Keyboard and Case similar to T-Mobile AMEO - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Accessories

Afternoon All!
My HTC Desire has given up the ghost, and I'm in the market for a new phone. I've settled on the note, and I've been looking around for accessories.
I used to have a T-Mobile Ameo, and the keyboard and case combination worked really well. See the attachment if you want to see how it looked.
Can anyone recommend something similar for the Note? Bluetooth will be fine, but USB would be better.
If there isn't something integrated, I'd look at mashing a case/keyboard combo myself, so recommendations for the individual bits would be cool too.
Thanks.

[Q] Has anyone tried the Zagg Solo yet with the Gen8 models

HI all,
I get all the new product emails from Zagg ever since I ordered the screen protector for my A101 from them and I just got the one for the Zagg Solo bluetooth keyboard. It doesn't show any Archos models in their compatabiltiy chart, so I was curious if anyone has tried it out yet with their Gen8.
It looks pretty awesome and I have been wanting a bluetooth keyboard for my A101 so I was just curious if there is any feedback yet.
Thanks,
Pezz
I don't see a need for a wireless keyboard, when the Archos 101 has a full-sized USB port. I got one of these instead:
http://amzn.com/B003PHJJV6
No batteries, no connection problems, no signal interference, no worrying about someone intercepting my keystrokes in a public place, and a fraction of the cost.
That one looks nice, and I didn't have my hearst set on wireless. The Zagg one is just a little more generic. This one you have is cool, but it has "short keys" for windows. Would sure be nice if someone made a keyboard specifically designed for Android.
Thanks though. I like it and will probably go with that unless I see something else here soon that I like more.

[Q] case which fits apple wireless keyboard?

I found a thread on this forum the other week which held the tab and an apple wireless keyboard but after a lot of searching I can't find it again. Anyone have an idea which case it was or where I can find it?
+1 I am also in the same situation. Would love if somebody could give an answer
no one come across it yet? really should have bookmarked it.
still looking, anyone come across a case which fits the apple keyboard in it?

Are these keyboards any good ?

So I got a 10.1v model, not the standard 10.1 so pretty much any keyboard that would need the tab to slide into it is a no-go for me as the 10.1v is a few milliliters thicker.
So, unless you point me to anything else, this is the only keyboard I've encountered that I could use that is somewhat "tied" to the tablet :

These are chinese products and I'm afraid of its quality, but I don't have a choice.
Did one of you guys purchased one of these ? Are they any good ?
I tried to find something but nothing...I could go with a "floating" bluetooth keyboard is the quality is better.
Thanks !
I used this one for while, until I returned it- no complaints. I just didn't need it.

I have the original Keyboard-Case combo, meaning this:
uh can't post links, so here is the name: Samsung BKC-1B1DEBGXEG Bluetooth keyboard ...
Go out and buy it, it's awesome!
Bluetooth connection is really easy, it has a fast wake up (and you can wake your device up by pressing any key [this even unlocks a non-protection screenlock] whoo!) and a humongous long battery duration.
Additionally, the build quality is very fine!

Thinking that this might be stupid / crazy..
Well, I dont know whether this is the best thread to post this.. Please let me know if there's any other thread that to which this post has to be moved..
So my crazy / stupid question is ---
Has anyone tried using the asus keyboard dock with the samsung galaxy tab ?
I think this may be something stupid becoz i am already thinking that the charging port for both the tabs are totally different and this may not work at all..
Still I am just curious to know whether this has been tried by anybody...

