Compact Sense Clock/Weather Widget - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

I was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me what this clock/weather widget is shown in the screenshot as well as how to get it. This screenshot is from the Virtuous Affinity ROM thread in the development section. I was hoping that it is another version/form of an HTC Sense widget as I am already familiar with the many alternatives available. I like to use HTC's version of the clock widget and wasn't sure if this was one. Thanks in advance!
P.S. -- Because I am "new" poster, I could not link the image, so I attached it to this thread instead.

You have to have a sense 3.5 ROM to have this clock.

Cool. Thanks tylerlawhon. I appreciate you replying so quickly and letting me know this. I am currently running SkyRaider Zeus 1.3 which only uses Sense 3.0, so I wasn't able to find the widget. Thanks again.

Lol actually to be clear, the build.prop only says 3.0. It's not full 3.0, but 2.1 with 3.0 parts added as well as other tweaks.
My personal recommendation for a solid 3.5 ROM would be mikrunny 1.01. Very solid, very fast. Make sure you check out the odexed version instead of deodexed.

Clock
If you don't want to install a new ROM, you can also install Fancy Widget which has a theme that looks exactly like it and then just set the clock, weather, date to open the same apps as the sense weather widget. Works exactly the same and looks exactly the same.

Beautiful Widgets is a reasonable alternative too.

BW has a compact widget like this?
I guess it would be 1x4 size? Or possibly 2x4? Lol, can't tell...

Yes BW does ... I believe its 4x1 (i.e. 4 wide 1 high)....BW refers to it as something like Beautiful Smaller Home in its list of available widgets. Of course, last I looked BW is a paid app --- I just happened to get it for less than a buck when the Market had all those sales around Christmas time.

HTC Flip clock on cyanogen?

I want to get cyanogen, but I LOVE the look of sense. Honestly, its the only reason I still run stock sense on my Dinc. The weather animations are just awesome.
Is there a way to get a functioning HTC flip clock on cyanogen, with weather animations and everything?

Nope, sense only
It's built into the framework

As someone who once loved the clock, seriously ditch it and come over to Cyanogen (they have bacon!).
For ~$2 you can buy Beautiful Widgets which work perfectly on Cyanogen and can be skinned to look like the HTC Clock. Get away from Stock man, there's so much more to be had.

Really? I've seen the beautiful widget clock, and its kind of gross. I love the launcher pro plus widgets, but they need launcher pro to run (I think?), and stock cyanogen launcher is more functional.

There are several dozen different skins you can download and apply. Also another good one is Fancy widget. That's pretty similar. I don't think either do the weather animations though...someone correct me if I'm wrong.

While Beautiful Widgets and Fancy Widget try to mimic sense, they are still not the same. The real sense widgets are still the best IMO.
I don't think it's necessary to "get away from stock" with the Incredible. Between TouchWiz, Blur, Sense, etc, I think Sense is BY FAR the best and the smoothest interface and framework.
With that being said, I do run CM7. But I miss Sense every day, it is a tough decision for me and I cannot just say hands down that AOSP is better than Sense. I do encourage modding, and if you like Sense, at least get a Sense based ROM.

I tried them all. They all look vastly inferior to the real thing. They all look significantly less sharp and they never get the proportions right (all look stretched).
I'm still hoping for a near identical knockoff someday.

You won't get a near identical one anytime. All the ones that looked like it had HTC come after them, telling them it had to change.

You forgot acer's liquid... which I think is the best by far. I can't stand sense anymore, it's too business-y for me. I like myn's though, that's about as far as my love for sense goes though.
There's an older version of Fancy Widget with an identical Sense look floating around the interwebs. Google it.
Also, Beautiful Widgets does do unlock animations but not quite as smooth as Sense.

Looks just like the HTC one, but doesn't do weather animations or flip animations. I'll live without that...I just like the look of that clock haha. Using it with CM7 now.
Definitely switch to CM7 and LPP. It's my setup now and I love it. I've flashed other ROMs but I honestly can't make it through the day without flashing back to gingerbread.

Look up stoney666 in the theme section. He has some kick ass clocks in there.
Not sure how I sent this??

