Hello,
I want to change some icons on the notification bar, i'm running;
Android 2.3.7 - Cyanogen Mod 7.1.0 For Galaxy GIO
I would like to change the icon's of the battery status and such (3G WiFi etcc), the color of it and the type of icon, I've seen this website: UOT Kitchen
But I have no idea how this works, I would appreciate any help

Just use Theme chooser, you can modify framework and systemUI by yourself but its kind a dificult to decompile it, I never managed to get it work after editing

Is there anyway I can change the icons in my notification bar. I want to change the H to say 4G etc. Is there any tutorial or method that will also supply me with the links to download the icon files. Lease be as detailed as possible if you can help me. By the wayx can you leave the download links to the 4G icon file!? Thanks ahead!! I am using MIUI 1.5.27.1 (2.3.4)

Head over into the themes and apps section of this thread. There are icons to change the H for cm7 I know, but you can always compile your own icons for miui with the UOT kitchen.

Here is my personal battery mod and some icons like wifi in systemUI.

the mod is available in Clockwork mod(flashable through clockwork mod, dont forget to backup), dont forget, its your responsibility when flashing! shocker..
21/6-11 added CRT effects
22/6-11 added overscroll along with CRT (for custom ROMs, as overscroll dont work with stock roms odexed)
22/6-11 fixed all three cwm with fixed icons in systemUI.apk. removed files only
22/6-11 added deodexed cwm
23/6-11 added mod for VILLAIN ROM 1.4 with CRT EFFECT AND NEW POWER MENU!

Edit: Really nice icons, clean and simple. But the scrolling bar in the SMS app turned green(?). It's translucent gray in all other apps.
Edit #2: Would be nice with a version containing only the status bar icons and the battery percentage icon (without the green scrolling bar). På forhånd takk, gode nabo

Are you sure that you have KF2 ROM in your sgs2?

only battery is framework file only...
statusbar dissapear is often due to systemui named wrong or clean dalvik cache, search for it, many has this problem..

Theme Chooser, download themes from the market or on here. Transparent themes won't work unless you patch cm7 first though.

Never heard of patching it. Could you tell me how to do that?
a sick status bar will just be the icing on the cake for my wildfire.
I have tried apps like custom status bar and status bar + but neither offer what i want.
I'm sure i found an app that let me set wallpapers as the texture for the bar, but i cant remember which app it was

I'm running Deck's ICS Alpha 8 with Nova Prime on my Evo. Is there any way short of flashing a different ROM to make the notification bar's black background either transparent or not exist at all?

You should be able to change the transparency value of statusbar_background.png in systemUI.apk. I've done it easily on many roms. ICS is a little different when it comes to the systemUI but it should still work. I can try for you if you want just send me the systemUI.apk if need be

Thanks to Guich for the help, the locations and the code for VRTheme.

• Download the zip file and flash in recovery.

Im trying to get the white clock and translucent status bar. I downloaded Xblast but nothing comes to play when I reboot it.
I'd be great if the status bar would be transparent only on the home screen... Because everywhere else... It looks horrible...

Cant you make the statusbar transparent with gravitiybox?
Gravitybox worked for me. Though you need to enable it with Xposed Installer... otherwise it will not open.
