[solved] Weather widget temperature digits get cut off - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Any idea how to fix it? Ive tried removing and replacing the widget. Not sure what else i can do.

Which weather widget are you referring to? I tried the accuweather (i think that's what comes with the phone), but wasn't what I wanted.
Anyways, you may also want to consider other weather widgets on market. I found 3D Digital weather clock and also Android Weather on market and found I like the Android Weather better - it offers transparency, shows location, date/day, time and current temp and weather condition.

Yup, I do mean the stock one. I tried uploading a picture of it thru the xda app, but it keeps hanging. Thanks for the tip, I'll try Android Weather.
Update: the ota update for 2.3.6 fixed the issue.

Weird Weather Issue when unlocking screen

Was running DC3.5. Flashed CM6.0 and still having the same behavior...
When unlocking the screen, i see a slight trace of an animated/live weather. Sort of like a sun/cloud. I can only see it vaguely though and I cant figure out what app its coming from.
Any ideas?
I'm running Beautiful Widget but the image I am seeing is like a live weather image of the sun and cloud parting ways.
Im stumped
I'm personally not using that widget but the widget I am using (Weather & Clock) has an addon with settings that animate upon unlock.
See attachment.
If you can't find it in running apps or something perhaps a complete wipe and reflash?

I owe you a beer!
I also have that widget but dont really use it as I prefer Beautiful Widgets but for some reason, not being enabled (the widget) those settings were still active. Unchecked that setting and all is well!
Thanks again!

[Q] Clock and Weather widgets?

Does anyone know where I can get these clock and weather widgets?
That looks like make your clock widget. Available in the market. Not sure about the weather widget.

I downloaded Make Your Clock Widget Pro just about an hour ago. I would say thats what he's using for the time, date and weather. You need the pro ($1.88) version to do weather stuff.

[Q] Weather widget

I used to have a weather widget which was split between the actual (local) weather and the forecast in one widget It was more or less Accuweather quick and regular in one, For some stranger reason I cannot find it anymore..(after flashing back and forth between ROMS ) I thought is was in my Rom (Remics), but it's not there (anymore?) I also believe it's from accu weather, Any1 have a clue???

I have also faced the same issue several times when switching between ROMs. Any idea to solve it?
Thanks.

Clock and Weather App?

I don't have my previous ROM name at hand, sadly, But I recently flashed SR Lollipop v6.
I use Nova Launcher and thought it had it's own Weather widget, so when I went to try and place a weather widget with a clock on it, I couldn't find one. Any app I download to use as a replacement, I can't get my LG Clock app to open when I tap the time. Is this an System App issue or a user issue?
In other words, before I flashed a new rom, when I tapped on the clock in my weather app, it opened my alarms. If I tapped the weather, it opened a weather app. HOWEVER, It was NOT the default weather app that comes with LG. It was a centered clock with weather underneath, similar to yahoo weather.
How do I fix this?
Please delete this thread, or close it. I have figured out my issue. It was an App called Chronus.

Digital clock question

Is there any way to remove the date from the digital clock? I have the stock weather widget running in the top right corner, which also shows the date, so it's redundant to also have it displayed in the clock, which is right below it.
Barring that, is there a recommended digital clock widget that has the same stock font, can be sized to the 4 x 2 of the stock clock, and had the option to display no date?
There are a ton of available clock and weather apps in the Play Store that have wigets, usually with more customization options than the stock Android versions. If you do a little trial and error testing it shouldn't take you long to find what you are looking for. You can also look for general widget apps like Beautiful Widgets which usually include clock and weather widgets because they tend to be the most popular.

This might get you started but if you don't find something to your liking there are a ton more in the Play Store. It shouldn't be hard at all to find either a digital clock widget or a weather widget that doesn't also display the date. There are also a lot of clock widgets that actually display the weather as well, so if you liked something like that you could use one widget instead of two and save yourself a little battery. I used to use one like that called Fancy Widgets but it didn't have as many customization options as some other widget apps.

Thanks for the advice. I did try several digital clock widgets, but every single one included a non-removable date. The HD Widgets in your link looks like it has what I need in it though, so I'll try that one out.
Thanks again!
