apps they pre-installed. 2 pages of crappie apps I'll never use and have to void my warranty to get rid of.
