I have the ringke case on my GSM nexus and LOVE it! I tried the case on my brother's lte nexus and it does not fit.

I had the ringke slim aphine white case, I love the way it looks and the slimness it looks but it scratch your phone, in my case it did scratch mine, noe I'm using 3 buck gel case which not scratch

Oh... well if the Ringke slim cases aren't for CDMA Galaxy Nexus... guess I made my choice lol
- Galaxy Nexus

Yeah the Ringke slim case scratched the top of my GSM nexus as well. But in my opinion it looks better with the case on anyway.

I rather have my phone free from scratch even it wears a cheapo case, I ordered sgp Neo hybrid case, I think it look more sexy than ringke case and offer more protection as well. I saw many good thing about sgp, I'll find out soon. I disappointed on ringke case because it scratches the phone while put/remove it often.

I have the incipio feather case for my GSM Nexus and i love it. Fits well and the matte finish on it is great as well, adds some more grip to the phone.

Incipio FTW
I have been using the Incipio Feather case for a week now and love it. I got the gray one so it matches the GNex color perfectly.

I need a better case hybrid only.

I have the incipio case verizon sells which within two weeks discolored and I'd rather not use. I then bought the seidio active which is awesome except dirt and dust sticks to it too much and even sticks inside creating tons of like nicks and mini mini scratches which annoys me. Can anyone help me find another good case? I prefer the black/white together look that both of these have.

Anyone have pictures of the kraken or defender next to a case the size of my incipio or seidio

from the way ur saying, sgp neo hybrid is the way to go...i have the silver and red, and both look stunningļ¼ and it hasnt been discolored after a month of use so no worries there

Bleh reviews say it doesn't fit the lte version perfectly. That looks like it would be about perfect and at least a lot less dust attraction.

Sprint Nexus case recommendations

Looking for a good case for my Sprint Nexus. Getting it on the first of May and I want to be prepared. I want something hard but not plastic. Also not bulky, something I can slide in my pocket easily.
Highly recommend the Rearth Ringke Slim. Keeps the phone slim and somewhat protected.

Really not a lot of good options for the cdma gnex. Dizttonic is good for a tpu case. Sgp neo hybrid is a nice case but doesn't fit the cdma version perfectly.

Thin "barely there" case

Im looking for a very perfect fitting case for my gnex, I love my naked phone so I'd like a pretty thin case just to prevent scratches and minimal drops. I want something that allows for easy pressing of the buttons as most cases make that pretty hard. Anyone have a great case they'd recomend?

Probably the sgp capsule case.

i guess. the sgp and diztronic are both tpu cases, so there is no major difference. for the diztronic i like the button cutouts, don't have to worry if the case makes it hard to push buttons
incipio feather or the ringke are pretty thin cases

I have the case and no, it's not barely there. (Though I still like it for other reasons)
@OP, you should take a look at Rearth Ringke and SGP Ultra Hybrid.
I use the diztronic smoked gray translucent case. It looks nice being semi transparent, adds very minimal bulk, and comes with a nice screen protector. I ordered a skinomi also but haven't put it on yet because I don't really like the feel that type of protector gives, so the quality of the protector that came with my tpu case was a nice surprise.

You want one of these. They're like the ringke cases but a lot cheaper. They are surprisingly good quality.

do any of these thin cases fit with the extended battery? (2000mah)
Incipio has a great light case.
my other phone is a Nokia n900 maemo
Ringke slim fits the extended battery without the cover (cdma version). It's perfect for exactly what you described, small drops and scratches. Looks great too.

I carried my Nexus One for 2.5 years with out a case and had no problems. However, if you're going to get one, get an Incipio. I've got one on my Tab and it is really nice.

Ya I usually run my phone naked but I'm a diesel mechanic so with my phone sitting in and on my toolbox I'd like to prevent bad scratches. I've already got some pretty upsetting marks

New cases recommended?

Just wondering I've been using otterbox cases forever now and want to try something new..... is there any cases besides otter box that has port covers ? But is thinner then the otterboxes ?

If you can live without the port covers you should definitely give the UAG case a look.
Ballistic sg max has port covers

I love my otter box, but check out Trident. The Aegis and Kraken are on par with the Commuter and Defender. Otterbox stool wins IMO.

***Best Nexus 5 rugged cases***

Hi everybody.
This is my first day with my nexus 5 and I love it. I have a spigen slim armor case for it and like that to. The only thing is that the lip around the screen is very thin and I do not know if it would protect against a drop. I also have an iloome flex glass screen protector. Do any of you know if otter box or trident will make cases for the nexus 5. I am worried it will break with what I have on it now.
Thanks

Otter box says they don't have any plans on making a case for us. I-bason and ballistic , sedio all make some great cases. I also have the slim armor I feel safe enough with its lip. But on the other hand you do have a glass screen protector which will surly be closer to the lip.

I-Blason Armorbox is what I have. Being an electrician my phone takes some knocks every now and then. With this case on it feels indestructible

Don't have one, but if I have to use it, I would definitely give the Tech21 case a try (you may wanna read through page 3 for more pics)
Some drop test videos in YouTube are quite impressive.
Thank you for giving suggestions. Do you guys think I will be OK with an iloome .12 mm glass screen protector and the slim armor also do you know of and slim armor drop tests?

I just retired my i-blason case. Unfortunately the corner rubbers started to pop off and yesterday I couldn't find one of the rubber corners. The phone doesn't fit tight and snug in the case. Now I'm rockin tech21 case. So far so good.

Where would I find the tech 21 case can you send me a link?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using xda app-developers app
Its in this forum topic(Nexus 5 Accessories). I'm on mobile using tapatalk so I can't link it. They can be found in tmobile stores for 29.99 and in the tech21 thread (when you find it), some of the last pages, you will find a link with 30%? (I think) discount. Print it out and take it to the store and the case will be yours for $22 bucks

I have one For my N5..
Pretty and nice flexible....
I have the Ballistic SG Maxx and while it's pretty bulky, it gets the job done. It comes with a holster which is always a plus. I got it on amazon for $25.

Thanks. What do you guys think about the ballistic asparia now known as urbaniye vs the incipio dualpro? Which one would you choose.

Due to the fact of style I would go with the ballistic however I think both would offer the same protection

Thanks!!

I have the Ballistic SG Maxx too, I love it. It's a little bulky but feels solid. The only con for me is the hard screen protector, I love the idea, but it feels a little odd, and takes a little time to settle on the screen.
I think I might order the AEGIS. It looks promising but I wanna see some reviews first.

I would choose the Ballistic Tough Jacket MAXX (SG MAXX) for protection. I own this case and I am very satisfied with it. The only concern I have is that it attracts lint easily.
From reading reviews, I have learned that the Urbanite's coat of paint can peel off.
The Incipio Dualpro looks cheap and flimsy. The reviews are not good for it so I would not buy it.
i like the Trident N5 case I had a trident for my evo 3d many moons ago.. i always rocked otter box defender most of the time.. think ima go with the trident soon.. looks sweet
