[Q] Noob - HELP Android Market you did not paid for it error - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

A co worker copied a root explorer apk to my phone, I installed it but my conscious got the best of me as I do not believe in stealing so I decided to buy it but I can't buy it because it says already purchased. Any way to correct this?

Did you try deleting the original apk and then try purchasing? Not sure if it will work or not.

I did and it didn't work. Last time I listen to that co worker.....

Well, you could contact the maker of the app and explain the situation. Maybe pay for it through PayPal or something.

Yeah I would contact the maker of the app and explain what happened.
Honestly ... I didn't pay for root explorer at first either... I got it from someone else as well..BUT I loved it so much I deleted it and paid for the real one... ( I like to do it this way if the creator of the app doesn't offer a trial version)
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk

U just need to uninstall it. If its installed to your system then you need to use root explorer to delete data and cache of the apk then delete the apk in system and reboot

nope it's locked in
it's a known issue with Google Tech support for Android Market
it's permanently burned into your account
they have no way to fix it yet
it also happens with other LEGIT Apps from Amazon and Getjar
i opened a complain ticket several days ago

I had the same with an app I had gotten from the Amazon market, but it hasn't been getting updates there, but has on the Android market. Well the Android market had it on sale for ten cents, so I tried to buy it there and have not been successful. I haven't really tried hard to get it though.

Please let me know when and if you get a response AllGamer. Thanks for everyone's input.

Uninstall it, clear all your caches, and go to your application settings & wipe data for the market. That usually works for me.

N64 app

What happened to it? I paid the $5 a couple of weeks ago and loved playing with the emulator. I wiped my phone and started with a clean slate and a new rom. I went to go redowload the app and its no longer in the market. I'm not sure if this is allowed, but if someone could post the apk to n64oid if you have it, that would be great!

The reason why the n64 emulator is not on the market is because the developer of the emulator took it off the market because he didn't want any bad ratings

i believe it will be back up in about 2 months.
but he is doing fixes to it so its not a buggy beta.
(prays CM7 team doesn't do that)
I do have the apk but i believe under XDA rules we cant share it because if i believe the term is right Warez?
Aww man, I didn't find anything wrong with it. I didn't know if you were allowed to PM me the apk since I have bought it in the past? If not, are you still able to look up the developers email address?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
I don't recommend you even ask someone to PM you the .apk, since it could still be considered requesting wares which would earn you an infraction.
Also, if you already bought the app I suggest you try contacting the developer and try to work something out.
Is it still warez if I have bought it?
*edit* I don't mind contacting the developer, but I can't even do that since I don't have his email and its not listed in the market...

hope he replies.
i know it sucks when losing a app you paid for.
do you happen to have the "shoot me " app for a screen shot of your market? may help sending it to him to show you paid?
I will hit the thanks button when I have access to a computer
It doesn't even show in my apps I bought section of the android market, so I can't take a screen capture. Only way to prove is to show a screen shot of my bank account. But even then, I don't think it shoes which app I bought

Any idea how? I'm looking through my orders on the Android Market website, and it's not showing up - I presume because the app is no longer on the market. I can't find a section on the site to show billing history or something of that nature.

Nevermind, I found out how. You don't actually look for it using the Android market, you have to go to www.checkout.google.com to look up your billing history. Anyway, here's my proof in case any doubts were raised

U shouldn't post that picture

Just got this reply from the developer. Great guy!
A great number of users are complaining about the compatibility and running performance. Considering the bad ratings, I temporarily unpublished N64oid. I am doing a rewrite of some of the core modules. Don't worry, N64oid will be back much better in a month. And of course you won't have to pay for it again.
Attached is the apk file.
Thanks for the understanding! I won't let people down.

