-and mark the tick box for HTC_IME mod
-then under the default keyboard also select HTC_IME mod
much larger keyboard enjoy
1st attachment is cm7 compatible htc stock
2nd attachment is cm9/aokp compatible, but may also work for cm7 not tested
update 17th may
added themed google cm7 keyboard in 3rd attachment enjoy
added themed gold & droid keyboard in 4th attachment
Update 18th May
added Green Droid theme in 5th attachment
added Red & White theme in 6th attachment
Update 15th June
added Pink Lady theme in 7th attachment

all credit for theme kitchen goes to gIMpSTa, thread can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=654179
kitchen is here:http://www.gimpsta.com/themerlo/main.php
note: keyboards made in the kitchen do not yet work with cm9, some files need to be edited to match that of whats in the ics keyboard i posted, if anyone knows how to get these themed keyboards working on cm9 it would be amazing. I will be doing my own research to try and work this out too. From another post i read this is what needs to be changed "The change was in com.htc.android.htcime.ui.CandidateView.draw , changing FIRST_STATE_SET to EMPTY_STATE_SET"
also anyone who creates a nice keyboard, feel free to share it here and add some screens
hit thanks if you found this thread useful guys:thumbup:

exactly what I was looking for, thx

No problem mate enjoy.
Anyone with big fingers that wants a bigger keyboard in cm7 should try this.

Really not sure, I installed it and kept it on phone memory not SD.
Also I'm NOT using any sd partitions eg. Data2sd apps2sd etc maybe that has an effect.

About the white line over letters? It's unlikely. It just appears on the letters on top two rows, this is interesting. I'm running latest nightly CM7 by alquez.
Edit: I just noticed that the image doesn't show up on my earlier post so here it comes.

[Q] HTC Sense live wallpapers?

Hey guys,
I've had a search through these forums, as well as many other sites, and I couldn't find the set of live wallpapers that comes with HTC Sense (in particular, I want the one called "Sense"). Do you know if there is a version that will work with CM7?
Thanks,

The Gingerbread versions worked great for me on CM7 RC2. I had to mount the System partition in Recovery before flashing (as stated in the thread), but then it showed up in the LWP list.
Thanks to sino8r for pointing us in the right direction. I like and missed this LWP.

I should make clear - I did get it to install and appear in the live wallpaper list by mounting /system before installing the zip. However, the wallpaper crashes, with the log attached in the other thread.

Looks interesting, I'll test this out when I can. I like the Framework changes judging from the Screenshots
Looks pretty awesome to me. does this still use the .35 kernel found in rmk's version, or does it use a kernel that allows for replacement by an OC kernel without destroying the rom entirely?
And this ROM is based on ...? Could you post screenshot for Menu -> Settings -> About Phone -> Software Information please?

Thanks for joining the G2 section. We have some really hardworking devs on this side that have been perfecting the Gingerbread Sense experience for us. Downloading now and thanks again, man.
Awesome ROM! Thanks!
Flashed over the rmk prep of this ruu and no issues so far. Thanks for dsp manager. Great work getting that functional! I heard it's hard.
Can we get an unthemed version of this? Perhaps a flashable zip to remove the theming? I'm not familiar with gingerbread enough to change the font, etc....yet...

Downloading this right now, and will have flashed within the next hour. Looking forward to giving this ROM a shot. Thanks for adding to this wonderful G2 / Desire Z community.
I have one question for you, though. When you go through the initial setup of the phone and are presented with the list of languages to choose from, is there one called "English (United States)?" I've tried some of the other Gingerbread Sense based ROMs, and I believe they all don't offer that. Closest one is the "English (United Kingdom)" one.

Would the application "Font Changer" work with this? I know it works well for AOSP based ROMs.

