Hey guys, I reached out to the dev's of MIUI SwAT and they allowed me to port this to the NS4G

I can't download apps unless connected to wifi

-What I've been doing is Toggling the USB Storage option in statusbar, then immediately press the back button. For some reason the launcher will reset but the phone doesn't reboot. Reading some logs I just ran I'll see what I can find
My GPS is not working
-Open up GPS Status, press Menu hard button, open "Tools">Manage aGPS Status>Download

Looks like you are! And I've tried a lot of stuff to get the Market issue resolved, but like I stated that is my number one priority and hope to get it fixes asap.

Looks like dev-host had some server issues for a second. Wait a lil bit and try again or try from a computer/laptop
I am downloading it now on my phone (4g) with Dolphin Mini and its working fine. 25% so far. Thanks Fergie!... EDIT....stopped at 56%

So if it's as simple as a swap let me know because I modded the DownloadProvider.apk but that didn't work. I grabbed one from a CDMA ROM (oICS) and it didn't work. So IDK gotta keep looking

I don't think it would really matter at this moment. Most themes are not compatible with ICS. I'll have a flashable zip by the weekend for some stuff
Yea that white font is annoying but not common. I looked for it before building the ROM but didn't find it

Going to try the other kernel and see if it straightens out the wifi. Themes did end up showing but said I needed wifi to download. It wouldn't connect so I will try our the other one. Thanks

Yea I'm hardly ever near wifi but I just so happened to be right now and I couldn't connect either. Eugene373's kernel will fix you up
Edit: added a link for eugene373's kernel. Make sure you flash it if you want wifi. Mirror is almost done uploading
Edit#2: Added mirror to post #2 (minus.com) should work if your trying to download from your phone and/or laptop

Great find! Absolutely hate that the default launcher does not put apps in alphabetically order. Been using an app called appzorter. This now fixes that.

You can also select which screen you want as homescreen! this is amazing really! this one is looking much better than touchwiz 4.5
You can't resize the widgets using this launcher though... Anyone know how?

This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone. I know you've seen tablet mode roms before, and indeed it's a start, but this ain't enough. This thing has potential, but it is wasted the moment you try to stuff a full blown tablet into your poor phone. Yet we all know our high res phones can very well handle more than silly 1-column layouts. So the magic must be in between somewhere, a place that Google must have overlooked and left blank.
Yes, this rom strives to drop your device into tablet mode, but it won't stop there, it will reshape and redefine ICS to make it all a usefull addition and not just a cute novelty. i'm calling it: Hybrid Mode, best of both worlds.

First ever Android ROM with Per-App-Density feature, it once and for all solves the problem that was tablet mode. You never, ever have to deal with apps that are too small again since now you can decide how apps, systemapps, framework-elements and even widgets are scaled by defining their native dpi seperately from the system DPI. Its an experimental feature and for now these values are defined in your /system/build.prop - it has drawbacks (maily notifications can look a bit strange), but that will be fixed in time. Warning: Keyboards MUST run in system DPI!
A list of apps and predefined values is included, this should include most of what you need. everything else is blown up to 210 dpi per standard. if you still need apps to be bigger, get a build.prop editor from the market, edit and reboot.

Please set your Font to "Normal" in the System Settings, you won't need "Huge" anymore and all this does now is provoke overlapping.

you can thank verizon for that... their CDMA binaries are proprietary
downloading now, can't wait to test it out
but dont be surprised, what you downloaded will not go into tablet mode by itself. look one post above you. its an easy fix though. if you don't know your way around root explorers and such, in a couple of minutes comes the fixed version. im really sorry for this mess, for gsm i always flash it myself but yeah ... what can i do, except maybe trying to be a bit more concentrated. : D

It works on 4G but I think its just issues with cm I believe ...sometimes a reboot is what it needs to work

Tried flashing and got a "failed, error executing binary script" also got a "failed trying to flash zip". Checked the md5 and it matches with the rom. Had this problem flashing MIUI v3.6.28. I'm on MIUI v3.6.21 with no flashing problem.
Everything is smooth but yeah MMS is not working

I am creating this thread to keep the official cm10.2 thread clean. Flash at your own risk and the other usual warnings

RIL (Calls, SMS, and MMS work but data is weird)
Bluetooth
Camera

Not Working:
Wifi (stuck searching for networks)

Battery Indicator

I had to do alot to get the camera and audio hal's to build... none of that is currently on git... I didn't keep track of the changes I made unfortunately... I'll post everything eventually
Instructions:
MAKE A BACKUP!!!!
WIPE DATA!!!
FLASH THE FILE!!!
IF YOU HAVE AN ERROR DURING FLASHING RESTORE YOUR BACKUP, UPDATE CWM, THEN GIVE IT ANOTHER SHOT!!!

I couldn't get it to flash from twrp, I'll try again tomorrow as could have not downloaded all the way from sprints less bars in more places network:sly:

You need a more recent CWM at the moment. TWRP isn't working as far as I know. (I'm also helping with the d2 advance in cm-11.)
Flashed cwm, flashed but no boot. I am using the new s3 that needs the fixed kernal for ROMs.

really? I have a new S3 as well and it booted just fine.
Where does it get stuck?
Wouldn't go past splash screen. Just sat. In fact I was having a difficult time restoring back from cwm.
I'll try again later and pull a logcat.

Did you clean flash it? Or did you try to flash over?
Yeah... Dirty flashing doesn't work... You have to wipe data or you bootloop at the bootanimation... Wipe all data

Yea, been so long since I used cwm forgot to wipe system. All is well. Giving a dead battery notification.
People are still flashing so can you confirm what works and what does not?

LTE was going, not as fast but was there. Ext SD not, displayed a dead battery with a percent of 14 million give or take lol. Didn't test WiFi cause that doesn't work for me at all, no matter what ROM. Text did, didn't test MMS. Calls went thru.
I couldn't mess with the printer option cause of no printer.
Oh, maybe just me, but the DPI seemed a little huge. Just didn't mess with build prop.
The plus side, this is surprisingly fast. No lag at all. For such an early build, did not get one hick up.