To answer the OP's question... I just got one from eBay for $26 US. It works very well. For that much money, it's hard to beat. Your CDMA GT should fit in it just fine. Both the keybaord and the case are good quality, and can't be beat for that much money.
I do see one potential problem, however. When the case is latched closed the rubber (soft plastic) bracket that supports the base of the tablet comes into contact the screen and does exert a slight amount of pressure on the screen. Over time I am guessing that may damage the screen, but I'm just guessing - not sure about that at all.
Actually, I like the standard Samsung book case the best for the Galaxy Tab, and I don't always need the keyboard. So I'm going to take the little rubber keyboard out of this case and carry that separately. For $26, even that is a great buy.
This case/keyboard is sold under a bunch of brand names. Here is a bunch of reviews on Amazon, if you like to read them.
Hey Dan,
I've been using the Mobile Keyboard 6000 from Microsoft for a few weeks now.
The price is a bit overkill but sure worth the quality you get. And the number pad being detached from the letters is a nice feature if your on the go all the time, leaving the number pad behind is sometimes a plus. It is slightly bigger then the tablet itself but i don't mind since also use it for at home.
Ive been rocking the typing book cover for 2 days now, and so far i like it aside from a few things. But its not putting me off of it with its sleek tight fit.
The main issue is that there is no place to hold a stylus. (PS definitely worth the 20 bones to pick one up) and second, when it is being held in its typing arrangement, you cannot have anything plugged in besides the headphones. It does have a small slit so that the headphone jack doesn't have to be removed and put back in every time but they didn't do the same for the charger/accessory port.
Cheers!

I just picked the same one up at Target for $30 on clearance yesterday. Not a fan and I wouldn't recommend it. The cookie-sheet case feels flimsy and it doesn't protect the back of the tablet at all. The metal edges are kind of sharp (not knife sharp) but I have to be careful not to scratch the sides of my tab when putting it face down in this case. I also don't feel that it's very secured when closed (tablet face down). The keyboard works alright, it's very responsive, and it pairs easily and maintains it's connection, but some of the dedicated buttons don't work. I also would rather re-map some of the android keys such as the email button to open gmail. Maybe I can, but haven't looked into it. I guess it's ok if you're looking for a cheap bluetooth keyboard, but I don't trust it to protect my tablet. Idk how logitech justified this as a $100 case.
**edit** Been using this case with the blueputdroid app on my phone as a mouse and am loving it!

Slide keyboard covers, where i can find them?

I was searching a way to QWERTY-ize a phone with a cover, in the way some iPhone covers do, putting a Bluetooth keyboard on a slide mechanism cover, as of now i own a Motorola Droid 3, and i want only qwerty phones for the future, but i would like to amplify my choice over non-qwerty phones once my D3 would retire, where i can found something like that?
Thickness is not a problem for me, neither the color or phone, i just want to know which slide keyboard covers actually exists, no distinctions between phone brands
I hope this thread could help someone else! Thank you for your interest!
And hey, I thought once again that I had come up with a great idea. The internet shows me again that if I come up with a problem and/or a great idea someone else probably has done it too.
I am between my Desire Z and a loaner Samsung Note. I love the Desire Z, especially with flinny's CM 10.1 but I have to give it to the Note that the display on that one is just great.
I'm using Irssi Connectbot SSH a lot, so using a software keyboard is a no-no. First I thought that I'd carry two phones, the qwerty-one when i need an SSH-connection but this is just silly.
So I am too looking for a small phone-sized qwerty keyboard that is attachable to the back cover of any android bigger-screened multicore phone, or just replaces the back cover.
Did you get anywhere with this? I am currently thinking of buying an iphone Bluetooth keyboard case and bolting it to my Xperia Z. Can anyone tell me if that will or won't work?

Armbands?

What's the best armband anyone has found/used for the optimus g pro? I don't want a crappy one like I usually end up with. I've found a few on Amazon but I'm not impressed

So after much searching for "the best armband" ... I believe I have found what I was looking for. There are several options if you go onto Amazon, but they are the generic armbands that don't really appeal to me.

This is what I ended up going with and it works great. The OGP fits in perfectly.
A few caveats: you won't be able to fit the OGP in with a case on. Also, your status bar and hardware buttons at the bottom are going to be difficult to get to. All of this is easily remedied if you use pie. Even without, I was able to navigate just fine.
If anyone wants to see any pictures of the OGP in this case, I can oblige.
