I seriously miss Camera+, but the built in editing functions in the Gallery do come pretty close.

I use different ones but I really like touch retouch

BeFunky and PicSay Pro are pretty good. Check em out!

Photoshop for android

Photoshop Touch by Adobe. Hands down the most powerful.

I didn't know you Nexus people don't have the Photo and Video editor that come free with the Note. Maybe someone with a Nexus can pull the apk off a Note rom and try and see if it works on the Nexus.

That is because the Adobe suite of Andriod apps is for tablets only.

While I agree that Photoshop Touch is the most powerful image editor for Android, the fact that it only handles a max resolution of 1600x1600 makes it useless for what it offers.
It's like a Multi-track audio editor, which offers every feature imaginable, but it only saves AM quality mp3's...
If they remove that limitation, it would instantly be more awesome.

Best camera app for the Galaxy S3?

Where camera app for the Galaxy S3 produces the highest image quality? I'm going to use the stock camera app as the baseline.

Camera Zoom FX works well for me with the exception of a couple things.
1) Loads slower than stock camera.
2) No video capability.
I really like that I can click anywhere on the screen to take the pic. I don't have to click a particular button.
yup.
ProCapture is nice.
I'm an i9300 user, but can't you guys use hyper-x's modded stock camera app? or does it not work for you guys

Have anyone done a comparison between Vignette and ProCapture? What makes you think ProCapture is better? My search suggest that Vignette's 3.1MP Superfine option produces better quality than the stock app. I don't know what kind of options that ProCapture have that pushes it above the competition.
I prefer using the Stock cam overall, but I do like to use Aviary and Pixlr-o-matic every now and again. FxCamera looks cool, but the lack of live filters is a big usability issue for me.
Pro capture is a good one for power use. Pudding Camera looks good also, but I didn't really like the lack of options in it. Also pictures didn't seem as sharp as with the Stock cam. I can't say much about Vignette based on the free demo, which isn't good enough to make me want to buy it. However, it does seem to have some nice features for taking shots and editing them.

Ahah yeah, you right. It's only that I saw DeluxeFX have greatest photo effects to edit 'cause I'm using Instagram but I'm bored of the same effects that it provide. And I want to modify my photos before and then upload to Instagram^^ But it's ok, I'll try to make something with the available stuff for Android Thanks again for the advice..

Note 2 vs note 1 photo editing

Does the note 1 (n7000) have the same picture editor capabilities as the note 2(N7100) ? Thinking of getting one as a gift but the deciding factor is the photo editor. Id rather buy a cheaper note 1 if possible.

You can download any number of photo editing apps from the market that will blow the stock ones out of the water. And I am not talking about apps that just supply a zillion filters.
Googles latest Snapseed is excellent. As are PicsPlayPro, Aviary, PicSayPro, Pixlr Express, AfterFocus, EasyFocus, TouchRetouch…the list is long.
If you are serious about android photo editing, manipulation and retouching go with the Note II. I did.

Does it replace the stock camera app? Or it functions as a separate app?
Got taken down again, can anyone upload it here on xda?
Beamed from my Maguro.

It functions as a separate app.
There are a few issues(even if in beta), but I like the overall concept.
Panoramic mode crashes
No sphere mode
Not as many photo options, eg. timer, resolution, exposure.
Records video in 720p
No other video options
Minor for me:
Swiping near edge brings up pie for me.
This is cool ... Couldn't get the wrist twist to open camera app function to work, and not sure what the slo camera setting does (unable to activate) but I do find it pretty quick to use. It's missing a few of the basic aosp settings, most importantly exposure comp. Autofocus algorithm seems to be much faster than cyanogenmod camera. Def prefer slide to zoom. If the camera on the gnex wasn't so crappy and I didn't need to exposure compensate as often as I do, I'd probably use this. Really looking forward to the new cm camera though, hopefully they can glean some design ideas from this.
Thanks for posting!
