[REQ] Transparent Power Control Widget - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hey everyone.
Was wondering if anyone could theme the Power Control widget to be transparent?
I'd use third-parties application but they are all limited with the GPS toggle going into the settings, so I'd like to be able the google one as much as possible, but the damn thing is fuggly sitting on my desktop.

I second that motion. Looking for a transparent power control widget similar to the stock widget.

I'd love to be able to change the transparency of the power control widget.

Try switch pro it's highly customizable and you can make it transparent https://market.android.com/details?id=alei.switchpro&hl=en

but the icon are old...not ICS icon!

this would need to be done within the Settings.apk, as that's what the Power Control Widget is a part of. in fact, i believe it's the appwidget_bg_holo.9.png within that apk.

Did the op ask for ICS themed icons? I just don't think these look that bad http://i54.tinypic.com/dwvsqe.png
And this similar ics version within switch pro you can alter colour to blue etc

I'm using https://market.android.com/details?id=at.abraxas.powerwidget and it has transparency and like it a lot

Here you go. Morph and MOD both attached. JellyBean Only.
Mod uses Settings.apk 4.1.1 from ParanoidAndroid 1.9.1 (CM10 Maguro JB)
The Modded APK may not work on any other ROM.The attached Morph is a better option.
To install the MOD, overwrite your file in /system/app/
Good idea to backup your /system/app/Settings.apk first.
Code:
adb remount
adb push Settings.apk /system/app/
Morph (the zip file) attached as well, Use Metamorph to apply and then reboot. How?
Enjoy!
Edit: Updated Morph, folder names are case sensitive in the latest metamorph.

Morphed and working great on Mmuzzy's latest 4.2 / Tiny's... Thanks for the hook up!

Location of the customize icon of HTC Sense

Hi,
i use the rom RCmix3d Runny v4.0.
It has a tweak that allows me to link an app to the personalize button that appears on the bottom bar of the home screen (next to the phone button).
So instead of displaying the personalize menu, it lauchnes an app.
My goal is now to replace the the icon to one that looks like this app.
I found the personalize icon in system/app/Rosie.apk/drawable-port-hdpi/personalize_on.png .
I replaced it and put the new Rosie.apk in the system/app directory using Android Commander.
After restarting Rosie, nothing looks different.
Did I do anything wrong?
Is there an other location that contains this image? I didnt find anything in SystemUI.apk, com.htc.resources.apk and framework-res.apk
Replaceing the png files worked for me when i changed the signal strength bar icon.
Have you tried looking in the launcher your using for the icon. I like the app drawer icon for ics so I got it from nova launcher then created my own icons with it.

Thats what I did. I use a Sense rom with stock launcher and thats the Rosie launcher. But somehow the icons and images are spread in a lot of apk files, for example Burgundy.apk (for the pink theme, but i cant find the one for the standard theme). I also tried to unzip all apks and search for personalize, but i didnt find anything.

Sorry could not help you there. That's how I was able to find mine unzipped niva and search the drawable folders. Found it in 48x48 and had to resize to 256x256 if I recall correctly.

[REQ] 14 or 15 toggle mod ??

Would love to see one of the dev's or themers incorporate the toggle mod somehow.
The stock toggles animation and lack of buttons I use is really annoying.
Here is a Euro SIII ROM with the toggle mod:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1705866
And here is Lidroid's original "how-to make the toggle mod" thread. It's for Gingerbread but may help someone anyways.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=18138093&postcount=1
In the T-Mobile section there is already a Rom with toggles. The red rum free gs3 one has it

i think he was talking about 14 or 14 toggles to be view in one line.
Sent from my SGH-T999
Specifically, I want Lidroid's toggle mod that is used in conjunction with the app "Quick Settings" which allows you to choose which icons/functions you want to display in the pull-down menu. It even offers a flashlight toggle.
So you can have all 14 or 15 toggle options in a straight line. And just slide them back and forth till you get the one you want.
Or if you're like me, you can edit so there are only two or three (or however many you want) toggles available.
Just like in this picture (seanscreamz's Skyrocket):

Yeah just like afb said above, FreeGS3 has this mod you guys are looking for...complete with the quick settings.

No kidding? I searched that forum before posting here, but didn't find anything.
Do you have a better keyword I can use for my search? Or maybe post a direct link?
I'm on ATT and ended up flashing the TMO RedRum ROM before going to sleep. It indeed has what I want. But it's broken. At least for me. The QuickPanel Settings doesn't remove most (or all) of the icons I told it to.
edit: I think this might be it.

Ahh, it's a known issue for RedRum ROM when using a theme on top of it.

FYI if you flash a theme over this ROM like ICS DOMINATION then EQS (Extended Quick Controls) will not work.

Thanks a Lot for all the support towards the work.
The status bar will only change in case of a MIUI Rom , and would never change in Stock ROM.

No issues Buddy. Other than the Status bar , you can use it freely like any other Launcher.
Hello people. I tried it on my FoxHound ROM. But I don't really like it so I uninstall it. Everything returns fine but for the lock screen I can't get back to my original one and thus screwing my lock screen. How now?

[APP] RAZR M Launcher and Circle Widget

Many of you having been asking me to post some flashable zips of the RAZR M launcher I modded for CSROM.
Well, I finally got off my lazy butt and did it (sorry for the delay!).
The launcher is from a different device (Motorola RAZR M) and different Android version (ICS), so there is a little lag.
But that is a small price to pay for the awesome circle widget!
There are currently two versions available: with and without the persistent search bar.
While I was able to remove the search bar, I have not yet been able to recover the real estate.
Six other apps are installed which are required to make the circle widget fully functional.

I know this may not be possible but I was just wondering is there a way you could possibly combine all the components of the clock widget into one zip file so one could just flash the clock instead of the whole launcher?

Just look in the .zip folder and remove the files you see from system/app.
Or you can restore the nandroid you should have made.