I agree while I do love Sense and I enjoy using the Sense based ROMs, I always want to go back to gingerbread.
I think CM is the way to go if you always want the latest version of Android.
Personally, I like ADW a lot better than LP though. At least the most recent versions of ADW I really like.
Why dont you try skyraider sense 3.5...you can install a custom theme over it to look almost like stock android, and plus you get to have all the htc widgets and the htc apps...see, i have mine with skyraider sense and a a gingerbread theme
---i still prefer the beautiful widgets clock though
I use the newest Fancy Widget Pro with the H7C skin. Looks identical to sense clock!
I just compared Fancy Widgets H7C skins vs the stock sense (remember to change to flip clock) and they look pretty damn spot on. Only thing different is the weather animations were a little better on the sense, but you're just being picky if you want to complain about that.

[Q] Sense Flip Clock

I'm looking for a Sense style flip clock/weather widget to use with CM7. I know, since its AOSP, that thats a mighty high request. But heres my reasoning. Ive seen some ROM's and themes that use the Sense Clock widget on a Non-Sense build. And its not Beautiful Widgets or Fancy Widget. Its seems like its the same clock to a T. I would use BW, but I'm anal about my homescreen, and the fact the corners on so sharp on the BW is just ugly to me. I know theres physically no way to get Sense widgets on an AOSP build, but anyone know of any widgets that are exactly the same?
There is an older Fancy Widget apk floating around which is almost indistinguishable from the Sense flip clock.

thats awesome. would you know where i could find such a thing?
Just search for Sense Analog Clock on the Market and there are some nice ones and they are free. Mine shows Time, date, Internal memory free, RAM free, Battery temp, Battery % and weather. You can also download free skins for it to make it look the way you want it.
that ones not bad. but I remember the beautiful widgets looking almost exactly like the sense clock. anyone know where I can get this?

I sent you a PM.
EDIT: Actually for some reason, it isn't letting me send the PM. "Private Messaging is temporarily unavailable"
EDIT2: If you search teh Google for Fancy Widget v1.2.4 or Fancy Widget v1.3.0 -- I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
I think fancy widgets is closer. If you get the pro, there are skins you can get that make it pretty much identical.
Here is a post with a bunch of themed fancy widget apks that close to the sense clock:

that's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

the htc sense widgets are built into the sense launcher, i believe they aren't available as separate apks. attached is the beautifulwidgets superclock with supersense theme.

Superclock is a version of the beautiful widgets clock. supersense is a theme you can install from within beautiful widgets.

Using LauncherPro instead of TouchWiz. A lot more customisation.
carnt seem to find the sence in there, i just have a standard 1 installed in there and a tab for downloaded skins which just trys to loads skins but not doing anything i guess its supposed to me in there?
Yes the sense skin will be under the download tab.
Do a google search for "fancywidget.apk" This is the clock you are looking for. Its been pulled from most places im guessing for HTC copyright infringements but you can still find it if you look hard enough.
The app is called LP classic sense (you also get sense theme for your LP+ widgets) it's EXACTLY the same as fancywidget (wich was taken of the market way long ago)
I would have posted a screenshot but im not aloud yet
Yes but you need to install LauncherPro in order to get it and therefor get charged. You can still get fancywidget and use it with any launcher without having to pay for LauncherPro and the Sense add-on!!
I got lp sence and clock widget from market which the clock is good but i thought it come with sence wallpaper but no sign of it

Not true. Fancy Widget is still on the Market with the HTC weather clock style. The clock and weather skins are both called 'H7C'.

Thats now gone from the market also. I get the impression that LauncherPro now have exclusive rights to this clock and they are not letting anyone else have it!!

[Q] Square peg, round hole?

I'm trying to get my phone to have the Sense notes widget work on it. I have two versions of the .apk 1.5 and 2.5 i think and obviously I can't get the widget to show in the widgets list.
Is there a work around or am i just porked?

What ROM are you trying to put it onto?
OMFGB 1.3 it's an aosp type. Sense widgets just don't work on them do they?
No they do not. I believe launcherpro has some sense like widgets, not sure about the notes one though.
Sense widget are not compatible with ASOP Roms because they do not have the sense framework.
Sent with my awesome sauce Incredible with some sweet CM7 action

Nice Clock and or Weather home widget

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on what decent HD resolution clock widgets with weather-(not overly important though) there is out there?
Ive looked easily looked through 100 and without installing them all and seeing what each one is like they all look very similar
I like a fairly stock look - clean, tidy but not too minimalistic, but not busy, loud and in you face either (power consuming).
For the past 2 years i've been using the Chrome Rings clock/weather widget from OneMoreClock (copied from the Motorola Razr i think?) which was lovely but looks dated now, i like the 4x2 widget size but would happily use one at 4x1.
so any input/help from anyone would be great and thanks in advance :highfive:
