Best extended battery - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

==== For the verizon phone
guys
is there a better extended battery than the 2100mah?
Also for folks that have the VERIZON 2100MAH battery, is the addition in thickness almost a non-issue? Is it like 1mm thicker?
Thanks

This one seems the best so far and has been confirmed to work well.

I ordered this one yesterday so just waiting on it now.

That's the ATT version (not verizon). Can someone tell me if the verizon 2100mah battery has NFC on it? I may root the phone to use NFC even though verizon has disabled it
Thanks

Thickness is a non issue, I actually prefer the feel of the extended. It added a considerable amount of battery life, and it certainly still has nfc. Love my extended from Verizon.

Looks wise the GSM and LTE phones with extended battery look the same (both add the same thickness) and both have NFC as they're official batteries

Telus galaxy s2

Hi guys I wana buy galaxy s2 from Telus and wondering would it work with wind or mobilicity? If I unlock it? And if I unlock it do I get 3g or edge with wind or mobilicity? Thanks in advance

That's what I did. Bought it at Bestbuy (after a bit of nonsense from the salesdroid trying to say I needed a plan even though I was buying it outright).
I got an unlock code from an Ebay seller for $25 and it works fine. It works better on wind/mobi if you do the *#*# code to force it to only use WCDMA and 1700 band. Otherwise it hunts through all the various radios trying to find your carrier, which takes a lot longer.
I've also rooted mine using the t-mobile root thread, but haven't flashed any custom roms yet.
Great phone, only downside is battery life. All the fancy apps, games and video playing can drain it fast. Juice Defender app seems to help a fair bit with battery life though.
Thank you so much for the great answer. When I go on my computer ill make sure to thank you. Do you have the link to rooting? And is it easy to root?

For rooting: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1311194
The only difference is that for the Telus model, instead of "holding vol up + vol down, and plugging the USB cable in", we "hold both vol down and power and plug cable back in" to get ODIN to work. It is very easy to root.
Tbh the battery life is amazing for the fact that the screen is so big and we're on 4G all the time. On stock rom/kernel you might get poor battery life because of bloatware. Custom roms/kernels make battery life + performance awesome If you are with wind/mobilicity you will be on 3G so battery life will be even better for you off the bat. Take a look at the android development section of this phone's forum for custom roms/kernels.
this might be easier to understand http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1332103
So the model has exact same features as t mobile galaxy s2 USA? I don't wanna order through eBay. Wants to avoid custom fees
i got my Tmob GS2 for $520 shipped to my door off ebay. no duties. granted its a gamble. on reflection would have been better to get it from Telus. at least i can get warranty
You got lucky. I had to pay custom fees last time I ordered from US
try mobileincanada dot com
looks like crappy site, but i ordered the unlock for $20 and it worked.

[Q] White HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus?

Hey I have a Verizon galaxy nexus and I'm selling it because Verizon is too expensive so I'm moving to T mobiles monthly 4G plan for $30 (100 minutes + unlimited texts + unlimited data)
I thouht about getting the s3 but something about having on screen buttons just spell win:laugh:
Anyway Im interested in getting the white galaxy nexus but I'm concerned that it won't be compatible with t mobiles hspa_ 21mbps
Also does anyone know if all the Gnex versions (yakju, yakjuxw , yakjusc etc) support t mobile hspa+ 21 as well?
Question 2: Do you know if the google play store will offer (or offered) the white galaxy nexus?
thanks!
I couldn't answer the first question but as of now, Google is not offering the white Nexus through Play. But who knows they might add it in after the JB upgrade or after they put the Nexus up back on the store? Hold on a little while if you want to find out.
I think that the White Nexus is just for the people that attended Google I/O.
Just like Nexus 7.
The phones given out at I/O weren't white iirc.
So just the tablets were ?
Haven't heard that the I9250 isn't compatible with any operator. It is a Pentaband phone, so it should support every network around (except LTE ofc.).
But do correct me if i'm wrong
Yes it was just the tablets that were white for I/O
My bad then.

