[ROM][Desire_HD_Gingerbread_Sense_Port][3/11/11][v1.40_Released]

Hey guys this is the Desire hd/HTC Ace ginger bread leak Port, so far the only difference between this rom, and the hushan leak is the app drawer, you can see the difference in the screenshots. And it also has like 2 or 3 diferent widgets/apps. Anyways lets get to whats working and whats not. Btw People tell me this rom is quite Fast.

You dont have to wipe data if your already on v1.20, if you come from another rom then yes you need to wipe data.

Known Issue:
When you long press at home screen rosie might crash, it happens at random, don't worry it still works fine just try again.
When selecting the htc default theme rosie will crash do to the live wallpaper that theme/skin uses is broken, rest work fine

ye i was reluctant to release it, since its basically sense ginger from homersp(the differences are in the introduction), plus i had some issues with someone over at the glacier dev section. but now hes banned, so i decided to repost my ports over at xda again. this rom has been out for 2 days now.

Why is Homersp banned? What is with this place, used to be the one stop shop for ROMs, but they keep banning people.

i agree with you haha. im flashing different roms every day!

when changing the settings for UPDATES for sense, etc...it just reverts back to 1 hour.
also is it possible to change mms size to 3000 like on virtuous?

Is it safe to assume that the virtuous kernels will not work on this?

this is the second sense that ive flashed today and i would say that this is the #bawse of them all. What really sold me hands down was the noti curtain. recent apps AND quick settings? not to mention the diff widgets that ive not seen on other sense roms. like the flip clock with friends update instead of weather and the other new ones i havent seen yet. 0_o found my new daily driver !

wow, i've been trying to port by myself, but it doesn't boot. if you're willing, can you share to me the guide, i want to port it, and share it my result to this forum...

Flashed over homersp's rom with no problems. Nice work

Really liking this ROM, great job!
Few things to report...
GPS works great (tested using GPS Test from market)
Shutter sound on camera is still on even when not checked
Had to restore my apns and reboot to get data going.

In the dialer we have only 3 options in villain rom and in the original theme, there are 5! so I couldn't fit them, but still tried to get them alright...

i mean ,Look at the wifi icon in your second screen shot Its not in the middle. lol

Ao ur willing to help right?....start decompiling the system.apk, navigate to res/layouts...then look at the lines inside the xmls to where it says padding.....modify them one by one, flash them on ur device and see what happens....what im saying is, not all of us are java engineers so, pls bare with us or help! It isnt easy....

Did you get permission from Crysis21.
Last i heard he didn't allow the port as he said he will do it himself. A topic regarding this is in the themes section

I have given him proper credits, but ok, I'll take his permission too...

i appreciate the hardwork u have done but should ask permission first.. i tried porting one theme and i am using it but the aurthor didnt give permison to distribute as he will port it him self. Sort of a repect to their hardwork

Honey3d 1.1 |sense 3.0

As a favor to Samuel, I'm starting the thread for our rom. If you've got questions, this is the place to ask them.
I'll start things off with one of my own: Since I installed v1.1 and the Honey 3D Theme v1, my Market icon reverted to that rather sickly green color. Is there an easy way to get the custom icon back...maybe re-installing the theme? BTW, the first thing I did after installing the theme was to use Bloat Freezer to freeze Market Updater, so I was surprised when it reverted.

Please tell me this forum isn't going in the same direction as the Inspire forum. Its OK to chat about puppies and the weather in the Dev section, but if one asks a rom related question it's infraction city lol.
On a different note, anybody have a link to the honey3d neon theme that they would care to share? I have looked but can't seem to find a working link.

find the present boot zip and replace it. It's probably somewhere in /data/local or /system/media I believe. Also, the sound is in a seperate file so no it doesn't include sound.

Can you please also upload the downanimation zip?

Stock Desire's software does not have a downanimation, at least mine never had

Please move this thread from development.

Hold on a sec, I can agree with you that it can be moved and that it can be found within 5 seconds on google but didn't you notice how fast it helped someone? By the way, this will be on google's suggestions now and not all of HTC's stock bootanimations have the same resolution as the original Desire, just saying.
If you consider this spam or wrong in any way, either ask an admin to move it or to delete it. I did not post the thread to annoy people in any way, but to help others like it helped me. I hope you understand.

A rom can come with an other bootanimation. If you take the stock and change it or use it as your bootanimation, I do consider it some way of development.

I get your point about helping, but really, this belongs in desire themes and apps section...... There is no arguing on that...
No offense, but About forum admin , he'll surely move it when he visits here, but that just increases their work......

The desire has never had a stock downanimation as far as I can remember, sorry
Though I found a downanimation for it which is black instead of white in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1210243

U kidding? U came here for "thanks" ? This is just aosp rom with theme. Everyone can download that time for free from google play. Already theme engine customize everything like apps, settings etc. So this is pathetic. Sorry, but it's not forum for "thankfans" but for developers, true developers. Peace.

if you cant get thanks for helping each other you have to try to download themes and sell it as your "own" rom
