How to increase internal storage in lg optimus me p350
(note : Your phone should be free from a2sd,s2e,link2sd etc.)
do following steps to increase internal storage
Copy Ungaze data2sd v4b5 to memory card (http://www.filestube.com/eF21t3sFw7a3EVNFqcMye5/Ungaze-Data2sd-v4b5.html)
2.Go to custom recovery mod
3.You will see option Partition sdcard go there
4.Partition sd
5.Swap size : 32 default Ext2 size : 512 (you can put more if you have 1 gb card you can put 512 mb . 512 mb will be deducted from memory card )
6.Partition will take approximate 5 min
7.Now reboot
8.Now second time go to recovery mod
9.Now u will see mount option
10.Mount system,data,cache,sdcard,sd-ext
11.Now flash the data2sd v4b5
12.Reboot
13.Youre done Check the memory
Plz backup your memory card (titanium apps backup, music , vid everything )

when i first saw it , it was on paxor's cm 7.2 page, and it said something about ram but i'm not sure anymore .

I think it is a problem with this metod , we need this cause if someone ports ics < not far from that , our ram will be almost full , 140 mb to run ics , so we need this
Ive tried it and Ive got an error: E:can't mount /dev/blockmmcblk02. Im using paxor rom.Any ideas?

how it work
in easy words
first he make 2 parts of sd card. First part for user and 2nd part for app or system memory.
In 2nd part you can store your apps or more.
2nd part add more memory for system. Which we have only 170.
So it give you more performance.
This is tested. On test benchmark result is 2180[antutu][not tested by me. I don't have p350 phone]
i just shere this guide. If you facing any error then don't try. but this not work on stock sd card. For this work you need to buy new sd card from store and this sd card will have class 6 or higher because lower sd card not work.

For memory which sd card you are using stock sd from lg which is 2 gb or new sd from store.
If you are using stock sd then it will not work. Or you are using new sd then what size of this sd and what class?

Hi,
I dont get this mod working for me.
first at step 10, i get an error when trying to mount sd-ext .
(i dont know if thats a problem because the mod only changes stuff in the system)
but after applying the patch i get a bootloop.
I found out that i can fix it with "chmod -x /system/etc/init.d/02ungaze_init"
and after booting up "source /system/etc/init.d/02ungaze_init",
but this way is to inconvenient, why does it not work on startup.
Edit:
I foud a solution, i renamed the file from 02ungaze.... to 22ungaze..... , now it works fine

My girlfriend got the HTC Wildfire S for MetroPCS a couple of weeks ago. It is a nice phone except for one little problem: The internal memory is crap. She has exactly 5 apps installed, all are moved to SD, and she has 7.14 MB or internal memory free. It is running the stock 2.3 Rom rooted. I need some help figuring out what to do. Before you guys make suggestions let me list what I have already done:
1. S-OFF and rooted, removed all bloatware, which moved it from 3.21 MB to 8 MB which seems like BS because a few of those apps were about 6 MB in size.
2. Moved apps to SD card partially in the applications menu in settings.
3. Cleaned caches
4. Uninstalled almost every application.
This is very frustrating because she cant update apps, she cant download apps, and it is frustrating because I have the old Huawei Ascend on CM7 and I have more apps and am faster than her phone, its ridiculous, I also wonder why after removing over 60MB or crap and bloatware it freed up about 7MB. Makes no sense. I don't want to do DT's app2sd script yet because she doesn't have a way to back up her stuff before the partition of the SD card. If anyone can explain another way or something I can do to fix this please..... It would be greatly appreciated.
Use Partition Wizard Home (Free) to resize your FAT32 partition and create your Ext(whatever your kernel supports) partition on a windows machine.
No need to back up. Doesn't destroy partitions.
My preference is Link2SD free from the market.
You can mass move your apps, dalvik cache and library files to the Ext(Probably Ext2 with stock rom kernel) from the SD card and internal to your Ext partition very easy.
Also you can set it up to auto do this when new apps are installed and choose which apps you want to keep fully internal for faster booting, startup, etc.