1. Any GSM GNex is compatible with TMo's HSPA+. Just watch out for the DoCoMo ones, as they're carrier locked and not worth the headache unless you can get a very, very good deal
2. No one knows at this point
I bought it 2 weeks ago from Amazon for 424 with one day shipping

They all do. And you can flash any one to yakju/takju, the software is irrelevant.

Sprint battery cover vs GSM battery cover vs Verizon battery cover

Sorry if this has been posted; I have used the precious search feature.
I am trying to figure out if the sprint battery door matches the GSM version or the verizon version or is unique on its own. I see a lot of custom backs on ebay that I would love to purchase but I am not sure if it is going to fit
Thanks in advance for the help.
Ya its been discussed also with pics...

Actually, I don't see talk about the i9250 (GSM) battery door fitting on the l700 (Sprint LTE/CDMA version) either.
Am I missing it or does anyone know if the stock i9250 battery door fits the l700?

Htc one x worth 220$

I have a chance of buying this phone. How is development and battery life?

Battery life is not the best compared to competitors like SGS3, but it is pretty decent with moderate use. I can comfortably get through the day. Some of the older OneX phones had few issues like a WiFi antenna problem, and some screen related issues. If what you are going to buy is problem free, then $220 is a pretty good price for a One X. BTW there are two variants, a dual core 16GB version (sold by AT&T US, Rogers Canada, also known as One XL in some countries) and the quad core 32GB variant.

Battery life is better than when the phone was lunched. I have an early s/n HT23XW?????? quad core version running on Rogers' HSPA network and battery life isn't a problem for me, it can hold for a day with some ''power friendly'' settings. I had the wifi antenna issue but repaired myself and now the phone is working just fine. for 220$ its a good deal but you should ask for the S/n. and check on this forum what s/n are not experiencing wifi issue and yellow spot issue.

No, that would be pointless, there is no correlation between those faults and the serial number.

Battery 2.800mah

Good morning! Can anyone tell me if this model catches on i9250 battery? Why put that measures 2.2 x0,2x1,7inches.

Nobody knows if this battery goes for i9250?
The picture is of the actual battery, so far as we can tell, it'll fit. The seller's user feedback seems to suggest that the batteries they sell work.
It's pretty cheap for a battery. Just know you're not getting NFC with this. If it doesn't work, tell Amazon that you got sent a dud.

The NFC I'm a bit alike. I do not use. But what of the seemingly 2.800mA for a battery the size of a stock can see real?

I would like a bigger battery than stock, but not fat mobile.

I would be concerned that the item title mentions both the i9250 and the i515 (CDMA GNex). The two do not have interchangeable batteries - totally different shapes. There is no such thing as a battery that fits both... so which is it??

I would go by the model number on the battery itself, though if they all say that then it really does no good. If there's a way to contact the seller, I'd do that.

I bought the 2000 mAh battery from Shimshop with cover and it's working nicely for me. Not as cheap as what you have posted but this is a genuine piece of Samsung hardware and the phone is not much thicker. I figure that if a genuine 2000 mAh extended battery has to be thicker, there is no way some random crap company has the expertise to engineer an even higher capacity battery that doesn't require a new back cover.
I actually ordered one of these. The model number on the battery is correct, not the description. I have the Verizon Nexus so the battery did not fit. Whether or not it actually fits the GSM version I'm not sure but I can assure you it is NOT for the LTE Gnex. All I can say is it looked like the GSM battery.
If you have the LTE Gnex, I'm pretty sure the model number you want on the battery is T989.

The correct LTE model number is i515. However that model has an identical battery to the T-Mobile and Telus Samsung Galaxy S2, which is the T989.
The GSM Nexus i9250, on the other hand, is said to have the same battery as the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Blaze.

The reason I said T989 is because this company doesn't make a battery SPECIFICALLY for the i515. What I probably should have said is if you're looking to buy a battery from them, make sure it has T989 on the battery, not i9250.
