[Q] Phone reboots it self

It happens after disconnecting from the pc or when after Rebooting until it's stable. Stock rom, rooted. Any solution?

not sure... but can be a sd card issue.... my phone used to get turned off by it self... i formatted my sd card nd the problem was solved....

try reflashing another rom....
were you rooting?when you dc form pc?cause superoneclick wasnt responding>

what baseband did you use? this happened to me also before i updated to DXLB1..

I flashed to stock rom thrice and when after 15-30 days it happens. I use the latest stock rom. I also have 11pages of apps and all are stored in the micro sd.

Thats strange,
You may have to keep the phone screen on to keep it from restarting.. Atleast it works for me..

Yeah same issue here. It is due to putting heck load of apps on sd card mainly those which run on background . Also darktremor a2sd script causes the freezes due to heavy load on sd. You need a higher class sd like 10 or so.

try changing minimal clock speed (CPU) to 832

what you can do about this is to format card, reflash rom, update android version, update firmware version...

[Q] SD Card Unexpectedly Removed

i bought a 16GB SD Card yesterday
i partitioned it with 512MB ext2
then i copied my data back to my new sd card
first it used to say Damaged SD Card but now it says SD card unexpectly removed
please help?

As per my experience class 4 has most of the problems..try class 6 ,2 ,10 card ...will work fine...:beer:

tried it on sense and cm7
both dosnt work still " unexptedly removed"error

I thought it was a problem with my device.. guess not
i had inserted a 16 GB card that gave the same message within a few seconds. However, when I tried a 4 GB card, it worked fine..

yeah my 4GB works fine too but 16GB gives same problem

Follow these steps -
1. Format your sd card again using HP Format Tool (google it, download it.)
2. If the problem's still there, install a new rom. I suggest installing the ICS Rom by Modpunk.
3.If the problem is still there, YOU HAVE TO GET THE SD CARD CHECKED. Because I have a 16gb MicroSd card Class 4 and it's working Awesome.
P.S. There may also be an app which is causing such a chaos with your sd card,
If you have SnappzMarket installed, uninstall it and see if your problem is solved, because for me it caused the error. "Sd card Removed Unexpectedly."
And and and, Does this error comes ever time you start your device, or just sometimes in the middle of using it?

use fat32,ext4 and linux swap..it works for me..and i got error sd card unexpectly removed but when i reinsert and restart phone it ll ok.

switch to class 10 card. solved the problem for me after many hours.

This problem happened to me too.
Do a quick check. Go to recovery. Mount the card. try copying some file. (About 50 mb). Check if the file transfer is successful or not. For me it was buggy card. It worked well on other phones. But it didn't work with mine.
If the recovery transfer fails. try changing card. I had to.

It's not problem of ROM, It's not problem of SD card, It's some "mystical" incompatibility.
I've had that same problem. I tried repair it through chkdsk but no errors was found. Card worked fine on other device so I've bought a new one. :good:

I've the same problem here.
Change oter SD Card, Trnscend class10, Sandisk too. And nothing. *on 16GB* = same
Reinstall Roms,try another ROM = same
But my very sh*t,
I dont backup my virgin wfs rom.
I already root, unlocked and s-on
then, my guarantee was.... VOID.
Any idea about this guys?
How to get my guarantee back, for replace my device *hopefully*
Or how to solve my WFS curse. :'(

I've used a 16g card class 4. I didn't have any problem after formatting and partitioning with cwm recovery or minitool as well. Ext3 in recovery or ext4 with minitool.

[Q] Help Installing the XDA App on Blazer's ICS Rom

On Blazer's ICS roms, both 0.1.3 and 0.1.2, I am haveing trouble with the XDA app. I can restore it with Titanium Backup but when the market goes to update it, it says that it "Couldn't install on USB storage or SD card". It's giving me the same message if I try and download it without restoring it.
Its only happening with this app.I've reflashed the rom a couple of times since I first started haveing the problem and that hasn't helped at all.
I've never had anything else do this. Any help would be awsome, thanks.

Unmount your sd card, apply the update then remount.
Settings>storage>unmount sd card

[Q] Weird Problem

Guys i have a very weird problem i searched the whole net about it , i'll be glad if you helped me :
-i was using turbo kernel and did "wipe external storage" when the problem started .
- after that i was able to flash a new rom without troubles , BUT whenever i flash any .zip file in recovery (patch , gapps , mod , bootanimation) my device wont recognize my sdcard anymore until i wipe every thing and re-install the rom
-i tried to change kernels but the same problem happens with every kernel/Rom i use !!!
My Device R800i - Sonygen 10 ROM - Lupus 8/13 , Turbo Kernels - Unlocked BL
PLZ Help Me I Cant Afford To Buy A New Phone :crying: :crying:

Agree. Probably sd card is corrupted. Back-up your files (and rom), format it from windows (or phone) then move back your files.

Yes i tried 2 other sd cards but the same thing happen ... when i flash a mod then reboot it says "damaged usb storage" and dont see the card , i am 90% sure that the (wipe external storage) option corrupted my phone ! but i dont know how to fix it

Did you tried clean start:
-Format sd card
-Flash firmware
-Flash kernel
-wipe system and data
-Flash your rom

Thank You Sooooooo Much i was so confused that flashing firmware (phonix.62) didnt come to my mind , i flashed it then formatted my sd card then flash kernel .... Rom then reboot and flash (CM10 smallapps) and everything went fine >>> You deserve 100 thank

[Q] help w/ omni rom 4.4 please

This is my first time posting so if this is in the wrong place or anything I am sorry. I cannot post a question on the Dev post because I haven't got enough posts or something. So my issue is, I have the omni ROM with KitKat for t889, the newest version the dev has posted, it says in his post that the problem with the SD card not working is fixed, however I am still not able to use mine. It is a 64 GB, I have tried a fresh clean install of everything, formatting the SD card, partitioning the SD card, everything I can think of! I cannot change it to the fat32 because that option does not even show up for me on my computer or my phone. If I try and click on the SD card error, which says blank or unsupported files, and try to format from there is just reboots the phone and does nothing else, so I tried formatting on my laptop, and through cwm. I had also tried using twrp to install, but it gave me the same issues. Any help or suggestions are GREATLY appreciated!!

Try a different kernel. Devil2 kernel is great. Or you can flash a 4.1.2 firmware. Format your card through settings and then try loading new rom.

Thank you for the suggestions!! I tried reverting back to a couple of earlier versions and formatting, that didn't help... However I cannot find any of the devil kernels that are compatible for my device and 4.4, do you know where I may could look? I googled it, but not certain I know exactly what to look for. Thank you again for your suggestions!!

I have, I did like it more than some of the other Roms I have tried, I have just been trying out the 4.4 KitKat to see if I like it, more than likely I will be reverting back to 4.3 or something just because of the current bugs with the few Roms available, but have been enjoying testing out the new stuff.
