Calendar widget help - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

Hello.
im not sure that is the right place to ask, i try to use the search and i did end up trying more them 13 different widgets, but none exactly the way i wanted.
I looking for a calendar widget that show me the tasks/appointments that i have for the current day.
Must show the same information that i have in my TWcalendar for the day.
Must be able to set it with transparent background
must be auto resizable (or scrollable) in number of rows depending of how much stuff there is in the current day.
the almost perfect one i found was Simple Calendar Widget
The only thing is it shows my appointment/task for the next day and not for the current day.
Is there anyway to change this, or any other widget similar to this one?
Check the picture

You see on this picture the current day is 18 may, but the detalis of the calendar are always for the days after... 19, 20 22... i just need the current day stuff ...

Have you tried to check the option for "Show past events" and unchecked "Dismiss on end" under Calendars -> Advanced behaviour? With this Simple Calendar Widget shows me appointments of the same day
Additionally, you can also restrict the number of searched days to 1 day.

perfect m8, that exactly what i was looking for
Ty for the help that worked

Thanks people i was looking for this too! (a calendar widget that show me the tasks/appointments that i have for the current day.)

htchome-weather tab is fixed in "yesterday"

Hi all
yesterday (saturday) I installed the JUVS_HTC_Home_Color and works fine. But this morning (monday) the tab weather there was a moon and if I ckick when appears several days the first one is "Sunday" and I think this is not correct.
the first day should be Monday. I syncronize again and it changes correctly but should not change automaticlly the day in the "One-DAy" tab?
tnaks in advance.
Same for me.. but I think it's just how the tab is intended to work.. I agree it is a bit s**t..
I used to use the weather today item from SPB and it is much better. the tool downloads the forecasts for the next 5 days and automatically updates the information shown to the correct day.. the thing is that otherwise I like the HTC home thing and I can't use both HTC and SPB plug-in cause it takes just too much place.. so I guess I m stuck with it...
-Ka
Correct me if i'm wrong, today is sunday but you think it's monday, so your weather should say sunday not monday.
Regards Polleman
sorry It was my mistake.
Today is Sunday and I installed the plugin yesterday (saturday). So when I checked the pda (sunday morning) appeared still the info of the saturday becuase the first day in "several days" view was sunday and should be monday...
the issue is that the weather main view do not change and probably maintain the info of the last day you download or syncronize the forecast. is this correct?
thanks
You can select if you want to download the waether automatically or manually.
Maybe that's your problem ?

no, this is not the problem.
The problem is when the date changes in the htc home weather "one day" view still appeas a previous date (when it was syncronize) and not "today".
spb weather works very well in this sense because when it is 0:00 automatically changes and put as the first forecast the new day....
thanks

[Q] warm 2.3 question

so far i'm loving this rom, working a lot better than the last rom i tried. something i noticed, was same on warm 2.2, the android calender widget is unreadable for me. on warm 2.3 the font is white with white background. i've tried new fonts, no help. anyone know how i can fix this? please and thank you
Just seeing if I'm looking at the proper widget, is it either of these two? Cuz I use HTC's widget.

yes, the one on the right
Gotcha, the issue is actually the widget itself. Since there's only been one release and active development is non-existent, bugs were left to us to find. I believe you'd have to edit the widget apk to display text in a different font. Unfortunately, I have no experience editing files so I can't walk you through it.
Edit: all I can do is offer up alternatives, line using the HTC widget (the 4x1 horizontal one) or trying a different app entirely like the superb "Jorte Calendar" which has a TON of customizations. It's available in the market.
i wanna thank you for your response, that calender seems to be doin what i want. got another question i hope someone might be able to help with. still on warm 2.3, all of a sudden the contact pix in the stock messaging app are gone. everywhere else they seem fine, just in messaging they disappeared. anyone else run into this? thoughts on how to fix?
i thought maybe another app caused it so i reflashed but after a day or so, same thing happened.

ZW requests

I'm going to try my hand at making some request widgets. Get crazy with it, I wanna really push the envelope on my learning curve. Go nuts.

Hello!
I was trying to learn all the date functions, #DRd , #DRm' , et al. but I cant seem to find a solution for my very simple problem.
Im trying to count (and display) the number of days, hours, minutes that have passed since I did something (like shave or watch pr0n).
Im really frustrated, all I had were the built-ins (which seemed to always count to a future date and not up from a date). Title says it all. Cheers!
How about an sunrise sunset arc countdown bar.
Basically, I have a picture of the earth on my wallpaper and I want to see if a status bar can decline around half the globe from sun-up to sun-down. Like one would do with a battery percentage or a clock.
Thanks.
Not really that hard of a request (to you at least) but I really want this clock theme on Zooper since mClock doesnt work for me. Heres a pic and also the .xml from mClock not sure if its workable with Zooper. Thanks for your consideration.

[Q] won't show calendar info beyond 9th of April

I've set up a widget with several calendar events to be listed.
I've used the following code. ..
#C0SEEE#[sr=0.9] #C0Sdd#[/sr] - #C0TITLE# #Dh#[sr=0.7]#Da#[/sr]
Then the following code for the next event. ..
#C1SEEE#[sr=0.9] #C1Sdd#[/sr] - #C1TITLE# #Dh#[sr=0.7]#Da#[/sr]
And so on.
It works fine, except now I've noticed that it will not show any event beyond April 8th.
If I move that event forward to the 8th it shows up. Then I move it back to the 9th and it shows nothing.
I thought perhaps there was a maximum number of days away that it can display, but today I have the same issue as 2 days ago.
Has anyone come across this before?
Has anyone come across this issue?
I have several widgets now, each showing different lists of calendar events, and all of them refuse to show any events past the end of march.
How can this be?
It seems I am the only one worth this problem.
Does everyone else see calendar events in April?
Already if I get confirmation on that I can establish whether it's a glitch in my widget or zooper in general.

2 screen shots of my calendars. The first as you can see shows all events in February and March but at the bottom should be 3 more events but as they're in April and beyond they do not appear.
The 2nd shows my baseball calendars. The Mets one for example shows spring training games in march while the giants one should show regular season games in April, but again it won't list them. It's been like this since I first posted this query.
Could it have any relation to the fact that daylight saving time adjusts on March 29th in Europe?

Maybe that could be it. I have no problems displaying any events but then again I'm in the US (Hawaii actually and we don't have daylight savings time).

Zooper running when screen off?

hi,
As you can see in my screenshot, every time I turn on my Samsung S8+ Zooper widget take a while to update.
I like Zooper a lot, but the main reason I've to use it is I need to check hour/date asap... mainly in the middle of the night, when I'm sleeping.
I mean, I don't wanna wait nor check it against the upper right corner's clock (very, very tinny font)
Are there any way to keep Zooper updating widget while screen is off?
Or at least, any way to update Zooper as soon as screen is on?
br,
cesar.

I was under the impression that your phone definitely has a nice clock widget already (& clawks by Zooper is great. But as I was saying before I was under the impression that where you design your template under all of those Global's and weather things that you see say whether you want it to be shown Celsius or Fahrenheit it's pretty much all right there in front of you on any Zooper Widget templates where you're designing it I don't know how you missed it actually could be your phone is one I'm not familiar with but that doesn't change the Zooper U. I. You could probably Google that question and get the answer much quicker that I just tried to give you this probably half wrong
