just thought i would post this up in case anyone doesnt know....
Got my SGS2 this morning... and instead of connecting to the games hub and getting some games from there... i just opened my internet browser on the phone and put gameloft in the search box...
It took me to a gameloft wap site where it recognised my phone and offerd around 10 games for a quid each..
So far i grabbed Sparta , spiderman mayhem, dungeon hunter , modern combat 2 black pegasus,
Had to get lets golf 2 though through the game hub as that wasnt listed... paid £3 for that :0(
hope this saves a few quid for someone

Yeah i did, worked ok for me... Has anyone actually got Modern Combat running?
Ok well I just downloaded the game and it worked... I played a quick round... Then I closed it down...now when I go to restart the game I get the 'Force Close' error!

OK this is rather annoying!!!
For those who can't get Modern Combat 2 to work.. Try holding the Home button and selecting the game from the pop up window...
Its the only way the game seems to work for me..!! If I select it from anywhere else including home screen,, then I get 'force close'..

me eather just rip off cant get them working had to do force close,oh well lucky was £3 and not £9,uninstalled and deleted them,garbage,thats why they were cheap

Yeah I only got the game because it was only £1...
but you should ask for a refund if the game does not work for you at all.. drop Gameloft an email.. they will get back to you.
hey don't say it's garbage, gameloft games are the best out there for android (in terms of graphics), so yes, they should work, I have 8 Gameloft Games on mine, all working. I don't know, reboot and try again. Or maybe reinstall, I don't know.
If still doesnt work, ask for a refund. Cheers

Uninstall and then reinstall the game. It will solve the issue.
It plays pretty well too - though I am still hooked on Order & Chaos.

keeps on crashing for me.. (i use chainfire 3d with the Nvidia plugin) and it runs for a little while.. but when it gets to the game it just crashes .
any ideas?
Err... My phone is getting very hot at 41C for playing 15 minutes only. And battery dropped 15% too.

You don't need Chainfire with the latest version. Just download from the Marketplace and it should run without any issues.

Why would you need to use a plug-in when the GS2 is natively supported?

Nope, it is working fine on stock ROM. But too hot.

How to produce less heat on SGS2...
Downclock your CPU to 800mhz (Runs smooth, maybe loading time is slower by 1-2seconds) aswell as undervolting it. This defiantly made my phone from hot to warm this is with 70/80% screen. Although I prefer 50% if im out travelling !
heat produce and battery drops is normal , so please do not be frightened!
will rise to about 50 degree celuis and drop battery like droping water.
A plugins is not required so do not do things too much.I am using 1Ghz to play and smooth enough.
it's VERY HOT after 15 mins playing. uncomfortable.

I was trying to play a game the other day whilst my girlfriend was over. She has an S3 and got annoyed so somehow started playing music on my tv with a click of a button on her phone. I was pretty amazed at the technology, even though I was more annoyed at the fact I conceded in my game. I have tried searching for information on the feature but haven't found much. Is there anything I can do to go about doing this with my HTC One X? Videos would be great too. Sorry if this is a silly or already answered question.

Go to the song hit options ,hit select player ,and you can play song via WiFi or bluetooth.

This is really driving me crazy!
Nexus 7 Stock room.. when i start the game after licence chek it crashes..
reinstalled several times but dosent work
i tested it on JB 4.1 and 4,2,1 stock room N7 16GB wifi
with and without root
even did did a factory reset
contacted gameloft but no answer.
it works great on my Note 2.. But i bought the game for the N7 since its my "gaming" unit.
any one with same problem?

No problems here. Try uninstall and reinstall, if that fails try starting it with WiFi turned off.

the game requires an active internet connection when starting, so if you dont have internet, you cant play.

Did you tried to remove "/android/data/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftM3HM" and "/android/obb/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftM3HM" folders and re-download the content?
On my N7, MC3 work flawlessly.

Nope .. Support told me to wait.
That uppdates will come and fix it.
And they gave me a free game "Nova 3" Wich dosent work either lol
Same ****.. install then download data .. and when game starts it shuts down
so i gave upp for now :S

how do u do that? does the game have to start and go into a menu to change the language ? i keep reading this and people say it works but i fear since mine doesnt open i cant do it?..also i saw people talking about using something called twingo changing the language but cant find it anywhere..but i see people with galaxy nexus on 4.2.1 saying the game runs just fine for them..so how come it doesnt for me?..mine crashes on checking license and never starts it just goes back to homes screen it has been doing this to me since android 4.0.4. i bought this game 6.99 and havent played it since!

U change the Hole phone language setting.. i Changed to UK and works.

Still doesn't work, I changed the whole language to English UK (nexus7) it still crashes! Please help!
I found another solution : you had to pull down the notification center while the game is loading and verifying your license...wait and see...it works for me !
Can't believe no one's put this up yet! Figure I'd step up. I'd like this thread to follow some kinda format. I'm open to suggestions but i was thinking that we should list what games we enjoy playing (and by definition obviously work) and then maybe also list any you know are NOT working. It might also be helpful to include what rom you're on and any kernels or other tweaks you've installed since i know some games "break" on some custom kernels/tweaks (like final fantasy dimensions stops working when i install some xposed tweak--not sure which one tho) Ill start off:
I'm playing Dead Trigger 2, final fantasy dimensions, modern combat 4, fpse (PlayStation emulator), myboy (gba emulator), nostalgia.nes pro (NES emulator), temple run, fluid se, shadowrun, Dragon quest 8, lost toys, 9th dawn, symphony of the origin, and alphadia genesis.
Amazingly, i still have like 17bgbs of space--not to mention like 20 gbs on my external sd card.
I'm always on the lookout for new games, especially rpg's so if you have any good recommendations, let's hear them.
Almost forgot, deus ex is NOT working for me (major bummer) i already emailed the dev, but yeah, good luck with that...lol.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance still is one of my all time favorite games, and i never played this new one. Its pretty much all i need. Amazing story, great dialogue, interesting politics, engaging gameplay... but occasionally ill play something else =P
I have Wipeout Pure working too, but kind of slow..

U know, it's so weird. I've just never been able to get into strategy games. I must have some kind of block.
I play a few games and hack them as well. Dungeon defenders second wave. Is one of my all-time favorites and it plays well on g3 with amazing graphics.
I love playing real Racing 3 but its not compatible with the G3 yet...
To those who didnt know, but the G3 does support the PS3 Dual Shock controller also.
So if your into FPS like me and cant get use to the on screen controls, you can plug the PS3 controller to the G3 via micro usb and the controller is recognised right away.
I use this set up for all my FPS games and Sonic games and emulator games.

Hey all. Thanks for the replies. I'm wondering, has anyone here ran deus ex WITH xposed installed along with a couple of modules (app settings and tweakbox) i disabled hw overlays but still, it crashes when i click "play" or "options." it really sucks cuz i love that game but i also love my customizations. Guy on last page said he had it running but he's not using any xposed stuff.
Is the psp emulator laggy on this phone?
