The mobile site. Does the browser not support the new format?

For me. If you go into settings and request desktop site. Then it comes out as the new mobile Facebook. I don't know why but that's just what happens for me

interesting...i show a similar facebook page, but with buttons for status/photo/checkin
changing to desktop version shows same exact page, also checked with dolphin browser. i'm using 4.0.3, so not sure if that is a browser fix or not, but its also possible is just an issue with facebook. their website is spread far around, different regions - different servers; they might not all be updated, or could be testing features on a small set of users
EDIT: i think i know what you mean, you type facebook.com, but it redirects to 'm.facebook.com'? if thats the case, its supposed to do that. if you have the option 'request desktop site' selected -before- you type facebook.com it will show the browser version. if you have already been redirected to m.facebook.com, and then hit desktop site, it will only reload the same mobile page....but once that 'request desktop site' option is selected, type 'www.facebook.com' again, and you'll see the whole site

Can someone test a mobile website for me?

Hey, can anyone with a HTC Sense based and stock Android rom visit http://digiex.net on there mobile and post a screenshot of what the main page looks like (using the stock browser).
I run the MIUI rom and the mobile version of a site i run does not render correct at all in the default browser (think its Miren) yet it works perfectly in Opera Mobile.
Just wondering what it looks like in the stock browsers as i guess thats what most people will use.
Thanks to anyone who can help me out, it would be a big help!

myAT&T app not compatible on GN?

Android market doesn't even show that there is myAT&T app .. and market through web browser says app is not compatible with GN.
Anybody having the same issue or is it just my GN? I am on 4.0.1 stock.
Yep same issue too I was trying to find it the other day it doesn't show up in my market searches either.

Same here, I think it's because they don't like people using non-AT&T phones so they block any of their programs.

It worked on my N1. How do I extract the apk? (I'm rooted).
I'll post it here for your guys..
so I extracted the apk and installed it in my GN...
It doesn't work - you can log in, but as soon as you try to do something, a blank dialog opens. When you click ok, it brings you back to the login screen...

Cuz the app is not compatible with Android 4.0 yet.

Its nothing to do with att blocking, it is not compatible with ICS yet and lots of apps like HBO also don't show up on market.
I believe we should start seeing more ICS compatible apps in the coming months.

Twitter tweet box being covered by keyboard

This is only happening with 4.2.2 ROMs. As of now I am using Task650. What the problem is is that on Twitter when I compose a new tweet the box does not resize itself if the keyboard pops up. Is this a version error or an error with Twitter itself because of compatibility with newer versions of Android?

Twitter app issue.
Is this happening for anyone else on 4.2.2?

i'm pretty sure it will happen to everyone with stock rom as well.
it's the app issue, not the rom.
When you're done typing in the tweet box, hit the back button your phone for the keyboard to minimize. That work?

I think 4.2 itself is causing Twitter to have this bug. I went back to stock settings and Twitter is fine now

[APP]Google URL Shortened[][]

I found this earlier 2day so thought I'd share for everyone. Especially for those that post multiple links!:good:
Released 3-02-14 enjoy
Look HERE»»»http://goo.gl/7H2fJZ
Google's long had an excellent option for shortening URLs*— goo.gl. Now it has a slick Android app to go along with it. Thomas Devaux rolled out the aptly named "Google URL Shortener" this morning that's as easy to use as it is functional.
The app syncs into your Google account, so you have access to any short URLs you've previously created (and you can get analytics on other goo.gl URLs as well). Short URLs can be starred for easy access — and creating new short URLs is as simple as pasting the full resource into the app.
Once you've created a new short URL, you can quickly and easily share into any app from your notifications. (Or if you prefer, change the settings to immediately copy the short URL to the clipboard, show a dialog or just do nothing.)
It's pretty feature-rich, free, and designed for smartphones, and 7- and 10-inch tablets. Definitely give this app a look-see.

Exactly!!! that's why I deleted the other APP I had. Copy to clipboard something. This one works much better to me. And gives you statistics on who clicked your links.

Permission disabler

Hello all I am not sure if this it's the right place to post this, but I was wondering if anyone knew or knows of any way to disable permissions for an app. My reason being there's a rise in apps with permissions they have no business having. Facebook messenger for one, scanner radio and many more. I fear that trying to disable certain permissions without properly breaking an app down might break it,like not let u run it. I know this is a stupid subject but if anyone can shed some light on this situation it'd be much appreciated thank you

Depending on the ROM you can usually be fine disabling permission you genuinely find intrusive. For instance on vanir...
