[Q] Battery percentage for SmartDroid 3.1-S - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

There is a download link from the SmartDroid thread in the development section for the battery percentage indicator in the status bar (I believe) and I was hoping someone could give me some detailed instructions as to how to apply it. I have seen instructions of how to apply similiar modifications for other ROMs before but never specifically for a SmartDroid ROM. I am running the Stock version of SmartDroid 3.1. Thanks in advance.
The thread that the download link is in is:
[ROM] SmartDroid 3.1|1.14.709.2|Sense 3.5|2.3.5|S and T versions
The link is on page 25, 5th post down.

DL it, put to SD card,
Flash via recovery.
Done.

Is it that simple? Nothing else needs to be done? Also, is it reversible?

Fantastic. Thx

[THEME] For any ROM. Yup, any single ROM.

So if your like me and like to change the theme's of your phone this is literally the website to do it!
uot.dakra.lt/kitchen <---- Copy/Paste that in your address bar.
It's a theme kitchen and it works on any phone, any ROM, and any version of Android (2.2 , 2.3)
-----------
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. I'm not at fault here, they even have a Youtube video on how to do it.
Sorry guys, let me lay things straight before confusion and cyber authority kick in, I DID NOT CREATE THIS KITCHEN. I give ALL credit to the person who put their life into it, please donate to them.
I just saw this on the internet and wanted to share with the XDA family!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay guys, some of you are having trouble with the kitchen, I'll just break down the instructions:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Whatever ROM your CURRENTLY using, open it and find the Framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk
{Remember, it'll only work with your current ROM, flashing it to another ROM will send you in a never ending boot, because I've done that, anyways, if you change ROMS, you need to re-cook the whole theme with your new current ROM's APK's}
2. Choose your selections, generate previews and what not
Froyo ROMS do not support transparent ANYTHING so do not select it. If your on a Gingerbread ROM then your good and you can check 'enable transparency in status bar' in the Status Bar section
3. Upload your APK's in correct order in the 'File Upload' category
4. As soon as step 3 has been performed, go to 'Summary' and hit 'Submit to Kitchen' If a category is red simply go back and generate the preview
5. If you get an error log in the 'Pickup' page, I don't know what happens so sadly you have to go re-cook your ROM again.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guys this should work like a charm with little to no trouble, I'm young and did this with a breeze.
Happy Theme-ing everybody!
Screen shots please =]

Thanks for the link man!!!! I just went and tried it out, and tweaked some things on a theme I have already now it's lookin really sweet!!! Thanks again!
@G1rome....It is a site so you can make your own custom themes, no screen shots available.

Great find and thanks for sharing it in the G2 community, best way to theme a rom with your own personal preferences.
I gave this a try, seems easy & straightforward to use. However, do you have to make a donation in order to submit your created theme to that kitchen?

No you don't have to make a donation.
UNLOCK OUR BOOTLOADERS
Will this work with stock rom.
@cubanito151 If you follow the instructions carefully it will.
It works on all roms.
Anyone else having issues with the mods sticking? I only did the battery icon mod and it worked at first but now its gone and back to the stock look.
This is pretty lame that its not sticking and reverts back to the old battery icon.

@TL24
What ROM are you using?
And when will it not stick? When you do a reboot?

[REQUEST] Gingerbread Animations

I have updated to the deodexed official Verizon 2.3 update for the Incredible 2.
I see no glow when over-scrolling or CRT Sleep animation. Is there any way for me to get these things without installing a new ROM, I would rather not flash a Stock ROM. I don't use Sense but I like some of the HTC enhancements especially in the clock.
I just got the ota update from verizon. Software version says 2.3.3 now, however I don't have the screen off animation that I thought would come with 2.3

screen off is a edit that a Dev must add in.. green overscroll is a theme edit.
I have noticed that the CRT animation is a flashable zip on the Desire HD (on ARHD rom). Would the same thing be possible here? Thread link below. It is in second post.

I dunno... but guess who's about to find out?
NoClue....
Like I said it's a hack a DEV must look into. There may be an app in the market that will allow for it, but I'd just get on the CM7 train. great ROM.

How do u remove sense 3 lockscreen I tried ticking android stock but still.have the sense 3 lockscreen

If you want the 2.1 lockscreen, a flashable zip was posted on the IC thread. I have that mod working on my phone unfortunately I'm not in front of my computer to give you the exact link.. It was quite a while when it was posted but is on the thread itself. Just do a search on the thread.

Note: think this is only for version 1.1.3
Think what you are trying to find is here: http://www.mediafire.com/?34oo489d9roqf#0,1
then go into a folder called "murzick_addons_for_113".

virtuous 2.0.0 battery icon

Hey there. I post this question here, because i'm unable to do it in virtuous 2.0.0 forum . Is it possible to change battery icon to the stock one? On the rom's forum i've read that with rom toolbox, but this app wants me to pay ;p
The easiest thing to do is to use UOT Kitchen. For battery icon it is real esy

create a filed called "use_stock_theme" in your "virtuous_sense" directory on your SD card, then reflash the ROM (without wiping anything). The file doesn't need any contents, it just needs to exist.

Battery % Indicator?

Is there something that I can flash to get a percentage indicator on the GNex? I do NOT want to run a ROM, and am on LTE 4.04 stock rooted...
Have done a search, nothing comes up for this phone.
Thanks!
Don't know if this applies to Stock 4.04 but here is a link to the topic
/edit: I read up a little on this topic, and as I understand it you can NOT do this on a stock ROM. It needs to be a DEODEXED ROM.
/edit2: And i figured this out by doing search
Thank you for the link. I searched the ROM and Q&A forums, forgetting the Theme section.
Yes i am complete stock but flashed a custom systemUI that gives batt percentage and transparent status bar.
Which one did you flash? Sounds interesting

I flashed the one from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1409540&goto=newpost
But not from the first post. I asked for one would work for me stock 4.0.1 and he posted it somewhere in the middle of the thread. He replied to my quote with a link. Thats the one worked for me.
Tip: i had to delete my systemUI odex file after i flashed.
