[Q] Android 2.3.5?

With this being the most current version of Android, are there any roms that can be flashed on the slide that is running 2.3.5?? I'm kinda new to this, I just rooted my phone and am running CM7 which has 2.3.3... can any rom be flashed or only ones compatiable with the phone? Thanks!

CM7 nightlies are based on 2.3.5

Confused on new GB Rom

I have a TB, but wife still has a Inc. It's running the Sense 3.0 community ROM. I want to put a new GB ROM on it , something lean, 3.0 is just too laggy. It seems like there are no new ROMs based on the new Gingerbread official release. Is this official yet? Also, why are there no new ROMs based on it??
I saw McSense V 2.0 - it appears based upon the new GB base. You don't lose root with the new base do you?

Yup mcroms are from the new ota, they're fast for sure. All of the roms posted here are rooted

Here is the new official gingerbread ota rom rooted and deodexed. You will not loose root just flash in recovery. Its stock slim and snappy.

[Q] Galnet MIUI based on ICS, do I need another kernel?

Hi all,
I just found a ROM based on ICS, GalnetMIUI and tried to port it with JasonStein Porting Software but got a bootloop.
Since it is based on ICS, would any of the kernels of Jsaon or DOomlord work with this ROM? Or do I have to wait for an ICS kernel release?

[Q] Custom rom 4.1 and 4.0

Noob question..just wanna ask..if I'm upgrading to 4.1 jellybean can I use custom rom or mods from 4.0 gb..if I do, will I get a problem...I know there is, but just wanna ask anyway...

Hay......I have a Simoco netbook (ak7) which chipset no is wm8650......I searched that model no in google and downloaded a custom,prerooted Rom by Uberoid and install it instead of the original stock Rom.....
The custom Rom is working great.....but the problem is...both custom and stock Roms are in gingerbread (android version 2.2)
Can anyone give me the download link and flashing instructions of any version of icecreamsandwich and/or jellybean Rom of that (wm8650) model.....????
