Having an annoying issue - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I've been rethemeing some things on my own but can't figure out this one problem. the little blue circle on the drop down menu. When i simply color change to red and re flash. It comes out all stretched.

Pixelated power menu

When I access the volume or power menu the background is very pixelated. It's not that serious but if anyone knows what causes this I'd appreciate it.

[Request] Remove blue highlight in dual window.

Can or has someone made a way to hide the blue highlight in dual window so apps have a good blend with each other ?
