Hi friend.......
First thing is....you are not bricked!!!!
Second thing....this has happened to almost everyone here.......
Third thing......I think I can solve for you.......
Can you go to here, my thread for my own semi-brick:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20687063&postcount=233
It has links for ROM, 2.3.6. [Oh...Oh...dead link]
[I see andy post different link, use that for ODIN flashable package....it's prob I8150XXKK1_I8150OXXKJ6_I8150XXKK1_HOME.tar.md5]
Flash as One Package, Check One Package/Auto Reboot/Protect OPS
You got ODIN, right, and ancora.ops......if not, let us know.
BTW, this is not Romanian ROM. It is Multi-CSC, English OK, no branding from Local Carrier.....in CSC OXX means Multi-CSC, so it's OK and safe.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=765032
Here is the description of CSC´s (included country variants):
DBT (Germany specific)
OXA *Multi CSC* (for France, Germany, Italy, Poland, UK, UK & Ireland)
OXE *Multi CSC* (for Baltic, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine)
OXX *Multi CSC* (for Austria, Baltic, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Switzerland)

You will need to re-root and all the other stuff after this, good practice!!!
And, KIES won't like your new F/W, so phuck KIES......who cares
KJ6 Just means it is 2011-10-v6.....but it is 2.3.6........
KK1 means 2011-11-v1........
Best of luck

I downloaded this rom here http://hotfile.com/dl/136341547/541a9dc/I8150XXKK1_OXXKJ6_COA_Romania_Android_2.3.6.rar.html

Good man....hope we helped.....this is good, nobody is left to struggle alone!!!
BTW, is it ROM with I8150XXKK1_I8150OXXKJ6_I8150XXKK1
OXX means Multi-CSC, which supports many Euro Languages, including English(Ireland)....but without Meteor or EMobile shyte.
CSC = Customer Sales Code or Consumer Software Customisation??
In Phone/PDA:
XX means Region....Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom
KK1 means Year 2011 Month November Revision 1
[Year 2001 = A........Year 2011 = K]...........[Month Jan = A......... Month December = L]

File says XEU.......generic, unbranded UK.......it seems OK!!! on first look.....
But: I8150XXLA2_OXXKL4_XEU_Android_2.3.6.zip
XXLA2....means Phone/PDA F/W
XX Region is Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom and
LA2....means Year 2012, Month Jan, Revision 2
OXXKL4........CSC values are ambiguous???
OXX...........means OXX means unbranded Multi-CSC, which supports many Euro Languages
KL4....means Year 2011, Month November, Revision 4
Which is all OK......
But then there is the XEU....does this refer to CSC also???
As I said, XEU.......generic, unbranded UK CSC.....so, two CSC values.....
But, I think it's just academic, it should not matter!!!
AS for Messages not being sent, you set up the APN's for your provider???
Settings/Wireless and network/Mobile networks/Access Point Names.....maybe important
Who is that, O2, Voda, Tesco????
May be important, as I don't think all Irish Providers are included in the generic CSC xml files, like customer.xml, thers.xml, etc......

Im with meteor. Checked there and few of the settings seem to be different also few more on the phone that are not listed on the website, so going to give them a ring. Flashing the new rom as i type so see if that has any effect

Nice to know this. But the Malaysia roms found on SamMobile are branded for certain carriers. Is there a brand-free rom somewhere?

U can also take a look at http://samsung-updates.com/gt-i8150-galaxy-w/
the latest firmware is still DXLC1 for malaysia and singapore. The carriers are compatible for singapore too. I always travel around singapore and malaysia. It works perfectly. (I am using Hybrid2 ROM with DXLC1 baseband.)
You also can use DXLC1 with XSE Region code (Indonesia). It's not carrier locked.
Thanks a lot, guys!

