I am in search of smooth battery back cover like it is on white model of SII. I own the black version and the cover is with texture or something but I want the smooth one like on white version of phone.

Yes it makes the phone flush with the camera, I have the black one and it finishes it off nicely!
Once fitted you can put your phone down anywhere without worrying about nasty scratches on the bottom of the phone.

Sorry friend, but that's the first place I looked for it..tried every possible combination of "Samsung", "Galaxy S2", "extended battery cover", "GT-I9100", "oem", "original"...
In fact I have 2 extended batteries, had bought the Korean version first only to find that the cover doesn't fit, battery does though..then ordered the International version for which both fit perfectly.
Am trying to find an extended battery (official 2000mAH) cover only for the international version so I can sell it or exchange...
So, if anyone has seen one on an online store..plz do let me knw..thnx
i check with samsung service center here in PH. it seems the only for sale is the standard issue and can't buy the extended battery cover only

The White Galaxy Nexus is now available on NegriElectronics for a cool $651.50. I'm personally still waiting for a stateside release for the warranty, but here's a video of the unboxing of a white one I found.

Only you can decide if its worth it. Its $52 more than the grey version from Negri. That's the price of an extended battery + cover.

No audio. It's the same phone, just different colors.
hard to tell but it looks like it has a smooth cover instead of textured. Might make it easier for those who want to put back protection on it like a zagg.
Wish they made the front white too.

thats what I thought at first too, but when you consider that the UI is very dark and the top/bottom bars are completely black, it plays better with a black bezel as you can't really tell where the UI starts and the bezel ends.
Completely agree . I like white in front too bit in the end it does end up looking better cause of the ui.

I actually think the black-grey-white combo could look nice.
Looks pretty nice. Really wish they'd make a 32GB GSM version though.
I liked they put a North Americian power charger in there. Gah, I hate my Euro charger with the adapter, such a PITA it comes unplugged all the time.
I will be ALL over this once CDMA drops.

Well I'd imagine they will offer the white battery door cover as well. They currently have this combo available for the standard GSM Nexus for $36:

This seems like a much simpler alternative to what I was originally going to do. Can't wait to see if it shows up there.

I wonder if there are any that have the same texture as the SGS2? Because I really loved the ribbed non glossy texture of the SGS2 and the SGS3's texture is a little too much of a oil magnet for me.

I like decal girl. They'll even make completely custom skins for you.
I especially like that they cut out the cap buttons rather then print them on the screen. I leave the cutouts inplace. I rather not see them at all.
They actually look pretty much exactly like in the photo. Just keep in mind that the back decal does not cover the entire battery cover for these. At least going by the pics it doesn't.
I got this one from Amazon awhile back in blue and black. $5 each. You can see that the corners are slit some exposing a bit of the back allowing it to curve to cover more of the battery cover unlike the ones in the op. On the device they looked exactly like in the pic. The wallpapers are the exact res of whichever device you bought the skin for, so they're non scrolling. I'll try n put it back on n get pics Sunday. My other phone is out on loan so no camera aside from the one on the SG3

Don't see the Vibrant (or any Galaxy S Variant). Google just gives a ton of SGS2 and 3 versions.

That's similar to the one I have now. I have a Vivid through work and bought a Barely There for it. By far my favorite case.

You could just buy another battery cover. The case you're looking only protects that part, anyway. I got a soft-touch back from ebay but I don't think it's available anymore. Makes a huge difference to the in-hand feel. The plastic back feels ridiculously cheap in comparison.

I've dropped my work phone twice and both times the case protected the corners.
Found them on gocellular.ca and it arrived today. Awesome.
