XML help

I'm new to vb.net and writing my first app for windows mobile 6.
I need help with an XML reader/writer. Is there anyone willing to help me with this.
I have an AT&T Fuze and want to use the AT&T tab in manilla as a game tab
I can edit the file nessary(att_tabitems.xml) on my desktop with notepad and all works fine. But if I edit it on the phone with the program I made after saving the file It is half the size an the At&t tab in manila can't read the file; however, opening each file the origional and the one my app created on the phone they seem to have the same information in them. word for word.
I use the readfiles/writefiles options in vb to read and write the file. I think I need to use a method of writing XML I did try and use the System.XML xmlDocument to try and read in the xml file but was unable to get it to work.
I was hoping someone here had an example of an app they had writen that reads/writes XML on the smartphone.
Hmm...You are editing it with an app you made? Any chance you can PM me the source and maybe I can figure it out from there. My best bet would be that you are forgetting to Close() the file, creating an access issue...
I'd be able to give you a better answer if you send me the code

Request from S5250/S5330/S5750/S5780/S7230...

As I have no bada handset with 240 x 400 Pixel.
But I wish we could better work together.
Please I need whole folder System. This is content of *.RC1 file.

It could be. That during Security you have to set few different Settings to make it work... Read Manuals. See here:

[Q] About Arc Camera

hello to all
i am a camera loving person, love to capture pictures.......
from last few months i am try to modify the Arc stock camera..
i totaly decompile the Semc camera apk file and read all the files very carefully in it
then i found if we change some thing in the apk file it will not take affect, and i found why it is
if we open root explorer and go to
System / usr / semc then here we found a folder named camera
inside the camera folder there are some files that have DAT extention
these dat files are the actual camera files all the settings are inside them
like if we want to change the compression level of picture then it will be done by modify these dat files
i try very hard to open that dat files but cant find the way to open it
can some one help me by telling me that how we can modify these dat extention file
i also attached that folder in this post
that have these files
I do believe that work on SE cameras files is very hard. Recently SE has promised that they will release their driver for developer under EULA license, so you best wait a little.
Here's the source: http://blogs.sonyericsson.com/wp/2011/09/28/sony-ericsson-supports-independent-developers/
until there is a fix for the high compression of for the se camera app, i suggest you give the app 'vignette' a try. You have the choice to save at super fine quality. Images are usually 5mb or more. Runs well on the Arc S. The only issue is the preview speed and the ui. needs fixing

[Q] How to edit (HSMenuItem).rbm

Well, I just found where all the icons are stored. It's HSMenuItem.rbm in the RSRC1 file (folder RSRC/BMP/Black). If we could edit this, we could finally add helpful Java applications with the right (or selfmade!) icons.
Now, we can open and view rbm files in Wave Remaker, but is there also any way to edit them?

Try to find Pics of same Format... maybe you can replace them.
At the moment no new Pics possible...

So, you already tried replacing? I noticed, same resolution, bpp, metod and mode don't necesarily mean same file size - so these files might be compressed. I then took a look at them using a hex editor and saw repeating structures inside which shouldn't be there in a compressed file. Duh...
Is Wave Remakers source code available? Cause, if it is, we could learn how these pictures are read.

I have finished the routine QM_WCodec_1st_encode

[Q] Question to developers ?

Hi,
I am trying to create a theme for Note 2 with Note 3 mods. I am currently using DN3 v3 rom.
These are my questions :
1. I would like to know where installed apps from play store keeps there icons "I want to change them"
2. Where are all the stock apps "pre installed apps" located ?
3. Do i need to do any xml programming when replacing the app icons ?
Please tell me the path to those locations if you know it :fingers-crossed:
Each app is an apk file, and it contains icon(s). So there is no central place where all icons are stored.
the best you can do is to create an iconpack theme. just download one (it is apk file as well) and see how it's done. apk's are just signed-zip files, so you can open them (unzip) with any app like winzip or total commander (it is harder putting it back together). There are a lot of iconpacks available, just google it.