Mobile network not available

Hi everyone,
Got the above message on a Galaxy Y GT-S5360 in the UK.
Always just used it as an MP3 player so never used it to make calls, etc. Was running Jellyblast V3 previously (had no network on that either) but decided to return to stock and use the phone.
Flashed S5360_XXLA2_OXXLA2_XXLA2_by_Doky.zip via ODIN so now have the following:
PDA: S5360XXLA2
PHONE: S5360XXLA2
CSC: S5360XXLA2
Android version: 2.3.6
Baseband version: S5360XXLA2
I’ve looked on XDA and throughout the internet but can’t find an answer. I am probably making a silly mistake. Not had this problem before with a long time flashing on my S2
Any ideas?
Thank you
Tim
Maybe you don't have a sim card? Haha

My father-in-law got it from Carphone Warehouse in Chester in the UK about a year or so ago.
He used it for a while with an Orange PAYG SIM then gave it to me. I put another Orange SIM in it but never used it as a phone and flashed a custom ROM immediately. I played a lot of music on it and have been trying to get a network on it. I have tried the Orange SIM I put in it and also an O" PAYG SIM which I bought yesterday. Both show no network available, whatever I dial.
Thanks again

[Q] Tap Pro 12.2 SM-T900 deodexed stock roms or customs roms, can you make it ?

Hi all,
I recently rooted my Tab Pro SM-T900 and as I did for my Note 2, I would like to custom it (systemUI.apk, framework.apk etc...)
But my stock rom is odexed. I don't know how to deodex it (I tried xUltimate with lots of tutorials but nothing works).
Can someone make this stock rom rooted deodexed ?
my rom is KOT49H.T900XXUANB5 (T900XXUANB5_T900OXXANB2_XEF)
Thanks by advance.
I can make a stock deadened rooted rom for you. I don't have the 12.2 though I have the 10.1 so I can't be sure what the correct path is for the boot image. You will have to find that out for me. It probably is
/dev/block/platform/dw_mmc.0/by-name/boot
But I need you to browse there in a file manager to check for me.

I emailed you the link to the rom. You have to flash it in TWRP recovery not odin. To make it I used a program called the kitchen that I found somewhere on this forum. You need a linux pc or a windows pc running a linux virtual machine in order to use it. I will look for the link and post it here for you. Hope that helps.

SM-N930FD firmware flash help

Hi All, I've got a Galaxy note Dual sim SM-N930FD
But it currently has a "three" branded firmware on it, I want to flash it with a generic firmware with no carrier branding.
I'm familiar with flashing but have no idea which firmware I need to use for this, I'm in the UK and the handsets CSC is H3G
thanks for any help
You can use the N930F firmware too.

From my personal experience I've tried various different official stock roms from United Arab Emirates, Germany, UK, Panama, New Zealand, South Africa and Italy. I have not seen any differences in language selection apart from all of them not having English (Canada), and some of them still have the option to charge 80 percent in the second latest update!

I do but its an August firmware (N930FXXU1BPHA) that we cannot use anymore. I've tried flashing it over any September or later updated roms but always get an error on Odin. It's useless if you're on a September or later rom in other words lol. The only way to get back 100% is flash Hydra.

I am new to all this stuff, I also tried to flash older stock rom but got error message, what I got from this is if you find out the way to install older bootloader on your phone then you can flash older stock rom, so far I m looking for that but could not find any guide on this.

I have the same phone, sm-n930fd... Which firmware is best for English speaking person? Or does it not matter since it is international? I don't really need any update since i have the latest with root and TekHD's hybrid 5.1 ROM....but I know less than you so I ask anyhow.

I think your modem software is more important to your local region. I had the original english FD version from Singapore and switched to the local F version where I currently live. And my internet speed just tripled. ?
Sent from my SM-N930F using XDA-Developers mobile app
I have the latest firmware and only rooted then flashed TedHD's hybrid 5.1 and now have 100% battery. If interested, you can go to his site and download. It made me so happy I quickly sent donation for his work and thank you note.

Region Firmware

I bought my F900F from Thailand, and I stay in India, I downloaded the firmware from the Sammobile and flashed using ODIn but no luck I am still on Thai Firmware not Indian but whereas on the Sammobile site it says for India.
Can anyone guide me or help me. I want Indian firmware as For Samsung Pay and other things are much different for 2 regions.

I'll try to help you. Please tell me the exact steps you took to flash the firmware including what Odin said when the flashing was complete.

I just waited it for to reboot and started normal, i didn't do anything else but it was the same for Thailand only.
Exact steps:
I downloaded the INU firmware from sammobile
ODIN 3.1.3
Put the extracted files in AP / CP / BL/ CSC
Ran the update
It happened and completed -> Pass
Then i waited for phone and it was still Thai Firmware.

Didn't you ask the same question on SamMobile?
You can't change the CSC from Thailand (THL) to India (INU)
