Steps :
First, u should have Odin Multi Downloader v4.42 for Gio & GIps v1.0.
Second, u should have Firmware DXKT4 (2.3.6)
U can get flash a firmware via Odin.
And, if u need about deodexing your phone,
u just install my file (autodeodexing) via recovery mode (not for CWM users, for xrecovery users only)

Well, I heard that they will update Ace in the summer of 2012 to ICS.
So I'm sure Gio will also get it, they came out at the same time with pretty much the same specs.

you just take a base rom and put the TW4.
maybe you should at least make something different from another ICS rom.
if the best part for this rom only TW4 than is has no attractive side because we can download TW4 by pawill here and flash it with any ICS rom...

If you read on the top of the tread you can see that this rom is a personalization of the AOSP rom Nexus Elite 6..(with a lot of different icons and animations nothing else.!! Next time i'll insert the tw inside that if you are not able to do that i'll do it!

Did you try the update yourself? I tried the official update, but it fails because it checks if you have the official recovery image. I have EOS CWM recovery, so it fails.
I thought about editing this script, but am not sure if all works..

have you try my file ?
official update can be done only in stok xoom. if you have some mod (CWM ... ) it fail. (there is a lot of tread on this)

I know the official will not work because of the check on the recovery version installed.

I posted a tip for you but got deleted on the rumble.Have you successfully got the rom unpacked and added su binary and superuser.apk?If yes,I could guide you to pack it up for you on any linux box
Or easy way is to upload it somewhere so that experienced can do the job.

You are trying to reinvent the wheel, instead of a thread and upload stock firmware and wait until it will make people in the know. I'm sorry but I have to admit that I don't understand your language fully.You mean you are uploading the rom to hotfile and need my help to root the rom and pack it up OR you want me to root,pack it up and then upload?
Either case,I would recommend you to upload the rom and leave rooting to some experienced guy for now.I'm not at my home city and I would give you a script when I'm back home.

That is a very old firmware.. problem was... this is a framework-res.apk from AMD6 ... so it will only be compatible with that

You can indeed use the old firmware you already have, but the latest one would be better, since you're already gonna flash something, flash the latest one, yes which is AMD6. Make sure you have the same device model as in the firmware name before flashing with Odin though.

Yes. You should, but make sure you backup a working system. Don't backup a bootlooping system or something like that (doh!)

u may have flashed it over odexed rom!! it is clearly mentioned it is only for deodexed roms!! temme which rom ur on? if ur on stock i ll make patch if anyother then please reflash rom!

it wont work i tried making a patch but it gave fc u may have to flash stock over again! there is a guide in general section search there