Is this the same question from two different people or one person logged on as two different people?
If your card is corrupt and can't be read try a program like Recuva on the PC (free) to get your files from it.

sorry different person. Got a new card read sd card checks out after partion it will just not read the card can all kind of test on the card formated changed partion back to fad 32 it will just not read the card mounts in windows just fine.

yes and cant be read after any changes with mini tool partion wizard
if I make partions with windows storage manager it works fine. The only problem with that is windows see more that one partion on what it considers removal meda but cant create edit or change it. so gess im searching for a new partion tool or get some bootabe image of a linix distro and try it from there

Format it in windows using the partition software I mentioned and make sure it is:
1/ Fat32
2/ A Primary not a Logical partition
3/ Make it the Active partition

Choose EXT3
Sorry for the double post but you have to be rooted from what I understand. There is also a script or application that you have to use to move the apps and you MUST be rooted.

USB Storage is Internal SD card.....fixed size is 1.7G
I don't think Rio's ROM's use the mount-point swap....??
However, I believe this could be implemented, which means your External SD Card [up to 32G] could be swapped in system file /etc/vold.fstab to act as your internal Usb Storage, allowing you much more storage for whatever data you wish to save on /sdcard..........
also, this would allow you to move Apps to your 1.7G Internal SD, which would now be seen by system as /sdcard/external_sd.....
you should check in the forum as to how to do this, also perhaps make a post in the ROM thread.

There is a link to a small tutorial.....check it out, but be careful, and do back-up.
I would also before doing this, make sure all apps are on internal phone memory, if you can, like no moved apps...

i have HTC Wildfire using cm 7 but internel memory goes down having problem to download softwares,,m using link2sd its working but one of my frien showed his htc explorer internel memory was nearly 2 gb he said he partitioned his sd i tried many tutorials and i partitioned my sd but cant done like my friend(means ..not showing internel momry is about 2 gb ..in phone) but link2sd working but i need like my friend plz give me the link of thread or plz guide me!!

firstly u can't increase internal memory. secondly data2sd for good working needs root acces and it only move ur apps from phone on sd edt when u had it done. u can make some mtd partitions and u'll se some more free place on ur phone bu it decrease something else ....

Internal memory can be increased if you are S-OFF
it can't be increased without decreasing other stuff. read sth about it and then try to tell about it. as i remember good, when u have mtd partitions, then ubhave about 30-40mb space more on internal memory but about 30-40 mb less in system partition or sth about that (; doing mtd partition is good way when u want to have ics on willy. for other stuff like cm7 or sense roms ext is enough :3 correct me i am wrong :3

I follow the last link and it 's work for increasing data memory. But it needs to know how much memory take your ROM. The value of system memory depends of it: choice system memory = ROM memory +5Mega

Use FreeSpace to get the partition information.

if you have rooted wildfire go to recovery then sd card partion then you can choose how many spaces you need to take for internal memory
Before folowing the actions of this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1233340, you must install freesapce (thanks optimusodd) or link2sd to known the memory place which take your custom ROM in memory named system.

When u start the app for the 1st time and grant root access it prompts to fix a storage related issue. Choose yes. Then u can move parts of apps onto sd card.
But if u want to move large games... then u need to install xposed framework and ObbOnSD module. Here is a video on XDA-TV that will help you...

I found a way with Link2SD. I didn't even know I had to create 2nd partition on my SD.. now it's all good
I have a Moto E with cynogenmod 14.1 Nightly Latest Installed.
Most of the RAM is used in Nougat 7.1.1
I have a 64 GB SD Card.
Is there any way I can create 2 Partitions, 1 for additional RAM, 2nd for Internal Storage for installation of big apps.
I have searched the forum too but didnt find the answer.

I don't think so.
You could use Link2SD for the internal storage handling, but IDK if you can use a partition for RAM management.
It's impossible in my opinion
1. Install apps2sd PRO version from play store.
2. Find an option "create sd card partitions".
3. Select how much size of partitions you want.
4. Done
Don't blame me for any data loss, its better to create a backup of your data!
Use RAMExpander to create a swap file.
use foldermount for connect big apps partition like .obb

Use stock ROM 4.4.4 and any app which will forcely move app to SD card like link2sd or lucky patcher then move all your apps in SD card.. no need of any partion of SD ... Am using 4.4.4 and more than 40 apps with great speed .... Use greenify and ramexpander

There is app in play store to check ram expander will work or not ... Check it .. search in play store ram expander memory check
