[Q] emailing files - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Anyone know how I can email files from my GN other than photos? I'd like to send some of my ringtones but i can't see them. Is there a "file explorer" in android?

there are many file explorers.

how to file transfer via bluetooth?

in astro and when choosing a file and 'send', all i have are mail options.
You have to install the astro bluetooth module from the market
ach, thank you
and if you want to send ANY file via bluetooth try "Explorer" from the market
ta mate
I wanted to send an .apk today to my m8 via BT. Same problem as you: Astro and ES File explorer only gave me option Gmail and Email.
And what did i do ?
I renamed .apk to .jpg, then i got the full options Context menu (also with BT). ;]

I've used both and decided to keep ES File Manager; it seems to deal with network/ftp shares better than Astro, in my opinion anyway. There were a few other reasons, but can't think of them at this point (!)
maybe cause ES is free?
Personally I use Astro as a filemanager because ES looks terrible. For moving files to my phone I use wifi file explorer.
There must be all in one, right?

[Q] HELP! ES File Explorer deleted files when copy/paste failed

I tried to use ES File Explorer to do a multi-select, then copy, then paste to a drive on my PC across my WiFi network. For each file it said the paste failed...and the files are now GONE from my EVO SD card.
Is there a way to recover these files? Does ES File Explorer move them somewhere when trying to do the copy/paste?

File explorer

Hello,
If I want to view files on the SD card, from the phone, can this be done from standard Android or do I have to get an app?
If need app suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks
Hi
In my opinion the best file explorer is ES File Explorer. Check in the market.

File Manager

What is the best file manager, where I can look at all my files on my SD card - and also delete them without connecting up to a PC?
Also trying to delete that stupid Elysium trailer.
What is the best app?
Thanks.

Total Commander, ESFile Explorer and Solid Explorer are amongst best android file explorers.
file manager
root explorer, root access is required, it help u to explore all of file in external/internal memory and ex-sdcard
it can work fine without root access but cant del file in internal memory. it work fast than every file explorer but ui is very simple
ESFile Explorer for me, rooted required.
Tried Astro and ES Explorer.
ES is much better, perfect. It lets me delete stuff, and is very slick. Also, no adverts (that I seen) unlike Astro.
Thanks.
I can not miss the opportunity to plug Total Commander. The Best file manager for Windows and Android.
The crazy bastards even support Windows 3.11 .
