[Q] Aluminum case?

Looking around for a case I found this aluminum PDair case
Looks pretty good to me.
Buuut, being a new member, I can't post the link, unfortunately.
Does anyone have any past experience with aluminum cases that they could share?
I'm between this one, the case mate tough case, and that black tpu hybrid case everyone is going crazy about.
I feel secure with my Pdair. No reception problems. I have a thread with a little more detail in accessories.

The case looks great. I have a few questions though. I had a cheap ebay TPU case that I was using. I liked the feel of the case but I had a really hard time pushing in the power and volume rocker buttons. So, I decided to switch to the Otterbox Impact case. I like this case as far as the button access goes but it attracts a lot of lint which I don't care for.
So on this Rearth case, is it easy to press the power/volume buttons? How about lint? Is this more like a silicone case that will attract dust or a TPU case that doesn't.
Awesome review by the way!
Purchased a Rearth case and I can say is this is a great case. Doesn't take away from the Evo style and the feel is nice. The color I purchased was the Slate Gray. Worth every penny.
Is this a silicone case? Does it grip your inner pocket material and pull your pockets inside out and all the lint with them when you pull it out??
just got mine the other day, I like it a lot. Fit/finish are great and no it doesn't attract lint at all.

[Q] Top 3 cases?

Had this question in my post in General and while I got some great answers to the other questions but so far nothing on this one. Figured I would make a separate topic specifically about this and see what it comes up with.
What would you all think are the top 3 case options that are available?
I personally like the SGP ultra slider for the i9000 but it fits on the vibrant. I will post pictures up tomorrow.
I'm really liking the Case-Mate Barely There. It doesn't bulk up the phone like most of the cases out there.
It all depends on what youre looking for in a case.
If its protection:
Otterbox Commuter
Case-mate Tough Case
Trident Cyclops Case
This works just great for me. Brought 5 of them for the price....just in case. Been using the the first one I put on since I got the vibe in October when it was released. At the time it was only $.98!

I second that!
Does the Barely There case come out much in the front to help protect the screen from a front face drop? It is hard to tell in the video on their site. What do you think?
Thanks.
I have the Korean anycall mesh case and I really like it. My only complaint is the"Galaxy S" on the back is gold instead of chrome to match the trim on the phone.
Since it's OEM, it fits nice and doesn't add much bulk. It also adds a nice feel with the holes and the plastic material.

Not really, if you want a good case to protect your phone from drops you want a bit bulkier case like the Trident Cyclops or the CaseMate Tough Case. I personally use the Casemate Tough Case and couldn't be happier.
+1 on the mesh case

I think one of the most popular cases is the "hybrid tpu case". The is a larger thread about it in this section. I love the case, it provides awesome protection and a good heft to the phone.

GSII Rugged Case?

I am looking for a rugged case for my GSII. I recently got the otterbox commuter case. I love otterbox but was a little disappointed when they did not release the defender case for the device. Has anyone run across a rugged case for the GSII? I tried the Case-mate tough case but honestly feel like the otterbox commuter has better protection. Thanks in advance for any leads!

I heard somewhere that they are bringing out the defender case soon. This seems to be ok I guess.

i use this one... pretty good case!
I got the casemate tough case. Seems good to me.
There are a couple threads on this already. I just posted replies to two of them regarding the same question.
My answer was metal case. find taurus / sweet armor / akiba slider for galaxy s2.
If you're looking to protect the back as well perhaps the two layer plastic cases may work? or frosted matte TPU/silicon cases are pretty good too as they are very form fitting (no gaps like old silicon case)
Using the casemate tough now for one month. On-screen i got the martin fields protectors.
Case gets 10/10 stars for my purposes. Phones been dropped couple of times now without damage!
Can strongly recommend the casemate tough!
greets
You could try OTTERBOX, and have a look to this thread and ask your qustion ;-)
