Wake Up defy with volume buttons

Hi
I'd like to know if it's possible to wake up the defy with the volume buttons in order to save the power button.
It's a miui's rom feature I'd like to use in a stock defy rom.
If someone knew some app or mod I will be thankful

neither of those work for me on Racings R2 rom unfortunately.
I use a 'screenshot' app for the time being, but its more annoying to use

vol down + power will work on any ics rom.
power + home will work on any of our tw roms.
you have to time it right, and hold it for a second but they do work.

You sir are correct. I was able to do it easier on stock GB, but with ICS I have to hold it down a split second longer and it works Thanks!

[Q] Recent app button on SuPrimo v30.0

Helloo All,
I just installed SuPrimo v30.0 on my HTC one V. Working like a charm. I would like to know if it is possible to the functionality of the recent app button back as it was on HTC One V Stock ROM?
On this ROM, when i press recent app button, it brings up the setting menu.
If I switch the synaptics-rmi-touchscreen.kl from my original backup, will it work???

Try long pressing the recent apps button. That should bring up the recent apps.

Home button works fine, it takes me to recent apps but i want to use the third key(recent app key) to open recent apps.

I don't think there's a way to change it without flashing a new rom... sorry
you do get used to it though cuz most roms are set up this way

You can try myONEv rc9, it is almost all like stock but so much faster and stable. And it has that recent apps thing. Also suprimo is discontinued and won't be supported anymore, the dev of myONEv and my sense is very active and helps you with any kind of problem

cyanogenmod

Hello its my first post here. Great site by the way. I installled the cyanogenmod 10.2 and when i have my phone in sleep i cant wake it with menu button only with power button. Second i havent the multy windows menu. Will waiy your answers.

Well... Multi Window can't be available on cyanogenmod.. It's "AOSP rom" ..
If you wanna get Samsung features like multi Window.. Blah blah.. only "touchwiz based rom" can have..for Example phoenix rom, moon rom, omega rom etc..
But I'm not clear with your first question.. Wake up phone with menu button? You can also wake up phone with home button.. Having home button problem?

Try Alliance ROM, it's touchwiz based rom with multiwindow and looks like google roms. With good customization features. Stable and fast

I recently updated my cyanogen mod 10.2 to the last nightly build and I suffer of this problem too. With the previous version I was able to wake up my device even with the home button but not anymore.
Anyone had this problem and had already fix it? So how?
Maybe there is a new option on the menu to activate this function?
