Solo aplica a kas donaciones que se hacen a xda o a los desarrolladores del foro?

10 is the maximum?? Or someone can get much than it?

Nope, Mike has 10+8
10 Euro = 1 Single Star
10 Euros x 10 = 'Bigger' Single Star with 10 written on it.
EDIT: As Search is down ATM, refer this Thread:

The OP has Single Star with 10 written on it X 10

XDA-Developers is powered by Searchlight. And Searchlight is a product of Axivo. So I guess, he's most probably the owner of Axivo or Developer of Axivo.

This site is growing like crazy. All of us generate gigabytes of traffic per day, and we use a sustantial part of a rack-mounted server. It's not the most expensive thing in the world, but it has reached a point where I can no longer pretend it costs absolutely nothing to run. Looking at the not-so-distant future, we may need our own server, pay the going rate for our bandwidth and maybe even hire people for some freelance odd-jobs. I'd hate to see this great community suffer because it lacks some source of revenue.
Banner-ads, 'special XDA-developers offers' and a more commercial approach would be the obvious solution. Face it, our community is a commercial wet dream: Early adopters, buying lots of expensive gadgets, and then telling all our friends how cool they are. I'd really dislike going that route, I prefer an honest site, loving technology but free to publicly say something sucks when it does.
This brings us to the only reliable and independent source of funds: ... you. You can donate some money to help make sure this community can continue to grow and prosper. For every ten Euros (around USD 12.40) you donate, you'll get a small

above your name with every forum posting. To avoid clutter, there's a bigger

Glad I can finally do something in return. Donating 50 Euros seems like a lot, but believe me it is only a fraction of the money I would have lost if this place didn't exist. I recovered one wrongly upgraded "XDA-brick" after reading postings on this forum, and my job is to write code for this device. If all I had was 'Source O2' I would have long gone insane.
I hope everyone donates a little to the cause, and you guys become insanely rich. Thank you for being around...

Not all countires are listed
I'm trying to make a donation, but I can't, since my country is not in the list. Any other way ??
The "marquee" scrolling banners with donors and beer transactions above each page have somehow disappeared (at least in my IE6). No clue, the HTML looks fine, and I haven't tinkered with it. I'm working on it (if anyone has a clue please let me know...).
So the banners will come back, and your donations are still most welcome.
I would like to donate as well but i can't do that by paypal. If you are interested i could do that by Western Union, so just drop me a PM with your details and i do that.
Keep the good work.
Would like to donate but my country isn't on the paypal options. Please advise when an alternative pay system is in place. Cheers.
same with me - the country I am living in (at least for now) is not listed at the PayPal. Will wait until some broader coverage money transfer system will be added to 'donations'
Trying to get donation page to work.
I don't have a landline and I can't get the page to accept my mobile number. I think I'm getting it wrong so could someone please tell me the format for country code and mobile number. The site has been very useful to me and I'd like to donate.
Great site from where I've learnt loads - have taken more than I've given - don't want it to be a commercial site - so it's great to give a little back. Keep up the good work !
Don't have paypall or creditcard
Is there a way to just transferr money by the bank?
Just give me you banking account and I will transferr the 10 Euro's.
I don't need the star, so don't worry about that...

what you got to ask yourself it, how much is xda worth to companies like htc, imo development sites like xda is the pivotal reason that htc devices are now seen as mainstream.
XDA is worth far more than 3.24 Million.
It's worth 3.24 million if you're just counting Ad revenue / impression value.

your device must be fully paid, & you must have been a customer for at least 45 days.
if you satisfy those requirements, you qualify for a free unlock from tmobile.
otherwise, head on over to cellunlocker.net

I too will be taking this phone internationally. My phone is paid off and I have been on the prepaid for 6 months but post paid for 4 days. I wonder what tmobile will do with my request.
I bought a new S4 at full retail price from T-Mobile. I am travelling to Europe next week and wanted to get it unlocked. I tried to get it unlocked by chatting with a rep online and they said I had to be a customer in good standing for 40 days ( I just switched over from Sprint) and that they wouldn't even bother submitting the unlock request. This is NOT what is says on their website (see: support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-1588) Their website says that if you pay full retail price you only need to have an account in good standing to unlock. Based on what the website said, I went to the store, they took a look at the website and called up the unlock team and submitted an unlock request. I was supposed to get a response from the unlock team in 24-48 hours, but 96 hours later when I had still not heard from them, I just used cellunlocker.net. 10 mins and $24 later I got the code.
One thing to note: cellunlocker.net gives you a bunch of ways to enter the code, but the only way that worked for me was to insert a different SIM, so if you do get a code from them you may want to make sure you have access to a SIM on a different network.

As I mentioned, I paid full retail price for mine. If you read the rest of that page there is a section for people who paid full retail price. There is no 40 day requirement in that case.

The program, called "(warehouse club name) Next", first launched in 2017 with just a few brands. But they have recently ramped it up, offering an array of products such as Anker phone chargers, (and more listed at the article). They are now advertising the program prominently on its website, and plans to add more brands and products in the coming year.

Title and OP edited to greatly reduce how commercial sounding it was. I mainly just want to let XDA users who happen to be already members of the specific warehouse club to be able to use their benefits when buying reputable chargers and cables.
Thank you to @Oswald Boelcke , who went above and beyond reinstating the thread and allowing me to adjust it. I have no affiliation with any of the companies involved and definitely receive no benefit from anyone's business with them.
Fun fact, Google now returns your thread as the first result for the term you're linking to

Ah well, I'm not from/in the US, so this won't work for me.
This does kinda seem like advertising. That being said, I'm a Costco member, and this is good to know! Thanks!

While the company is American-originated, I just looked them up and confirmed they are multi-national. Now whether they're spread out enough to help anyone here, that's something else.
As of March 2021, (the warhouse club) has 804 warehouses worldwide:[1] 558 in the United States (including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico), 103 in Canada, 39 in Mexico, 29 in the United Kingdom, 27 in Japan, 16 in South Korea, 14 in Taiwan, 13 in Australia, 4 in Spain, 2 in France, 1 in Iceland and 1 in mainland China. Costco regularly opens new locations.[13] The company plans to open warehouses in 2022 for the first time in New Zealand,[14] and Sweden.[15]
