Do you have cwm? If do, flash any of the ec07 roms and imnuts hacked kernel. If that doesn't work (it should, unless you tried to repartition) then hit irc, and I'll see if I can help. All of the roms and the kernel are in Ciscogee's database sticky.
PERCEPTION IS REALITY

Thanks for the fast reply, and no, I do not have clock work, how do i get it through download mode only, because odin doesnt seem to flash things on my device well,
any other solutions?

Keep trying. That isvthe pain of Odin. It's simple uservinterface, but it doesn't alswaysvwork, the first time. I've had to flash something 4 times before before itvwould pass, and i know I was doing it right. The alternative is HEIMDALL. More complicated, but I've never had a fail when I did it right. I'll be in irc in a few ifvyouveant me to walk you through heimdall.
PERCEPTION IS REALITY

Thank you so much, yeah, could you walk me through it? Please?
I need my phone to work, and the COMport is always messed up, or the write operation fails

Since I don't see you in irc, go here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18698679
There is a link on there for a tut I made for using heimdall for this situation. And that thread contains everything you need (except 7zip). I'll be in irc in a bit, and be there for most of the day, likely.
PERCEPTION IS REALITY

OK, i found a tutorial on heimdall, but while flashing i get
ERROR: Failed to access device. libusb error: -12
WHAT NOW????

That is a driver issue. either reinstall the heimdall drivers, or unplug and replug and try again. I'm in IRC now.

[Q] Help I just BRICKED my Samsung EPIC

I have been using my epic for a little more than a year now and I have used odin and update.zip to update my phone in the past. Also I have rooted my phone multiple times but this time I think I really screwed up. I have the stock EI22 gingerbread installed on my phone and I was trying to root it using ODIN with the ACS recovery. However now I cannot boot into my phone and when I try, I get this symbol of a phone and a computer not connected. I tried using ODIN to go back to EC05 but I get this wierd message from ODIN when I try.

I tried using the victory.pit file and different tar files but that doesn't work either. I tried using the update.zip EI22 file using CLOCKWORK RECOVERY but it keeps saying "Installation Aborted".
Can someone help please???
Try a better cable, try it with the battery and sd card out using the computer as a power source, also try removing the md5 extension from the file. And it is not bricked as long as it has life. Brick is brick. Yours is sponged.
OMGGGGGG THANK YOUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I took out the battery and SD card and tried ODIN and it worked. You are awesome my virtual friend.

[Q] How to root Bone Stock EPIC EI22 GB

Is there a trick to getting the Epic EI22 Stock GB rooted?
Trying to root my wife's phone, because she's complaining of poor battery life.
I'm on a rooted Epic Touch, so I don't know the nuances of the EPIC 4G.
I tried to flash kernel-GB-3a.tar.md5 using odin 1.81 and it was on com4, successfully verified the checksum and tried to flash something, but failed to verify.
reference: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1307980
Has something changed recently with EI22 that makes it harder to root? I guess the oneclick method no longer works?
Has anyone successfully rooted from EI22 stock?
A little forum search in General will show you a "how to root the OTA or Google update". It requires a custom kernel like samurai, nubernel or shadowkernel. You can also simply Odin in CWM 5.0.2.7 without reboot checked. Remove from Odin, boot directly into CWM and flash a custom prerooted GB ROM.

Cable is probably going bad. Try it again without the battery in and using the computer and USB cords as power to get into download mode.

That's happened to me before. You either need to unplug and replug the USB cable or you need to unplug, reboot into download mode, and then replug in the USB cable. I can't remember which one was the fix and which one just annoyed me more.
OK, shortly after I posted the error message I soft bricked my phone. Probably a bad factory cable.
I used this post to Restore it back to Froyo,
[How to] Restore a semi-bricked Epic or Bring it back from the brink!: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1052813
Another words, I flashed to following:
victory_8G_100528.pit and SPH-D700-EC05-8Gb-REL.tar
I also used a non stock cable!
After this I was able to Flash ACSRecovery1.0.0.5.tar.md5, and than CleanGB.
I think the Baseband went back to EC05, should I flash the EI22 modem? (if there is one available)
There is no EI22 modem.bin file. There is a flashable delta for EC05toEI22 in the modems thread in the stickies in Development. I have found the modem works well.

[Q] My note II won't boot

Hi Every body:
That is really a bad day, just woke up this morning to find my device (was plugged for charging over night) to find it stuck at (GALAXY NOTE II N-7100)
tried several times to pull the battery and put it back hopefully to get it boot...but nothing happened.
I can access only the download mood and NO access to the custom recovery!!

Ok, I know someone is going to yell at me. I have searched for 24 hours on this site before deciding to post. Please don't verbally assault me too badly. Here is what happened, overnight, the phone must have gotten an OTA update. It is now frozen at the Samsung Galaxy screen.
I cannot get to CWM which I did have on 4.1.1
I can only get to download / ODIN mode (vol down, home, power.) So I downloaded Odin 3.07 (the newest i think)
I downloaded KIES_HOME_I317UCAMA4_I317ATTAMA4_578342_REV04_user_low_ship.tar.md5 (AFTER A LOT OF SEARCHING!)
I can get Odin to see my phone, com4, I put the above file in PDA and eventually get this....

Also, make sure that you don't flash "AT&T i317 ODIN 4.3 UCUBMJ4 (Leak) Bootloader & TZ (AT&T Note 2 ONLY)" bootloader as this bootloader is only for 4.3 leaded version.

It's possible that the error is the same and there's no problem with the PIT file, but I can't tell.
Tried with Odin versions 3.09, 10 and 11
I've also tried copying the MD5 to my SD card to try to load it in TWRP, but it can't find the file, only a couple ZIPs I used to install 6.0.2 so not sure if I can actually install a stock firmware that way
file - T807TUVU1BOE1_T807TTMB1BOE1_T807TUVU1BOE1_HOME.tar.md5
Any guesses what I'm missing?

Having had enough trouble with Marshmallow ROMs for the Tab S 10.5 (T-Mobile) I've been trying to revert to the stock 5.0.2, maybe even try bumping back to 5.11, the last stable ROM I (could have sworn I) had, if I could find it.
But Odin fails when I try to load the MD5 file

You need to put it in download mode first.
Did you install the Samsung USB drivers?
If that doesn't help, try another PC.
Both are done - tab's in download mode, and USB drivers installed.
I've modded this tablet alone a couple times, using Odin and just copying ZIPs to the tablet, so it's neither of those issues. Note the "Added!" message at the start of the session, so it got the connection to the device.
The pause between setup connection and the fail message is fairly long, a couple of minutes, so more like a timeout than an instant lack of connection.
Tried it in Administrator mode as well.

Try removing the ".md5" from the filename and trying again
