Qubits Snap-on Case - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

This is the Qubits Snap-On case for the GSM Galaxy Nexus.
This does not fit the Verizon LTE version.
It is very similar to the Incipio Feather and the Case-Mate Barely There.
http://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-RUBBE...9UWU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1324590852&sr=8-4
The case fits perfectly and is very snug. The case has a rubberized coating on the inside and outside of the case. There is a small lip on the front of the device for minimal lay-on-the-table design. The side edges are very smooth, but the top and bottom edges are a tiny bit rough. It isn't uncomfortable, and I don't really mind. With this design, the top and bottom are halfway exposed, but comparing with the Feather, it does cover more. The case is fairly thin, but not as thin as the Feather. Basically, this just gives me more grip to hold the phone.
It is only $8.90 with prime shipping, a great value IMO.
BTW I have a skinomi screen protector on at the moment, but will be applying XO Skins very soon.

Figure it was better than creating one in the "want to sell" forums for jusgt one case....Thanks guys...PM if u want this

I got it for only around $5 from Amazon. But after one or two days of usage I found it too slippery. I'm waiting for mesh case they provide more grip IMO

Is there gonna be any mesh cases available?

Atrix Leather Case.

Didn't really see anyone get something like this, so I ordered it and I'll review it once it gets here.

Leather case
I also ordered this armband, so i'll review that too.
Armband
Thanks for the effort here, and the expense put into it. I havent seen the arm band before - I have seen the leather cases, and have wondered how they fit and how well they protect. Looking forward to your reviews.... post up some pics too?
I have purchased 3 or leather holsters from ebay for my Atrix.
Still haven't found anything I liked.
Got the leather case (1st one) depicted today. It is a good case for being under $10, but I was disappointed when I overlooked the fact that it doesn't have a cut out for the power button / fingerprint scanner! I just cut one with an craft knife, but would not recommend the case because of that. Still waiting on the second one. (Should upload pictures soon)
The arm band looks interesting. Will the phone fit in it with case on like the otterbox commuter?

Kinda figured there wouldn't be a cutout for the power button/fingerprint reader based on the pictures of it. Though, i kinda find it funny that i can't seem to click on the different pictures on their page to get a better view. Unless it's just an issue with Chrome.
I'm actually quite a fan of Pure.Gear's leather snap-on case. At first i wasn't sure about it... but after using it... it's quite nice. slippery enough to slide into your pocket... yet enough grip that when holding it, it doesn't feel like it's going to slide out of your hand. fair bit thicker than the other snap-on cases made by Pure.Gear...

Incipio feather?

Anybody try the Incipio feather case yet?
Review?

Thanks!
I've had mine for about a month now, maybe a little longer, and I absolutely love mine. It gives quite a bit more grip, and it doesn't add much added volume at all. It's quite durable and I like how the black blends right in (I have the black obviously). Got mine off of Amazon I believe. The front has a very small lip on it to protect the face, and it's just thick enough to protect the camera as well.

from the pictures it appears as thought the corners of the phone are completely exposed. can you confirm this? last thing I need is a big chunk out of the corner after I drop it
I examined the pictures as closely as I could and decided against this case for exactly that reason. I'm going to try a case-mate barely there case. It looks very similar but after looking at some Youtube reviews it looks like it has more protection for the corners and a bit more for the top and bottom of the phone.
Here are some pictures in pink for high contrast.

Case-Mate:
I ordered the Case-Mate in black. I will take some pics and review once it arrives.
Here's a video review I saw:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gLaPnLw7-w
Not sure if anyone is still contemplating this case, but I just picked one up since US Cellular is now carrying them for their Galaxy S2 phone (it's the same as ours).
Anyways, the case is istantly my new favorite. Very low profile design and makes the phone a lot easier to hold. The pictures from the Incipio website are very misleading about how the corners are protected. I will try and post some pics a little later...
I bought one within days of picking my phone up. Have bought a TPU and silicone case. This is by far my favorite. I have the white E4GT and the black Incipio looks bad ass on it.
Want it even lighter? Take off the battery door and then put it in your feather...

