Pay for it or wait on full s-off, or just be happy with unlock.

small question why do u need to change CID ?

The question is how not why or what for.
But just to have WWE CID HTC__001 instead T-MOB009.

S-ON after xtc clip

Hello,
S-ON is possible again after the S-OFF using xtc clip?
Thanks.
AFAIK you could use a RUU to get S-ON again.
Xtc clip does radio s-off. No way to revert back to s-on AFAIK.

How send command: [email protected]=7,1 ?

I think you have to do that via fastboot.
"C:\AndroidSDK\fastboot -c [email protected],1" ? Phone is in mode Hboot --> fastboot
?
Command "fastboot devices" is ok
hmm i think best method to S-ON is to flash a ruu. then cwm is removed and all security like h-boot etc. is S-ON and warranty is back but i haven't tried this
Install RUU S-ON not working after S-OFF with use XTC-CLIP

no running an RUU will just do exactly that, install the RUU.
XTC clip is perma S-OFF until you command the phone to S-ON..
has anyone tried,
adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices
fastboot oem writesecureflag 3

i believe this should work but you would need a fastboot enabled bootloader and the stock 1.01.0001 and .02 are not fastboot enabled :/ if i still had the device i would test.

2. my Ruu (fastboot getvar version-main) is 3.16, and i flash 3.14 ruu?
thanks in advance

endeavoru, it's s-off using special card.
Is it real s-off or do you mean an unlocked bootloader. A lot of people confuse these things easily

it's s-off with cid-111111
Nice !
lol.. so anyone can answer my question?
From what i have read earlier its not wise to run a ruu ! It seems that in some cases the ruu will write a CID and also makes the phone s-on.
afaik you can write yourself a cid, flash the matching hboot firmware and write the supercid back.
You can write a wwe cid for instance my cid HTC__E11 and flash the matching firmware to update to hboot 1.39.
Don't ask me how exactly, this is all info based on previous reading of some older threads.

You can flash anything you want, there is no limit.
Download the HBOOT you want and:
fastboot flash hboot ***.img
or
fastboot flash zip ***.zip
You could even flash a HBOOT not made for your phone, or a corrupted one, so be careful!
Just curious: where is that shop located?
No need to change the cid. Leave as super and flash any firmware. Best get 1.39 from mike's thread.
Super cid means you can choose anyone you like.
I'm not sure what an RUU would do to your s off. Not tried, but no need to risk it.
Interesting that there is a clip or something that can do it though.

thanks for all the response.
it's a local shop in shanghai, as i'm expad there these days and the shop is literally next building to my office. so been tempted to get it s-off for months.. not because i need it (previously was root already), but because i can

Relock the bootloader and keep the phone in the relocked bootloader and then run this ruu with admin rights
http://bugsylawson.com/files/file/1...52-radio-2120413520-release-275980-signedexe/
After the ruu you update with the official ota's from within the phone (update menu)

B : RELOCKED
C : UNLOCKED

Something fishy going on ! The 415 ruu didn't work i assume. You could try the 2.17.401 ruu !
You tried the 3.14 ruu and that failed because of the low hboot you have now. It can't jump from that low to that high one.

Unfortunately the 2.17.401 ruu did not work as well.
Here is what I'm going to do and would like your guidance..
1- flash firmware package for JB htc__102 from here
2- unlock bootoader from htc dev
3- flash custom recovery
4- flash stock jelly bean rom (odexed) and boot.img provided by mike1986.from here
5- flash stock recovery back again and relock bootloader to be able to receive ota updates
Will this work?
You can try. If the firmware is wrong it won't be flashed anyway. But yeah it is an option to try. But i think it will fail because the 2.17 ruu should have updated the hboot too. A ruu or ota file contains the firmware package that you will try to flash seperatly with command.
Give it a shot. But the info your phone is giving by the cid and main commands are not in line with what they should be !
