[THEME] Bloo Theme 1.4.3 [11/15/11][Stock Deodex/Calkulin's/Starburst]

This is a theme for STOCK DEODEXED & CALKULIN's& STARBURST ROM'S. (with Viper coming soon) It is mostly just the things I like the most with a twist on the colors. I'm still working on it but I think it is ok to share at this point. If there is something in the theme you would like to see, or not see, or whatever......please post in the thread so all can see. Changes
(v1.4.3) 11/15 - Added 5x5 app drawer and 5 icon dock to Stock & Starburst rom's. Fixed issue with Starburst rom (works now) Added more themed images.
(v1.4.2) 11/11 - Added more themed images. 5 icon dock in Calkulin's rom is working with the theme.
(v1.4) 11/9 - Added Blue Overscroll and more themed images.
(v1.3) 11/7 - Changed the the cell signal bars to colored stock like. And replaced wifi signal icon too. Also replaced battery with 1% increment. Simply toned those down a bit to make it not too flashy but still get some of the goodies we all like in a theme. Again I only updated the first screenshot to show these changes.
(v1.2) 11/5 - I have added themed battery, signal & wifi taskbar icons and some other stuff too.
To install download Bloo Theme and copy to sd card. Wipe cache & dalvik. Flash with CWM.
I always recommend you backup your data before flashing this or anything!

Sweet! I prefer blue over green or orange (yuk). Your still working on it, are there plans to theme the signal and 3g icons to blue as well? If so please dont go all crazy with them, there are a couple themes out right now that would be Bad Ass if the signal and 3g/WiFi icons weren't so over the top

THANKS. I know what you mean. I have left them alone for now simply because im not sure what to do with them yet. I kinda like the simple look of the stock, i did however change the color of the up down arrows for 3G and the signal strength of the 4G. If you have any suggestions let me know.

I have been playing around with a few ideas but have not settled on anything yet. But there will definitely be batt %.

it's all obviously up to you OP, but the changes you made are starting to look like other roms and a little over the top, stock + dark blue is the way to go imo.

well I do know all about extended settings you can find a ics version here:
http://android.gcfam.net/devs/andy/MIUIv4/
but it looks like it was made for the nexus which was the first official phone miui supported with ics but that particular extended settings is known to work with other devices who got the unofficial miui v4 you will also need the extended settings apk here:
http://android.gcfam.net/devs/andy/ICS/
since is no longer just a zip you flash is now a two part thing but unfortunately we dont have a miui ics at the moment on this phone so i can try the ics version I did try regular extended settings yesterday and I got status bar force close which im not happy about since this is my favorite miui mod that i have always use since I had my inc2 so i wrote Andy the guy who made it so that he could look into it for our device at least for the version of miui we have at the moment
hope this helps I dont know what phone you have maybe you have somethings different with miuiv4 so if you need some help trying the extended settings let me know I'll be most happy to help I know sometimes it can be tricky to get it to work

Miui is a chinese rom is pretty dam awesome fast to you can say it was made to look some what like the iphone and in my opinion is the most customizable rom out there

Can't get this (tronlegacy4.mtz) to install for some reason. I've added it to my sd card, selected the file from manage themes>import from sd card but it doesn't get added to my list of local themes.

I dont have a Nexus 4... yet, but you will be seeing me more soon enough . Also ignore the Sprint in the carrier place.. screenshots are from my Gnex xD.

Your green theme looks incredible. Installed on xylon rom but, the calculator buttons did not have any symbols or numbers after install and rebooting the phone. The dialer was ok.
Any suggestions as to whether this may be a theme issue or rom issue?

Weird. I've never heard that before. I would say ROM probably... I'm not entirely sure. I don't mess with colors in the calculator just the images.

Just tried the blue one and same issue. Can not see numbers in the keys for the calculator. Perhaps it is not compatible w Xylon ROM now so, will keep files and try on next Xylon update and report back. Both themes look incredible specially the green one. Great work!!!

On second thought it could be because of the patching. I might need to redo the patching on the buttons which is weird because the N4 is XHDPI just like the galaxy nexus.. and it has no issues. Stupid .9.patch

Okay applied the free version of the red theme. One problem I am facing is that the contacts app white text for the fields. So when I try to edit a contact, it is impossible to see the text on a white background.

Yeah I haven't quite fixed that yet. Haven't had the time. Won't have the time for a week or two when I get my replacement graphics card.

I really love the themes, though blue is all I've used so far. I was going to mention that I'm ridiculous about wanting a solid black background for mms, but the link in your signature covered that, kudos to you! =)

You can change the color of the toggle text, but you cannot change the colors of the toggles themselves. This will blur out the toggle image

It shows bro. The quality of the icons is amazing. Gonna rock this for a while. Great on battery as well since its only black and white.

Cb any chance of incorporating an S5 mms instead of the N3 like Wally did? Too hard to go back to N3 for so many reasons especially the quick reply feature.

Yea the 4g icon is a old att one I made a while back.
After I finish up the side project I'm doing on this theme I gotta reopen my keyboard thread. I've been a supreme slacker on that.

Instructions for flashing
- Be sure not to be running any other theme. It might cause issues
- Download zip(s) to your phone
- Reboot into custom recovery
- Make a backup (Don't be lazy)
- Wipe caches
- Flash theme
- Flash extras
- Reboot
To use the background and bubbles shown in the screens for Mms you must select them in settings.
Bubble style 2 for both incoming and outgoing.
Background style 2 for the transparent bg that will show the AOSP bg from the framework or background 1 for an all black one

Looks and runs GREAT! Thanks for all your efforts! The only issue is noticed so far was that I had my build.prop edited to have the Sprint lte icon. It overlapped the signal bars. I changed it back to tmo. So, no worries! Thanks again!! YOU ROCK! Darthstalker BTW.

Spoke too soon, bud. Settings have weird icons and descriptions. Continue to fc. Darthstalker doesn't have any special settings options. Idk what is causing it. Hopefully I can figure it out though. It looked GREAT!

In time you will start to see fc. My settings kept doing it so I flashed stock ROM and I good. Now starts the set up process .

Now it's complete. Could you put the symbols back on the keys though?

That's because stock settings doesn't actually have a icon for adaptive screen. It use a 1x1 white block which you see when you enable it. I'm guessing Sammy is just using that as a place holder til when or if they activate the toggle. Flash this if you wanna see if this fits right. Remember that the other toggles are different sizes, so this is just a test run to see if it sizes up right.

I haven't touched the symbols in the keyboard. The keyboard included is the same as my inverted one. The symbols disappearing is usually a wanam module effect.

No fc's flashing over Firekatv5. I had already themed with locos inverted apks and wanam, flashed this right over the top. The lobotomy theme replaced the phone contacts messaging settings etc but it did not change all of the wanam theme tweaks i made. My quick settings are the same color i changed them to yesterday but the header and pull down bar are now black. I actually really like the way it all looks now but I'm going to restore to a fresh Firekat and install the theme to see it the way it is intended to look.

Reflashed rom and theme, keyboard has symbols now. Now I'll add exposed and Wanamaker to see what happens

Flashed the dark framework (n4_black_fw_bg.zip) over the lobotomy theme to turn the dark gradients to solid black. I can pretty much say my phone looks exactly how i want it to now.