[ROM] CyanogenMod7-Light

This is a ROM built on CyanogenMod 7 but with the bloat removed and some tweaks added. The result is a fast and stable ROM.
The following things have been removed in order to make this ROM smaller and faster: Some ringtones/sms signals, some fonts, ADWLauncher (Install it if you want, I use launcher2), Themes, Terminal, Dev tools, DSPmanager, FileManager, Live Wallpapers, RomManager, and probably some more that i've forgotten now. I left CM settings so we can set clock speeds and so on easier.
I created this for it to be a mix between the speed of the AOSP ROMs we've been seeing lately and the stability and settings of CyanogenMod. Result is pretty good!
I include market. Install other gapps from there or flash a gapps package.
The default kernel is FlyKernel-13. Change the clock speed from Cyanogenmod-Settings to desired levels.
Thanks to:
Erasmux for the kernel.
CyanogenMod and TeamHeroC for sources.
Rdejager for the DPI changer idea.

60 MB nice size for a stripped CM rom Good work. Maybe a good idea to post in the topic title what version of CM it is Just an idea XD Maybe some will think. CM6 :O or even CM5 XD
I agree. Also could you elaborate on what's been removed
Sent from my Hero using Tapatalk
I updated the first post with what's removed. Of course, I also added some tweaks. More agressive taskkiller and changed DPI for example.
I thought with all that removed it would have been a smaller package.
Goku's Decked up for Life rom is a little over 55MB with tones, wallpapers and themes still included.
Will watch this to see some user feedback.

Here is the beta 3 to 4 update.zip I talked about earlier.
All credit goes to Feb and the other awesome devs. I just created an update.zip that seems to work for me. If you break your phone using this, it's not my fault. I have only tested it quickly.
creamed_glacier_beta_3to4_wifi_fixes_apns_extras.zip (34.95 MB)
The above patch includes a bundle of updates from feb's beta 4.0, an APN list, exta live wall papers, an add blocking hosts file and a few other things.
Calendar sync, market, wifi, talk, and headphones all worked for me.
How to install:
---------------
- Reboot into Recovery
- FULL WIPE (factory reset, delvik, system) [i had issues when i didn't full wipe]
- Install Feb's creamed glacier beta 3.0
- Install TDJ's v13 beta ICS kernal
- Install this zip
- Reboot
- On first boot select "Setup Wizard"
Note: If the APNs don't load go into the APN settings, hit the menu button, and select "restore defaults"
As I said if you break your phone don't come crying to me, no warranty!
If this helped hit the "Thanks" button

If you want to fix it. You can:

2. push it to /system/app
3. change the perms to match the others.
4. reboot.
That is what I did and it seems to work.

Nice, was waiting to see if we got a CM9 then was going to start a new F.A.Q. but yours will do

(MOD)(FLY IN WINDOWS)for stock and m1ndhx8r´s roms/Now works for THING ROM too

These are the theme mod´s with fly in windows efects and changed circle animations.
U can flash them in stock or m1ndhx8r´s roms.
I was borred and made them for my self, nothing too colourfull,i dont like my phone looking like Las Vegas casino XD.
1.download zip file of your choice and place it on the root of your sd card
2.make nandroid backup of your rom in cwm
3.reboot in recovery,wipe dalvik cache,choose zip from sd,flash it,reboot.
4.settings>display>animations>all animations checked...and enjoy..
thats all folks, hope you like it...SALUTE!!!
Thanks to m1ndhx8r for uploading framework files to UOT kitchen, and thanks to UOT obviously XD...
if you like it hit the thanks buttonnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it is...and to get back to stock just follow the steps i wrote, make a backup of your current ROM...and restore it when you try these or keep them, its simple..sorry for a late reply.
You can try all of 3 mods one by one flashing them one over each other and in the meanwhile your backup is safe on sd-follow the steps i wrote.Hope you going to like it

Well....1st its always smart to backup your rom when trying new stuff...2nd-they all have same animations but with different themes, blue glowing edges, overscrolling effects...fonts..etc
first zip is just mod with windows flying in stock colours and changed loading circle...other two are themed a little ...i cant remember which efects are where...
To repeat my self and to conclude-TRY THEM OUT
and try clicking thanks button if you like them