Leather pouch for use with tpu case

Can anyone verify any horizontal leather belt clip cases that will work with a tpu case? Had this setup on my last phone and was mint got nearly two years.

I have the same setup.
Via eBay I purchased this case and it's a very good fit but a tiny bit loose.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAP...&sspagename=STRK:null:IT&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042LM6QY/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00
This is what I'm using currently - the belt loop is surprisingly strong and versitle - I'm more used to a clip and was originally going to purchase the clip for this if the pouch wound up working well but the clip is completely unnecessary in this case!
I went with this one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003XKS4WA/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00
Purchased it in September of 2011. Works well with a TPU case. Clip holds up well, and it also has additional two belt loops. It's large enough that I can even squeeze a little mini keyboard in (elastic on the sides) but it fits almost perfectly just the E4GT with TPU case.
someone at a yardsale fleamarket kind of thing has those REIKO cases and they had one that FIT my GSII "INSIDE" its hybrid hard/silicone case !! like a freaking glove. like it was freaking designed for it !!
and he only got one (my brother) I was going to eat him on the spot for that!
so now I have to stalk the fleamarket and hope the guy comes back and has more of them
Will any of these fit with a Ballistic case? I don't like carrying it in my pocket.
any vertical pouches?
I use this one with a TPU case. I thought the fit was very well.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0044WJUDS/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00
I purchased the case jrodd suggested and I am pleased with it. It fits well with a tpu case or a light hybrid case. It would probably be to lose with no case at all. I am using this case I purchased off Ebay with it and am very happy with it.

A new case for my galaxy s3

I want to buy a new case for my galaxy s3. I think will buy the case from ebay. I am looking for a strong case. I want a case that even if the galaxy will fall on the floor it won't be scratch or any breaks.
I heard about case mate though, speck and more cases but I don't know which is the best. I don't need any special uses.
If it's drop protection you want
My top 3:
Griffin Survivor (my current case)
Trident Kraken.
Otterbox Defender.
I'd stay away from eBay, knock offs are more common there. Just my personal preference.
Just a side note, any case that provides top of the line drop protection will add bulk. But if your like me and prefer a little bulky then your good.

Urban Armor Gear hands down the best case I have owned check it out in the thread in here around the top tons of pics and info there.

Yup IMO, UAG gives the BEST overall protection with the SLIMMEST design.
Thank you very much. I think I will buy the UAG case but where can I buy it in good price? I need a shop that send to Israel.
Before you decide to get the uag at least look at the puregear dualtek, it's a sweet case and the best one I've ever used. There's a thread here with a review of it. I personally think its a better case than the uag.

Waterfield Designs Slip Case

I just received my Waterfield Designs Slip Case for the Nexus 7. It's an incredible slip case of very high quality. I am a minimalist when it comes to cases, and so far I have been dissatisfied with the Moko Slim-Fit & Poetic Slimline cases I have received. The Moko is just too large, and it drives me nuts that it doesn't sit flat when opened. The Poetic feels cheaply made, and I don't like how difficult it is for me to remove it from the case. I also don't like the feel of the fake leather of the Poetic case.
I decided to try out a slip case, and found the Waterfield Slip Case. It's definitely more expensive than the other cases I've tried, but it is so pleasant to hold and use. The outside of the case is so soft to the touch, but extremely durable. The inside is extremely soft, and really does clean the screen when you remove it. The tablet fits very snug in it, but just snug enough so that when you hold it upside-down and shake it there is no fear that it will fall out.
Here are a few pictures I took, along with the video on their website discussing the slip case. I would highly recommend this at $27.
If you have any questions or would like some additional pictures, please let me know.

I recommend it!
I've been thinking about buying one of these. Don't mind the higher price considering they are made in San Francisco!
Would you mind measuring the thickness of the case when your nexus 7 is inside?

Click to collapse
It's a little tricky to measure the thickness, since the case is puffy. If I squeeze it flat (Sort of like it would be in my pocket), it's just under 5/8". If I let it sit normally on my desk, it's just over 7/8".
That's exactly what I needed, thanks!
