ok so how'd you do it?

Okay this is how it went. The back has a rubberized coating that when sanded leaves groves. I also had to use a higher grit because the coating is tough. Sanded off the logo. Then attempted to leather it out. My trimming wasn't up to my standards so I took it off and sanded the glue off. The Giants won the Super Bowl and I broke out the blue krylon. Light coats letting it dry completely. I have another back (bought 2). Going to take my time.

No clear coat yet might add more to it.

My P6 with silver back

I wasn't a big fan of the markings on the back, So i sanded it and gave it some vertical brushed pattern

Wow mate took guts to sandpaper your phone but it does look sweet.
Sent from my HUAWEI P6-U06 using xda app-developers app
I have some small markings as well despite the fact that the case is on all the times and they annoy me but i would try to find a way to paint it there than make the all the paint dissapear. Any ideas what paint to use? The silver back looks sweet but i would miss the logo....

The red outline was added to show what part of the tablet I'am talking about
If anyone has an nexus 7 2013 you see the shiny full black plastic that wraps around the tablet I dropped it smashing a little bit of the plastic off no actual damage but still is annoying.

[Q] Frame seperated?

Bought this (still in the mail) and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on the best fix? Parts are cheap but I've got 2 part epoxy, jewelry quality hot glue and super glue in my tool kit so I was wondering if anyone has glued one of these back together and how it held up?

I used superglue and it worked until it fell off of a counter.
High temp hot glue did the trick, I use this stuff to mount neodymium magnets, the only non perm way I've found that can hold onto those little suckers, and if you screw up you can hit with a heat gun and rework it..

I didn't actually think about them. Glad you got it fixed.

Sorry for my bad english, i'm french
Thank you for you answers
Just put it in a bowl of rice it will suck all the moisture. Or you can put the phone on sun but don't keep it there for too long.
I don't think that it's moisture, on my device I have a similar look on the camera lens.
I'd say there is a coating, which gets rub off after a while. Nothing you can do besides to get a new backcover, or remove the coating all together.