[Q] Amazon Appstore and Google Marketplace keep fighting over updates

Hey, guys.
I downloaded some free apps of the day from Amazon's Appstore that now cost money. However, Google's Marketplace sees that I have that app and there's an update for it but I can't download it. So, right now it just sits there under my apps claiming to have an update. However, since I didn't pay for it through Google Marketplace, it wants me to pay for it before I can update it.
Is there anyway to fix this to let Google Marketplace be where I update all of my apps? OR is there anyway to make Google Marketplace know the app I got from Amazon is paid for and I'll update it through Amazon?
For example, I have CardioTrainer free version through Amazon. Google Market will update the app, but then Amazon will re-download an update for it. Then Google will then say there's a new update for it. And then Amazon will re-download an update for it. So, the updating just goes in circles here. Help, please. Thanks!
can amazon apps. stick with the original marketplace. what is the benifit of getting it from the amazon app store insted? do you like drm?
I'd estimate 90% of amazon app store users only have it for the free paid app of the day, lol.
OP: I've never had an issue with Android Market fighting with Amazon app store. Don't download the same app from Android that you get from Amazon. Just let Amazon maintain the apps you buy/get free from them.

I already told you: The free app of the day.
Although, you can call me a cheap bastard, I suppose, and tell me to just buy the freakin' app on Google Marketplace. So, there's that.
Happened to me as well. I booted into cwm and wiped cache and dalik cache and issue went away.
are you getting ther market to request update but not amazon. Thats my issue. Market says update available amazon doesn't but through market I always fail to install.
Clearing cache and dalvik didn't help me . Thanks for any more help.

Its going to happen sometimes when one had a newer version then the other. Not much we can do to change it.
I don't think that this has ever happened to me, and I have like all of the free app of the days (although not all of them installed).
I guess what somehow happened is that they got attached to the Android Market. You can detach them using Titanium Backup. Just long press on the app and it will give you the option. I'm not sure if it works in the regular version; I have the pro version.

How about not necroing a 9 month old thread over a reply that added no value to the topic. Let it die.

Won't let purchase apps or do in-app purchases

I know there is someone who has encountered this problem. I know its mostly Google's retarded faulty programming that is causing this and I've Googled it and I still can't find a solution. I cleared data and cache, reboot it, accept terms, yet when I try to buy an app, I still get the same problem. I've had this happen before. I'm on the OTA Gingerbread Plus ROM.

Goto ur Google account on PC & make sure it sees ur device

I did and under dashboard it shows my device under"Android device"and I'm still having the same problem. I can't even purchase a comic through the Marvel app

I have to ask, is a valid credit/debit card attached to your Google account?
Is it possible your bank halted purchases stemming from the android market?
I have two, but when I try to set the other in default I have the same problem. However when I purchase from there actual website I can do that. I would be ok with that if it weren't for the in app purchases

I tried uninstalling the market updates, but I'm still having the same issue. I even created another gmail account and added my cards and I'm still getting the issue. Could it be the ROM or my phone?

Most likely rom, what aru running.
Maybe try reflashing gapps?

I think it might be the ROM. I talked to Android Market support. And I was able to sign in on my mom's phone and bought an app. Here is the ROM I'm using.

Yep its the ROM. I went back to the regular OTA gingerbread backup and I didn't get the error message. I'm going to see if there is a solution to the ROM I want to be on though
Sent from my ADR6300 using xda premium
Gotcha, glad you were able to figure it out. If it helps, you should contact Jermaine151 and let him know of your issue. I want to say that was an anomaly since Stock Plus is a popular rom.
All in all, glad the issue is resolved.
Well it will be when I get the market he'll put in the post so I can flash it. But I'm glad its not my phone lol

Try to go to settings, then applications, manage applications, market, clean cache, erase data, forced closed market. Then go to recovery, delete or clean cache partition, clean dalvick cache, fix permissions. Then reboot and google play should be working after that. Hope this can help you.

Any chance they're apps from the Amazon app store? Those show up as Purchased in my Play, but I can't load them. I have to load them from the Amazon app store instead. I break the market link using an app such as Titanium Backup or Ultimate Backup so they won't show up. If that's the situation, clearing market data makes them show up again.
