Today I was playing with my buddy gnex and I found an intrstng thing.
If u go to settings >about phone and then tap on Android Version repeatedly a lil android robot comes up and on a long pressing on that robot it will act something funny..
I thought many users are unaware about this ,that's why I m sharing it with my xda fellow members.

I'm pretty sure you saw this online. You don't randomly find this and automatically know what to do. This has pretty much been floating around (no pun intended) since the first Galaxy Nexus rom leaked. Thanks anyway.

So you mislead people by trying to take credit for someone else's findings? You should edit your original post seeing as how you have now contradicted yourself. Been here for over a year, solely in the EVO forums until I got my E4GT, and I have never seen the video, it was entertaining. However I have been using forums for almost 16 years, So in turn, I have learned early on to make sure I know where I am posting prior to posting, that and I have also run my own forums, So I tend to always read the stickies as well.

Today i'm making this thread because i've discovered that our phone shares the same cpu and gpu as a few phones with ICS roms. I'm not sure if this info is right or not, if so correct me. if thats true, can i flash an ICS rom from say a myTouch 4g Slide?

No that will brick your phone. Unless you see an ICS build in THIS forum, then it cant be flashed.

I left sprint and went to a rezound then RAZR maxx. So glad i did. My wife won't leave sprint because she loves her gs2 so much...sprint isn't super great in my area. Verizon dominates. I can't wait for the gs3 to hit so i can get her on my plan. The et4g is very nice. If it would have been on Verizon I could already have switched her but hey, gs3! I take one.

In all seriousness, and taking no jabs at OP, I could understand posts like this for high profile people (Devs, Mods, Themers, etc) who were leaving but only because their departure would have a direct impact on the community. For example, I wish I had known SteadyHawkin was leaving us for the GNex because he did a lot for us and deserved a big send off.
Other than that I can't imagine why people feel the need to post they're leaving unless they just really need some sort of recognition that they were here to begin with. For whatever reason, I hope everyone is happy with their choices regardless if they stay or go.

looking at your home made Jig... I got a USB Jig on eBay for $3 and not only did it reset the counter but it cleared up the boot screen problem too. Always love reading how to make/do it yourself though.

Once I've gotten the hang of the intricacies of flashing on a Samsung device and the whole emmc lockup issue I'll start getting to work on some developing. Gotta see how different a Sammy device is from an HTC one. Also just finished up my first year of college so summer has officially started now.
Should be fun times here! Much more friendly from what I've seen compared the highly volatile and dangerous minefield known as the 3D forums lately. Boy has it gotten bad. Many devs have left xda too. Crazy stuff man.

So as the 'Title' reads, this is my 1st post on here. I've been coming to this site for guidance since I had my old HTC Hero. I continued to read when I got my OG Epic, and now I keep my eyes in the forum for all the juicy ICS news for my E4GT.
Since there is kind of a lull in activity with the leaks and etc, I figured I would introduce myself, and say 'thank you' to everyone (Devs, Readers, Comment-er's, etc.) You all have helped me keep my sanity here at work lol.... Literally...
I guess I ran out of things to say for now.. I hope that everyone has a great weekend!

Thanks! I am going to def try to post/comment more. The Dev's are incredible, and the comments I've seen daily are definitely entertaining.
